Ever had a collection scream your name? I feel like KBShimmer really had my number for this winter/holiday season. They somehow made every shade I have perfection…I suspect they employ hard-working elves.

Silver & gold are beautiful year-round but they just scream holidays don’t they? Toss in some holo & these super easy nail decals & you have something even more fun. Please excuse the dryness on my hands though- I have a huge cut on the back of my finger & anything lotion & acetone related makes me want to scream. Shall we talk about my love of glitter & glitz? I think we should! Nothing screams holidays to me quite like an abundance of shimmer & glitters. I adore the drama & the shine that catches all the lights. Glitter can get a seriously bad reputation- something meant only for the young & chunky + uncomfortable to wear. Lorac Lustre Drops are nothing new to me- I pick them up whenever possible. I actually reviewed a similar limited edition set last year around this time which you can see here. This morning I woke up to the heater being off. I left my slippers downstairs so I had to walk barefoot on the tile. I then proceeded to freeze my hands when washing them. Winter is definitely here. Because I grew up in southern California, I am a bit bias about this winter nonsense. I would much rather visit snow than live in it. The one shining light during this season for me is the makeup…& all of the new releases! Tis the season to buy gifts! Frankly many of them are for myself but we don’t need to go there, right? Estee Lauder is a brand I tend to play around in when I go to certain stores but like many other similar brands I try to wait for a great deal. When I know a brand will put out an awesome holiday set I try to hold out as long as possible for hope’s sake that something I’ve been eyeing will be included.
