If you’ve ever been into a Sephora or watched a youtube video- you’ve likely heard of Becca highlighters. They carry other pretty amazing products (I have my eye on those eyeshadows y’all) but their highlighters put them on the map in a huge way. Quite awhile back- I reveiwed two of my favorite powder highlighters from Becca here. But these poured highlighters? Just wow. Keep reading to check out the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Poured Crème Highlighters in Moonstone, Topaz, Pearl, Rose Gold, & Opal.
“Looking for an easy soft glow? Shimmering Skin Perfector® Poured Crème Highlighter will give you an elegant, radiant glow in a pinch. It’s the best choice for a low-maintenance highlight that is travel- and fingertip-friendly. Inspired by the delicate, flattering glow of moonlight, this unique, lustrous formula uses ultra-fine, pigmented pearls to create an easy, subtle luminosity. Tap it onto the highpoints of the face for a sophisticated, gentle glow. The incredibly rich yet smooth, creamy formula, brings light and lift to your best features, while smoothing skin for a youthful glow. The sheer, creamy texture makes it effortless to apply—and you can never go overboard.”
Let’s talk basics- this is a cream highlighter. I wish it said that in the name because whenever I mention it on instagram live or snapchat- you guys ask what poured is. If you’re familiar with the Becca highlighters then this falls in the middle. The pressed powder highlighters (see here) are ultra pigmented & more dense. The perfector liquids (see here) are more mixable, more sheer, & lighter coverage. So where do the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Poured Highlighters fall for me? Right in the middle! This is more pigmented than the liquids but with a more natural sheen than the powders. In short- this is an amazing balance. I’ll talk more about application with my swatches!

From left to right we have the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Poured Crème Highlighters in the shades Pearl, Moonstone, Opal, Rose Gold, & Topaz. They were all swatched on bare skin with a clean finger. Obviously I wear them significantly more sheer- but swatches like this let you see the different tones & compare shades a bit easier!
I’m quite fair (ha- I mean super pale) but I still manage to wear every shade somehow. Because they’re all truly gorgeous. Topaz is obviously a bit tough to pull off for me as a highlight but I do apply it under a neutral blush sometimes for extra long wear. The bliss of this texture knows no bounds. Want a heavy dose? Go to town. Want more sheer coverage? It can easier do that too. I really love a duofiber blush to apply & I sometimes even use a larger concealer brush! The shimmer diffuses beautifully. In fact- this is one of the only highlighters I ever wear when I’m on my way out the door with just mascara & lipstick. It goes right on over my moisturizer with my fingertips & blends like a dream. No weird texture or dryness- & doesn’t accentuate my dry areas or spots.
You can purchase Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Poured Crème Highlighters from Sephora, ULTA, Becca on Amazon, Cult Beauty, & of course the Becca website here.
