Maybelline has come out with new Color Tattoos so you know I had to run out & pick them up! I’ll be showing 5 from the new display soon but first I wanted to show #10 Precious Pearl. I love neutral bases & these Maybelline Color Tattoos make the perfect eyeshadow or shadow base for me! Comparisons can be so helpful with cream eyeshadows don’t you think? I also decided to show this shade next to #100 Barely Beige & #70 Barely Branded for reference. Keep reading to see more!

Maybelline Color Tattoo in Precious Pearl is on a display away from the main one, you can see it here on Nouveau Cheap’s blog for reference! I snapped this up quick but honestly had no idea what it would end up looking like. Under the store lights it looked like a shimmery white.

In reality this shade is a slight beige with yellow tones (very faint ones) & lots of shimmer.If you look very closely on your skin you can see reflects of different colored shimmer like blue, purple, pink, & orange. In pictures my camera really picked up the yellow around the edges so I wanted to show a shot of the 3 lighter shades (minus the white shade from the core line) below. If you want to see a comparison with that shade too just let me know!

You  can see Barely Beige is warmer with more pink to it while Barely Branded is more yellow toned. Precious Pearl almost looks white in comparison to these two!
