Now that you’ve seen my review of the Urban Decay Wired Pressed Pigment Palette (see it here!) & the Urban Decay Wired 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencils in Jolt, Amped, Shock, & Vivid (see it here!) – I wanted to share some eye looks! I also used all Urban Decay products to create them (from primer to brows) so I’ll be noting those items as well! If you haven’t checked out my reviews- please be sure to do that first so you know about the texture & opacity of each shade! [Read more…]
The Urban Decay Wired Pressed Pigment Palette made me gasp when I saw promo images. It’s here- the followup of the oh-so-beloved Urban Decay Electric Palette! I still have my original palette (nostalgia to the max) so I was practically jumping at the chance to love on Urban Decay brights in a new format. Inside you have six eyeshadows to the left & four pressed pigments to the right which are labeled “not for use around the eye” very boldly. Keep reading to check out my thoughts! [Read more…]
Pigments have always had a special place in my heart. I discovered really cheap formulas when I was in middle school but they were absolutely the best. Back in the day, the drugstore just didn’t have very many good eyeshadows. Discovering pigments opened up so many options. Granted…I probably should’ve have been allowed to rock baby blue metallics as much as I did…but that is in the past. Today I’m talking about the Make Up For Ever Star Lit Powder Pigments– they’re incredibly stunning & the formula is pretty flawless. Keep reading to see all my shades! [Read more…]
When I was perusing the Colour Pop website for the first time all I knew is that I was in a buying mood. I bought a lot! The Colour Pop Fetch Please Collection is the only set I purchased though so I figured I’d start there! This set includes one matte single eyeshadow, a pressed pigment duo, an eyeshadow duo, & 3 matte lippie stix. Keep reading to see my thoughts, swatches, & an eye look! [Read more…]
Glossybox has quickly become one of my favorite subscriptions & I definitely look forward to unwrapping it every month! While a bit more expensive- Glossybox tends to offer larger sizes, high end brands, & often many full sizes as well. It is a hit.

This Glossybox is way above & beyond. The packaging is completely different from my usual sleek, pink box. This month for their holiday edition you see a gorgeous red velvet etched box with gold detailing. I love this change up- very cold weather & holiday-esque. [Read more…]

When it comes to eyeshadows from the drugstore, the Maybelline Color Tattoos are easily some of my favorites. I wear them as eyeshadow bases nearly day to day & also wear them on their own. When I heard they were coming out with pigments…I was ecstatic. I LOVE pigments! These are the first true mainstream/drugstore pigments I’ve tried that weren’t some form of sheer. After reading some reviews I picked up 7 shades. I have since picked up all but one! Keep reading to see my swatches & thoughts! [Read more…]
I have to say, I’ve been so excited about this post! It has been my favorite idea because all I used was easy to find drugstore makeup. From foundation to false lashes, the full tutorial is in the video below! I’ve also listed all the products below. I went with purple & blue, my favorite mermaid shades! This would work with an color combinations though, especially if they are well pigmented! I highly recommend the turquoise shade I used, it applied perfectly!
