Things have shifted in my makeup routine. If you’ve watched any of my instagram stories (follow me here!) then you know I now have a very precocious little girl named Eloise. While I still absolutely love makeup, hair, & beauty…I am very short on time, hands, & sleep these days. So easy products are wearing the crown. The Organic Skin Co. let me select some items & also sent a few themselves & I’m pretty excited to share! [Read more…]

Suzanne Somers was one of my idols growing up. I watched her on tv & read her books. She was always such a positive person- like a ray of sunshine. I’m serious. When I had the opportunity to try some items from her line- I jumped at the chance! She really takes a more natural stance & since I’ve been making a lot of healthy changes in my life- I was extra interested! I have some skincare & makeup from Suzanne Organics to share- all handpicked by me! Keep reading to see it all! [Read more…]
If you love Urban Decay…or glitter….or duochrome…or eyeshadow…then you’ve likely heard of the Urban Decay Moondust eyeshadows. Each shade is insanely unique & looks absolutely incredible on the eye. We’ve all been begging for more shades & they answered with the Urban Decay Moondust Palette (review coming soon!) & then doubled down with these liquid shades called the Liquid Moondust Eyeshadows! Keep reading to check out my swatches, review, & a demo of one of my favorite shades! [Read more…]
This post is a tad late because I already posted my review & swatches of the Urban Decay Vintage Vault Lipsticks here but I just wanted to chime in with this as well! Urban Decay has a ton of stunning new releases we’re all super excited about- both limited edition & permanent. I thought seeing everything at once might be helpful & then you’ll be able to see my in-depth reviews coming up! SO keep reading for a peek at what is coming next!
What are you up to this year for New Year’s Eve? Normally we celebrate in a pretty laid back way- but of course I like my makeup to look FIERCE!
When I think of NYE, I always want to bring out my best features. You’re probably thinking, “Stephanie, shouldn’t that be all the time?” & okay you might have a point. What I mean is that NYE tends to be the closest I get to “clubbing” since we’re such lame 20-somethings. I love the lighting & the glitz- much of which tends to reflect highlighter like the best spotlight ever. Using some items from the Mirabella Beauty Faerie Holiday Collection, I’m going to demo how to really get your glow on & especially make blue eyes pop- because that’s what I love to do.
This post is somewhat embarrassing because it shows my complete lack of control when I really like something. Seriously I just buy almost an entire line…proof in this post as I currently own 8 out of 10. & it is killing me not to make it 10 out of 10. I have a problem.
The Revlon PhotoReady Eye Art Lid + Line + Lash Duos come in 10 shades like I said above & each product is double-ended. Each duo comes with a cream eyeshadow on one side & a glitter on the other. The two colors I don’t have are Fuchsia Flash which is a very pale pink & fuchsia glitter & the other shade is Burnished Bling which I fully intend to pick up when I finally find it in stock! I posted a sneak peak of these on my Instagram here which is a good place to follow me for sneak peeks & deals I find! [Read more…]
I have been having a semi-public battle with my brows long before blogging. I really fight to find that perfect brow balance…& with my personal eyebrows it tends to be tough. How much plucking is too much? Why are my brows so thin there? Geez- is that really the right color? I’ve been using the Milani Brow Fix Brow Kit in Light for years now- & here are two more products to add to my arsenal. Keep reading to see how these Milani products have helped to shape my difficult brows! [Read more…]

Recently I asked on my facebook page what kind of tutorials you guys would most like to see & I got some pretty unexpected answers! Two that really caught my eye were work appropriate & something for those with arthritic hands. You may be thinking those don’t go together but I thought I could make it work! I wanted to come up with something really effortless that wouldn’t require a lot of blending or work in general. The Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Eye Colours are perfect for this! Keep reading to see how you can get a quick eye look & soft orchid lip- on trend & on time! [Read more…]
I’m extremely late posting this because I was extremely late finding these! I was practically obsessing & was so scared I’d never be able to find them! If you search back on my blog then you know how much I absolutely adore the Maybelline Color Tattoos so that would have been a tragedy. Luckily I did! Keep reading to see swatches & review of the Maybelline Limited Edition Color Tattoos in Nude Pink, Just Beige, & Matte Brown from the Gilded in Gold Collection which was released in 2013.
If you read my post on the new limited edition Maybelline Color Tattoo in Precious Pearl then you knew this post was coming. Maybelline Color Tattoos are just plain awesome, the only bad thing about them is that they can’t call be permanent! This collection brings about duochromes…let those angels sing. I passed on two shades (a yellow & an icy lavender) but I did pick up 5 which you can see below! [Read more…]
