I’m so into these soft, romantic shades lately. Palettes are my favorite go-to for eye looks especially so I was excited to get this purple-based palette with delicate tones. Makeup Revolution is a newer brand to my collection but I can see it quickly taking over. They’re a UK based company that I coveted on blogs & videos across the pond for ages! Keep reading to check out why this palette a lovely new addition to my stash!

Makeup Revolution’s Romantic Smoked Redemption Eyeshadow Palette is a perfect mix of pearl, shimmer and matte shades. The best reason to be late for date night! Flirty peaches, seductive plums, and alluring greys will give your eyes the Romantic Smoked-out look you crave.

So what makes this palette a bargain? How about the $7 price tag? The Makeup Revolution line is available from ULTA here in the states & if you’re familiar with the store then you probably know where I’m going with this…sales! & points to gain! They actually have tons of products (I showed off this vampy lip color here in case you missed it!) & I’m planning to get more!

Inside this particular palette you have 12 eyeshadows in varying finishes. You also have a double ended applicator…but sadly it doesn’t come with a mirror to work with. This doesn’t exactly break my heart because at least one of my other items to travel with would have one if I needed it desperately. The shades in this palette feel quite secure despite the palette being plastic. The one thing I wish this palette did have is shade names since that makes it easier to use in tutorials & explain.

These shades are on bare skin without primer. I honestly don’t have an issue with fallout & although some of these shades don’t look ultra-pigmented, they do blend & build up well. There really isn’t a color missing here to create a look either- you have a matte selection, shimmer, & metallics. & the color palate really makes sense here!
