So first off- I’m totally a fantasy nerd. When all the other kids wanted a pony I was pretty positive my parents could get me a unicorn. #theydoexist & I’m showing you my version of one today! NYE Look Using Mirabella Faerie Products! + Collab!
What are you up to this year for New Year’s Eve? Normally we celebrate in a pretty laid back way- but of course I like my makeup to look FIERCE!
When I think of NYE, I always want to bring out my best features. You’re probably thinking, “Stephanie, shouldn’t that be all the time?” & okay you might have a point. What I mean is that NYE tends to be the closest I get to “clubbing” since we’re such lame 20-somethings. Ever had a collection scream your name? I feel like KBShimmer really had my number for this winter/holiday season. They somehow made every shade I have perfection…I suspect they employ hard-working elves.

ORLY Mirrorball & Bling Holo Polishes & Houndstooth Decals
Is there anything more spectacular than a gorgeous holo mani? I mean seriously- I would holo everything in my life if I could. I also have some of my first Born Pretty items to show you for nails which I’m quite excited about! Tis the season where less isn’t more- more is definitely MORE!

Lorac 3D Liquid Lustre Set for Holiday 2014 are Everything!
Shall we talk about my love of glitter & glitz? I think we should! Nothing screams holidays to me quite like an abundance of shimmer & glitters. I adore the drama & the shine that catches all the lights. Glitter can get a seriously bad reputation- something meant only for the young & chunky + uncomfortable to wear. That just isn’t true anymore- there are options for us glitter aficionados…& I’m going to share one of my favorite intense shimmer options with you today!
Lorac Lustre Drops are nothing new to me- I pick them up whenever possible. I actually reviewed a similar limited edition set last year around this time which you can see here. The two shades of Lorac Lustre Drops that are permanent & available year-round are Diamond & Gold which are both gorgeous. Last year the shades in my set were Diamond, Platinum, Amethyst, & Topaz. C is for Copy Cat with Zoya Matte Velvet Nail Art
This #A2ZNails weekly series has been so fun so far. I love that you guys love it- repetitive? Yes but factual. After last week & my B is for Bold nail art I was looking for something a bit more fall or even winter. The theme this month is Copy Cat so there were tons of options here…but I decided to go with this idea that I pinned awhile ago & just loved. (ps if you don’t follow me on Pinterest you’re missing out- my nail obsession isn’t just restricted to my blog!)
So basically I kind of took her fabulous idea & made it dark, vampy, matte (until I added top coat…), & of course multi-colored because I have no self-control. I personally love it.
So my base color is Zoya Dovima which was lovely. You let it dry completely & then add your striping tape kind of randomly focusing at the tips. I then sponged on each colorful shade focusing again on my tips. I think the outcome is so easy & so beautiful. Obviously her design is way more awesome-ly in your face color-wise but this just feels so fall! My pointer finger (red) is Zoya Posh, middle (purple) is Zoya Savita, ring finger (green) is Zoya Veruschka, & the pink looking color on my pinkie is Zoya Harlow.
In the end I decided to add a topcoat because…shiny! Plus it makes those shimmers really flash. Please ignore the obvious pet hair on my pointer. #that’smylife In the end I really love the design & I barely had to think about it- just pretty much came together!
So what design would you copycat? Next week’s design will be D for Dark, any ideas? I’m kind of at a lost- I need some inspiration! Remember to check everyone else out below!
