I feel deep in love with an Eddie Funkhouser blush (review here) & now I own all 4…which are basically perfect in every way. Jealous? I normally try to do lots of Halloween tutorials…but this year it has been crazy busy. With the new site & lots of life stuff I haven’t gotten to share as much as I’d like. Today, however, I get to show you a tutorial I absolutely fell in love with! I used a variety of products (all broken down below) but it doesn’t have to just be Halloween either. The eyeshadows I used mainly are from the Urban Decay Vice 3 Palette which I’ll be reviewing soon- & this look is just a favorite! Love my purples! Let me tell you a tale- a story of going out after work unexpectedly with a gigantic purse packed to the hilt. First, it took me several minutes of digging to even find my wallet. Next- I dropped a half full water bottle in the middle of a restaurant. To top off the evening I actually had my strap break which trying to mingle my way back to my car in a full bar. I’m so glad this wasn’t some kind of date. This was the night I discovered the Emergency Clutch…
What is it you ask? Basically it is a clutch I can grab out of my car/work & take out with me at night. I’m not talking about a first aid kit or camping set… Just in case I’m missing any necessary items to get a bit more glammed up that I don’t usually keep in my car I keep them in the clutch too. It helps me transition to night or update my look quickly on the go. Let’s break down what I keep inside!
First let me show you my clutch- see how basic it is? I tried to pick something really basic. My basic might not be your basic- you might want to pick something with silver metal, no metal at all, or in a pattern. I also chose something with a sturdy wrist strap which is handy to grab & go. This one happened to be on sale at Old Navy a long time ago & I still dig the classic lines. Here are a few similar idea styles here, here, & here.
