Recently I asked you guys which palettes you were most interested in seeing first- & the Viseart Dark Mattes #04 was a standout! Which is perfect timing! I definitely have a review coming up soon but I wanted to share this eyeshadow look I’ve repeated quite a few times recently during fall. Because-oranges!!! Keep reading to check out more photos & see which shades I used!
From Sephora: These dramatic, rich shades add an extra depth of color to any eye look. Navies and wines add definition to a smoky eye, while rich browns and oranges deepen golden and champagne eye looks.
For this look I reached for the obvious 4 shades in the bottom right shown above. I used the two brighter shades in the middle row on the center of my lid. The bottom two shades I used in my crease to define. I did have to reach into another palette for a highlight though! I used my Urban Decay Naked Ultimate Basics which I reviewed here! It is also an all-matte palette!
Here’s a closer shot- but for some reason it looks more saturated? Not sure why! Otherwise I hope you can see how easily these blended while still holding onto their pigmentation. I really love the outcome!
I paired one of my absolute favorite lip products with this eyeshadow look! This is the Smashbox Always On Matte Liquid Lipstick in Thrill Seeker. It is such a POP! I’m waiting to gather up some more shades before I review the line but sneak peek- I’m obsessed!
Have you tried the Viseart Eyeshadow Palettes yet? Which is your favorite? Any other looks using the Matte Darks you’d like to see featured?
