So Beauty Box 5 was kind enough to send two full sized Aveeno products for me to try & I’m always excited to share Aveeno with people. I have itchy, allergy prone skin. I know this isn’t pretty but there you have it. There are weeks where I can only use something fragrance free because I’m having an allergic or stress reaction so I always have to have something like that on hand. I also have eczema & although I usually know it is coming on by my undereyes I also end up with patches on my arms. It is embarassing & frankly makes me sick to think about. I really hate it.

So when I’m having a crazy week like above I start switching out products which is why it can sometimes take me awhile to review certain skin/body/hair products. Out goes the new & in comes the fabulously reliable products. One of those since like 7th grade (wow, Aveeno & I have been having an affair for a long time!) is definitely the Aveeno Active Naturals Daily Moisturizing Lotion. In fact, my parents (both of which have skin irritation, eczema, or arthritus) both use Aveeno products so I’ve had Aveeno products sprinkled throughout both my childhood home & my own. Fragrance free lotion, soothing oatmeal for my allergic reactions, & it doesn’t leave my skin feeling irritated or greasy which is amazing. I honestly can’t say enough good things about this lotion…in fact I had better stop because I’m trying to convince you to buy it & if you haven’t gotten the point yet…well just try it!

The Aveeno Active Naturals Positively Nourishing Calming Body Wash is new to me & contains Lavender, Chamomile, & Ylang-ylang for a seriously soothing bath or shower. I’ve been looking for something like this that smells calming for night time but that isn’t full of fragrance that will give me a headache. This body wash is the perfect mix, lightly scented while not being overbearing. The body wash lathers nicely & doesn’t leave my skin tight at all so it has moisturizers for my normal to dry skin. I also found that using a cap or two in the tub for a calming bath was just enough scent to be soothing without making my head pound. Definitely a new favorite!
