Now that you’ve seen my review of the Urban Decay Wired Pressed Pigment Palette (see it here!) & the Urban Decay Wired 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencils in Jolt, Amped, Shock, & Vivid (see it here!) – I wanted to share some eye looks! I also used all Urban Decay products to create them (from primer to brows) so I’ll be noting those items as well! If you haven’t checked out my reviews- please be sure to do that first so you know about the texture & opacity of each shade!
Because I actually own & use a ton of Urban Decay, I figured I’d keep things cohesive. I want to note that some of these things I’m still testing & some I may end up not liking. I also opted to NOT bring in another palette although it was VERY tempting to do so. In day to day life, I’m more likely to bring in something to highlight, blend, etc.

I also need to note that 4 of the shades in the Wired Palette I used are NOT recommended for the immediate eye area. Follow packaging instructions to know which shades are safe for eyes. I made the decision to use certain shades closer to the eye with a well-loved & used primer beneath.

My first idea for a rainbow eye just didn’t work out like I wanted. I was really relying heavily on the white to pop the colors which didn’t work. So this was after a lot of testing & realizing that using more than just an eyeshadow base really helps. & lots of layering. I also used the pressed powder to buff out lines.
Savage is really an impressive, pigmented shade so I knew it would be a good way to “place” where I wanted my deeper shades to start in the crease. The outer corner is Chaos… which really doesn’t blend well with Gravity because it just looked like ash…not purple. You can see me using it on the bottom lashline though with nice results. Shock eyeshadow is in my inner corner to blend into Savage & then I took it out further than usual & up higher as well to graze the edges. On the lid is Switch blended into Shock & Savage then Jolt. The only shade I didn’t use here is Slowburn.
For the winged trio eyeliner I used Amped in the inner corner then blended with Shock & last Vivid. I had originally used Jolt in the center but it just didn’t look right.
From inner corner to about halfway under the lashline I used the 24/7 pencil in Shock. The other half I used Vivid. On top of Shock went the eyeshadow in Shock with Gravity pushed on an angled brush right into the lashline. Chaos is on the outter half with a bit more Gravity pressed along the lashes. Fluorescent was used to buff Chaos a bit but to be honest…you can’t really tell.

After priming I used the 24/7 Eyeliner in Shock in my crease, rounding it out, & inner corner. I skipped over the lid area. I placed the shade Current on the lid but didn’t pack it on, more of a place holder. I buffed Gravity into the crease then took the Shock eyeshadow in the inner corner & to blend edges. I then used Glitch to blend edges & highlight.
