Confession time… I bought the Stila Not So Nude Palette within a set called the Stila Natural Born Bombshell Set…which is unfortunately no longer available. I know I’m super late to this review & shame on me! BUT the excellent thing about this set is that everything inside is still available…so take that as you will! I love Stila products normally so when I found the photos I thought were lost on a missing card I knew I wanted to share ASAP! Although this is a neutral palette that is great for year round- this is definitely going to get use from me this fall! Keep reading to check it out!
So when I bought this palette it came in the Stila Natural Born Bombshell set which included the Not So Nude Palette, Smudge Stick Waterproof Eye liners in Stingray & Lionfish, & the Lip Glaze in Lychee. While I’m not a major fan of the Lip Glazes, I am a huge fan of the Smudge Sticks. I have more than anyone would need & they haven’t dried out on me at all. Super creamy, intense colors (check out this review of a favorite bright shade!), & when they set they don’t budge on me. I can even use them in my waterline!
So at its core this palette is neutral besides the purple shade. What I dig about it is the mix of textures, tones, & a giant Stila Kitten which is excellent as both an eyeshadow & on the face. There is a small-ish mirror (not pictured) but this is overall very compactly slim. The directions are a cute touch but I’ll always take more mirror!
The products in the palette ( & two liners & lippie from above are also swatched) are very nice in texture. Overall very blendable & I didn’t have fallout issues really. Pigmenation is nice but works much better with a base/primer to cling to.
Top row we have Sugar (shimmer/metallic), Fawn (shimmer), & Barefoot (shimmer). On the end is Kitten.
Bottom row is Buff (matte), Mink (matte on the eye), & Dolce (metallic). On the end is the Stila Convertable Color for Lips & Cheeks in Lily which contains shimmer but looks more dewy than glitzy.
Overall I’m really happy with this palette. It is very slim, has a nice mix of neutrals with a plum that brings out my eye color, & I love the face products. Lily is something I really like stippled on my cheeks for a natural glow & Kitten…well it is famous for a reason! I have a lot of Stila palettes & this one is another hit for me personally. The Stila Not So Nude Palette retails for only $20 from Ulta.
What are your favorite products from Stila? Have you picked up any neutral palettes recently? Have your eye on a few?
