My skin has been going through some funky phases lately. I’ve been trying some new skincare products & some just haven’t worked. Or worse- did damage. Plus I got a facial recently so I’m dealing with the chemical peel aftermath. Basically- my skin has been needing lots of extra TLC. I was sent the LXMI Pure Nilotica Melt awhile back but had put it to the side. But now…well keep reading to see what I think!
A deeply nourishing overnight treatment to hydrate dry, damaged skin and smooth visible imperfections with 100 percent organic Nilotica Reserve™ from the Nile Valley. LXMI sources Nilotica Reserve from low-income women in the Nile Valley, paying them three times local wages for each harvest, as a means of alleviating global poverty.
So I’ve tried TONS of balms over the years. I mean- there’s no wait to even begin to start counting. But my skin often just reacts ok to things. Not outstanding. So when something comes along I’m really impressed with- I’m itching to share with you guys! I’m pretty convinced this has been healing up my difficult areas on my face. It has “over 25 percent more essential fatty acids versus traditional beauty oils” which is exactly what harshly dry areas need.
In expert grader analyses on 28 subjects, 24 hours:
– 100% of testers showed an immediate improvement in skin brightness and hydration
– 96% of testers showed an immediate improvement in visible fine lines, wrinkles, skin texture, and smoothness
– 96% of testers sustained improved skin hydration even 8 hours after application
– 86% of testers sustained improved skin hydration even 24 hours after application
The numbers drew me in- that’s why I agreed to accept a sample int he first place. Another big draw was the lack of fillers & the fact that is just a single, rare, cold-pressed miracle ingredient. That’s it. Simple. While I often reach for products packed with super ingredients- there is something so incredibly appealing about trying products that lean more natural.
I have been using this both as a lip treatment with the metal applicator & around on my eczema. I also have a dry, painful patch on my cheek from the chemical peel that this was perfect for. Super soothing, non-irritating, perfectly moisturizing, & you really don’t need very much either! I’m loving that I know it doesn’t have anything excessive to irritate my already sensitive areas. I’ve actually used it on an eczema spot on my shoulder as well. The more I use it, the more I wish I’d had it during our harsh winter as well!
You can purchase the LXMI Pure Nilotica Melt on Sephora here & their website here. I’m already eyeing a backup!
Have you tried this magical balm? What do you think of those impressive stats? What do you look for in more natural beauty products?
