The first fragrance my husband ever bought me was Marc Jacobs Lola. It was romantic & a big gesture for us since we were seriously poor back then. Every time I wear it- I feel special. Over the years I’ve added quite a few more to my collection (I’ll detail more at the end of this post!) but the seasonal releases are always something I seek out. I don’t always purchase them but this one is just so lovely! Keep reading to see why I purchased Marc Jacobs Daisy Kiss Limited Edition Perfume!
Enter the world of Daisy: fresh and feminine, with a playful innocence. The heart of Daisy is floral with vintage edge of violet. Sophisticated, with a touch of whimsy, violet captures the eclectic, timeless flavor of Marc Jacobs’ groundbreaking feminine designs. Always elegant, always enchanting—but not too serious—Daisy is a sparkling floral bouquet, spirited and fresh, wrapped in comfort and warmth.
First off- can we talk about how lovely this pink ombre bottle is? They created it to evoke”the thrilling emotion of a kiss” which is quite sweet since they usually release around Valentine’s Day. The main notes in Daisy Kiss are Valentine Polemo, White Peony, & Creamy Cedarwood. I also detect some beautiful rose beneath. It is packed with fruity notes like polemo, apricot, & something else sweet that I can’t quite pin down. The Sephora description IS WRONG & I hope they fix it to reflect the correct notes. This is a really fruity floral to begin & dries down on me (remember all skin chemistry is different!) into a fruity rose with a touch more cedar as the day goes on. I can still detect it in 4 hours & it really fades around 6. This is another fragrance people ask about while I’m wearing it!
There are two other fragrances released with Daisy Kiss- Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream Kiss & Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh Kiss. I actually also have Dream Kiss which is similar but smells more like summer. I passed on Daisy Eau So Fresh Kiss because I didn’t like it as well as the other two.
Here’s a peek at posts where I mentioned other Marc Jacobs scents:
Marc Jacobs Honey ( & yes I bought a full size!)
