If you love highlighter- then you’ve likely heard of the Urban Decay Naked Illuminated Highlighter Trio Palette which is limited edition this season. People are falling hard on one side or the other but I have found a way to use it that I really enjoy! Keep reading to check out swatches & my thoughts!
Urban Decay introduces Naked Illuminated Trio for a gorgeous allover glow. This limited-edition set features three shades of Naked Illuminated Shimmering Powder for Face and Body, a lightweight, baked powder with a sophisticated, microfine shimmer. Each shade is infused with light-reflecting particles that will leave your skin with a radiant look. Just dust on these smooth, silky powders wherever you want to create an instant glow—for a radiant Naked look from head to toe.
The packaging on this palette is a thick cardboard- I know some people will hate that. I personally don’t mind it. One concern is how much excess space there is but in actual use I find that handy. When I’m using a fluffy brush I like to have space between the shades. Inside the palette you have three baked highlighting shades & a double-ended brush. The mirror is also a nice size.
Urban Decay Baked Highlighter in Pyrite- a shimmering golden champagne bronze. This one has more pigment than the other three.
Urban Decay Baked Highlighter in Oasis- this marbled highlighter is a very frosty, sparse, fine glitter with a neutral tone.
Urban Decay Baked Highlighter in Twilight- a baked sparkling iridescent pink with a touch of underlying warmth.
Swatches left to right done lightly with a finger on bare skin Urban Decay Baked Highlighters in Pyrite, Oasis, & Twilight.

So how do I usually wear this palette? I actually tend to wear it as a body highlight! Because Oasis is more glittery I don’t usually wear it on my face because I have been having some texture on my cheeks. But the shade Pyrite is a gorgeous bronzed shade! With a light hand I can actually get away with this even though I’m so pale & it blends beautifully. Of all three shades, however, Twilight is definitely my favorite. I absolutely love the pink shimmer on both the body & my cheeks! I’ve even used it in my inner corners for brightening.
The Urban Decay Naked Illuminated Highlighter Trio Palette is currently available on the Urban Decay website, ULTA, & from Sephora. It is limited edition so be sure to snap it up while you can!
