Zoya is constantly coming out with new & interesting finishes- & today I have another one to share! This collection is a transitional selection meant to prep our palettes from winter to spring. I quite like this collection as a palette- very much so my kind of cleanser between nail art & neons. This collection has a satin finish & Zoya calls it “low-sheen” which I hadn’t heard before. Keep reading to check out the swatches!
Zoya Ana- A pink-toned beige/almond with a satin finish. 2 coats with no top coat.
Zoya Brittany- A muted mauve with a satin finish. 2 coats with no top coat.
Zoya Leah- A lavender-toned gray with a satin finish. 2 coats with no top coat.
Zoya Tove- A dusty grey-based blue with a satin finish. 2 coats with no top coat.
Zoya Rowan- A brown-toned taupe with a satin finish. 2 coats with no top coat.
Zoya Sage- A dusty, muted green with a satin finish. 2 coats with no top coat.
The finish across the board with these is quite similar so I’m just going to delve into that here. I have ridges in my nails (you can especially see them in my pointer!) & when I’m not going to use a top coat I often opt for a ridge-filling base. These absolutely did not play nice with that! I ended up swatching these without base coat which can make them look a bit bumpy here & there. I personally prefer them with top coat but I like that you have the option! As per usual, you can purchase Zoya brand polishes directly from their website here.
Any shades here appeal to you? Are you into the satin trend when it comes to polish? What are your favorite neutrals right now?
