So I would like this time to say to you, I already love these. I reviewed the core shades in the black tubes & half of the new Kate Moss Matte Lipsticks for Rimmel. Although those were lovely, I finally found the other 5 & have given them a test drive. I know a lot of you also like these so I am excited to show you the richer half!
The first half of this new line had a whole lot of pinks. I love pink, really I do. However I wanted the shade she was wearing in the display (FYI it is shade # 107 I think but it looked a bit darker on the displays) & a bit more color. Got them. I really did. I won’t go over the packaging & such much because I covered all of that here but I did need to address something I somehow forgot in the 1st post. The scent of this line is very tropical tutti fruitti esque. If you don’t like scents, these might not be fore you. I don’t mind them & they actually smell quite nice to me but this has never been a concern for me.
102: A sweet medium true pink. Compared to the other pinks in this range this is pinker than 104, brighter than 101, & less rosy than 102.
105: A pink toned nude with a slight satin like sheen. If you like the Revlon Lip Butter in Pink Truffle, you’ll love this.
107: Super rich purple plum. This has great pigmentation, especially for a darker shade.
110: A hot red/orange coral shade. I love this & I think it makes me dream of summer. I can’t get this to look right except in the very first photo, sorry guys.
111 Kiss of Life: A warm medium red. So why the heck did this shade get a name when all the others are all pathetic & nameless? If someone knows…please enlighten me!
As always…I love this line. Fabulous, I urge you to check out past swatches & be prepared to see me wearing these…a lot. What do you think of this half? What shades would you like to see in this affordable matte drugstore line? You should be able to snag these shades at CVS & Walgreens. I think they have them other places but that is where I have spotted them here!
