If you’re as addicted to EOS products as I am then you’ve likely seen their new swirly looking lip balm eggs! These new options are called “visibly soft” & has a swirled pattern on the exterior. I have to say- the EOS craze is definitely still strong. I’ve reviewed a lot of the EOS products here & they continue to be some of my most liked, viewed, & pinned posts EVER! The EOS Alice in Wonderland Trio even got two posts one HERE & one HERE. I still love that packaging! I’ve even covered some dupes from Walgreens & the EOS Medicated Tangerine variety. Because I’ve talked about these so frequently I’ve also taken into account complaints from readers as well about them not thinking the EOS balms were moisturizing enough so I was excited to see the new “visibly soft” promise spe

cifically!

You can see these balms are the same size as the originals. They come in shrinked plastic so you know you’re getting an unused balm. For the OCD like me this is always appreciated!What is different about these balms is that they don’t seem to come to a complete close visually. I honestly haven’t noticed that they seem dry & wonder if it has something to do with the swirl effect.

EOS Visibly Soft Lip Balm in Vanilla Mint– It took my husband & I a really long time to nail down this scent! We kept both saying it smelled so familiar & finally he nailed it. The sweet mint is definitely on the far back of the scent but what we both smelled first is kind of vanilla ish. Then he said it smelled like some kind of candy we eat & it does! Imagine the bottom of the bag of those robin’s eggs malted candies you can find around Easter! It isn’t too sweet or too strong either- almost like a sweet neutral.

EOS Visibly Soft Lip Balm in Coconut Milk– I think this one might be my favorite because it reminds me a lot of summer! It smells like coconut milk but also slightly tart. More sweet than tart but I definitely smell it! I almost detect a very soft floral but maybe that is my imagination?

Now to the texture- which is really what you’ll be curious about right? I DO think these have a different formula! Normally when I buy a new balm it has a waxy look & feel. While you can see these might look waxy above they don’t feel waxy at all! On the lips, even on first application, these glide right on. I think they feel more moisturizing but also not as thick. I have super SUPER dry lips at the moment so it is hard for me to judge how they would be normally but they do seem to be helping! & the packaging is definitely cute.

I found mine on the ULTA website as well as Drugstore.com but I’m betting they will be available wherever EOS products are sold soon!
