This is the time of year when my skin is just angry. I never tire of the dryness of my natural skin- it charges on. I call myself a “connoisseur of body products” because I’m always buying & trying new items to battle the cold weather this time of year. Today I’m sharing two products from Farmhouse Fresh in the Marshmallow Melt scent…spoiler alert….they smell fantastic. Keep reading to find out more!
How about we start with the body lotion! This is the FHF (Farmhouse Fresh) Marshmallow Melt Shea Butter Body Cream & it is seriously fantastical. & yes- that word does apply. I was honestly super concerned this scent might not be a good fit for me in case it was too overly sweet. The fragrance is actually a lot more balanced & has kind of a mix of tonka marshmallow, pink sugar, & a touch of sandalwood. Honey, I’m in love. The texture is very whipped & not super thick. It isn’t a thick, butter texture but it perfect to apply right out of the shower when I need to throw clothes on. I also love the pump & the actual glass bottle makes this lotion a lot more luxe.
& now we need to talk about the Farmhouse Fresh Marshmallow Melt All-Purpose Shea Butter Balm because I can’t stop using it. I need to buy at least 5 because I actually stomped my foot (like a cartoon!) when I couldn’t find mine yesterday after leaving it in my purse! I take my balms very seriously! This formula is 99% natural & would be vegan except it contains beeswax. My skin has always loved beeswax & since it also contains pure shea, cocoa, & mango butters it is super nourishing. It is kind of solid looking in the tin (especially in the cold weather!) but it immediately melds into my skin. This is one of those all-purpose type products but I’m absolutely addicted to using it on my eczema on my hands, arms, & neck. It doesn’t irritate my skin & really soothes the dryness! Plus it is a dream for the back of my hands after working & typing all day- my knuckles have never looked better!
