So these are actually my first Maybelline Color Show nail polish swatches & I’m pretty impressed. These polishes were available alongside the more neutral 24 Hour Color Tattoo eyeshadows that I reviewed & swatched recently. Heads up: I found the other 4 today, the ones that are jewel toned! I’m getting them up ASAP! They’re STUNNING!

These polishes are all without base or top coat. They range in different coats so please keep that in mind. All of these colors looked really sheer on the first coat. Some evened out on the 2nd & some needed a 3rd. Quite a few would be really pretty over a darker shade but they can all be worn on their own after a few coats!

Avante Green: A metallic green shimmer with a blue/turquoise duochrome. 3 coats. I really love this color & this is the first one I’ve worn as a full manicure. Really gorgeous in the bottle with a nice range of blues & greens in different lighting. Not AS duochromed on the nail, but I still got quite a few compliments on it!

Metal Icon: A dirty titanium/nickel shade. It has small specks of bronze in it which gives it a way more original feel. This was an easy 2 coats. This reminded me of China Glaze’s Stone Cold at first but I think its just the industrial feel as it is much lighter. I can definitely compare them if you’d like! Such an easy to wear shade.

Auburn Ablaze: A really deep red toned plum with packed with shimmer that leans even more red. 2 coats. This reminds a bit of the base coat of Zoya’s Valerie. It wasn’t a shade that full on awed me but its perfect for fall! I had to take a picture with flash so you could see the shimmers because it comes of quite a bit darker in regular swatches. 

Boho Gold: This is an olive/bronze toned gold that goes blue & green on the edges. I don’t have anything like it! I love it for fall & I think it’ll be great again during the summer! Its really stunning & catches the light easily. This is 3 coats.

Pink Cosmo: A sheer shimmering super light beige with a dense pink shimmer. I was probably least excited about this shade, but its super pretty. This is 3 coats but it could have used at least 4. It actually looks a bit green in some lights but you always see the bright pink flash. I think over another shade, it will be crazy pretty.

Downtown Brown: An easy medium brown with intense green shimmer flash. This is stunning & probably tied as my favorite with Avante Green. SO FALL! Love that this is brown too since I’m kind of meh about most browns. This green shimmer is incredible & reminds me of quite a few eyeshadows with a similar color combo. This is 2 easy coats.

So overall, I’m super happy with this collection.I picked these up for $3.99 each at my CVS but they also have them at Walgreens. Probably some other drugstores too. These are pretty & quite original, at least to my collection.
