Today I wanted to take a break from holiday posts just for a moment to bring in a post I’ve had waiting in the wings since before I even cut my hair. I took these photos when I realized I was using some of my favorite products in my collection & realized this would probably be helpful to share. My collection is pretty vast so the go-to items are really important to me. & some have been around for ages. I just love favorites don’t you?

Have you ever picked up a lipstick & thought “I could wear this with everything…”? It is rare for me. I really do switch out lip colors seasonally & quite often so it is a pretty big deal. If you’ve been reading my blog for awhile now then you likely know I grew up raiding my mother’s Lancome stash. It was a pretty big deal. Although I know for a fact I’ve been using this lipstick for 5 years at a minimum…it is likely more like 10. I think it was 3-5 years ago that my mom & I randomly started a conversation talking about our favorite purse lipstick…& it was the same one. The one I’m wearing above is Lancome Color Design Lipstick in Love It! which is probably the best thing ever. I mean- that name? Was it not meant to be a favorite? This is the perfect, creamy pink & you’ll find it in my purse at all times.

Because I’m such a palette girl- I had to include this one. The It Cosmetics Naturally Pretty Vol 1 Matte Luxe Transforming Eye Shadow Palette (full review here!) is such an easy pick. It isn’t even that I love mattes (which I do!) but that they are so creamy. I don’t reach for it as much as my palettes mixed with shimmers & such but when I do I love what I end up with. & the Transforming Pearl shade inside is a game changer too. Here I’m wearing Soulful all over my lid with All Heart in my crease. All Heart might be my favorite shade in the palette…I use it a ton. Love is my transition shade & under my brow while Sheer Joy is in my inner corner. I used the Transforming Pearl in my inner corner & below my browbone lightly. Normally you will see me wearing much more dramatic colors but having a soft, go-to look is so important. & I don’t limit this to any one season either because I can switch up my blushes, lip colors, etc. to change things up.

Although not the most noticeable items…this is where I’m going to breakdown some of my top favorites you’ve seen in many photos but I might not have mentioned. My favorite liquid eyeliner for years is the Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner in Black. I have bad allergies for most of the year that include red, watery eyes which tends to pulverize eyeliners across the board. This liner doesn’t feather, stays put, & is super black which I love. I also have it in a dark brown which is also a favorite. For mascara I always reach for an eyelash curler first…always. I rarely wear falsies so I try to really point this out. As a base mascara to help coat my curly corner lashes & the gaps I like the Covergirl Clump Crusher Mascara in Very Black. Afterwards I reach for the Tarte Lights, Camera, Flashes Statement Mascara in Black  (review & demo here!)which seems to really help build up my lashes overall. I get some flaking here & there but I tend to get that anyway. On my brows is the It Cosmetics Brow Power Universal Eyebrow Pencil (review here!) which I always ALWAYS travel with. On my cheeks is another favorite obviously- the Benefit Rockateur Blush which kind of has a built in inner glow. You can see more about this blush here!
