One of the saddest makeup moments is when something you love gets discontinued. Bruise from Urban Decay was one of those shades for me. I even had a gloss (I believe in Gash) to match! This was a product I saved up money for & I absolutely loved it. The memory still rings true- & now that I have it back as part of the Urban Decay Vintage Vice Collection of lipsticks brought back from the 90’s vault…I feel that attraction to the shade all over again! Ever see reviews of a palette & think “What is the hype there?” Well that’s how I felt about the Lorac Unzipped Palette. I’d seen it in stores & thought it was really pretty but not a must have. Too Faced came out with these beautiful palettes a long time ago…& I’ve just been sitting around on them. I know- shame on me. I have had these for a really long time because my husband gifted them to me as a surprise…but I haven’t got an excuse for why they haven’t made it onto the blog yet! Both palettes are beautifully packaged, have nice pigmentation, & are oh-so-summery! Keep reading to check out the Too Faced A La Mode Palette & the Bonjour Soleil Palette! [Read more…]
When it comes to eyeshadows from the drugstore, the Maybelline Color Tattoos are easily some of my favorites. I wear them as eyeshadow bases nearly day to day & also wear them on their own. When I heard they were coming out with pigments…I was ecstatic. I LOVE pigments! These are the first true mainstream/drugstore pigments I’ve tried that weren’t some form of sheer. After reading some reviews I picked up 7 shades. I have since picked up all but one! Keep reading to see my swatches & thoughts! [Read more…]
This post has been a long time coming & is probably crazy detailed. I’ve been wanting to review these for some time but when I do a review I was to be CERTAIN about my convictions. I wanted to use each of these numerous times in different ways so I could fully answer any questions & explain my experiences. Basically, I like to not be full of…well full of it in general.
