I am still incredibly in love with my Lorac Pro Palette (full review here!). It made my yearly favorites (check them out here!) but it is so much more than that. Many of my go-to shades are in this palette & they really work for me. When the 2nd palette came out I was also immensely excited. Like more than a normal person should be about a palette? I picked this up quite awhile ago but I really wanted to use the heck out of it before reviewing…& now I have! Get ready because my Lorac Pro 2 Eyeshadow Palette review is right here right now!
Like the original Lorac Pro Palette, this palette contains 16 shades. The top row contains matte shades & the bottom row is shimmer/metallic options. The packaging is ultra-slim & is priced at $42 which is really reasonable compared to other brands. You get decent shade variation although this is definitely more of an everyday option for me than a pop of color palette. There are some gorgeous non-neutral shades here as well which I’ll talk about more below! This palette is described as cool-toned but I actually disagree in general. Plus when comparing the two Lorac Pro Palettes you don’t get a lot of overlapping in the shades either which I appreciate although Black is a duplicate. Like the prior palette you also receive a deluxe mini of the Lorac Behind the Scenes Eye Primer which I actually really like.
Top row- Buff, Lt. Brown, Cool Gray, Nectar, Plum, Navy, Charcoal, & Black.
Bottom row- Snow,Beige, Rose, Mocha, Chrome, Silver, Jade, & Cocoa.
Top Row- Buff is a light yellow-based beige matte, Lt. Brown is a muted brown matte, Cool Gray is a cool-toned gray taupe matte, & Nectar is a soft peach matte.
Bottom Row- Plum is a soft plum-based purple matte, Navy is a brightened dark navy blue matte, Charcoal is a medium warm gray matte, & Black is a matte black..
Top Row- Snow is a brightened frosty white, Beige is a warm peachy beige with a frosted finish, Rose is a copper metallic with rose gold tones, & Mocha is a red-toned muted brown with a shimmer/metallic finish.
Bottom Row- Chrome is a medium taupe metallic, Silver is a medium metallic silver, Jade is an olive-based deepened forest green with warm tones, & Cocoa is a rich red-based brown with a semi-matte finish.
I decided to take some of my favorite neutrals & put them into this look since every single pop of color shade is insanely gorgeous. I plan to use those in looks later on! Because neutrals are pretty common I wanted to show why I dig these so much! For this look I used Nectar, Rose, Cool Gray, Chrome, Beige, & Buff. I love all of these shades! Oddly enough my most used is probably Nectar because it is the most stunning transition & blending shade!
You can purchase the Lorac 2 Palette from the Lorac website, ULTA, Amazon, Kohls, & wherever Lorac cosmetics are sold. This palette is a permanent addition…& maybe they’ll come out with a third? I hope they bring out some more like the Lorac Mega Pro Palette (full review here!) which I loved!
Do you own any of the Lorac palettes? Which is your favorite? What shades would you like to see tutorials using?
