If there is one thing I invest in for my hair more than anything else… it is definitely oils! My hair has reacted so incredibly well to them that it has become a mandatory part of my routine. I recently have been trying out three variation from Madam C.J.Walker & am incredibly impressed! Keep reading to see what to expect & which is my favorite!
Madam C.J. Walker Beauty Culture Scent & Shine Jamaican Black Castor Oil: A nutrient-rich, ultra-restorative hair oil that hydrates dry curls and scalp, while refreshing with a hint of amber and warm musk.
This particular oil targets hair that is more curly & coiled than mine. It is perfect if you need a heavier oil to intensely hydrate while defining. It also promises to be refreshing between hair washes. I’m personally not a warm scent gal but I know a lot of ladies will fall in love with this one! I’ve found using it as a deep treatment overnight & washing out the next morning when my hair is super dry is really wonderful!
Madam C.J. Walker Beauty Culture Scent & Shine Coconut Oil: A lightweight, multitasking hair oil that softens hair, adds shine, and fights frizz, all while refreshing with a medley of woods, coconut, and sweet vanilla.
This oil is so up my alley! It is perfect for all hair types & has a fantastic scent that I can’t get enough of. It is very nourishing but not too heavy. It also absorbs more quickly than many oils! I’m a HUGE coconut oil fan & this one claims to “naturally refined so that it retains the benefits of the solid, but remains liquid at room temperature for easy, smooth application.” This is perfection for my hair so far! I can’t wait to break it out in the summer as well as it smells divine!
Madam C.J. Walker Beauty Culture Scent & Shine Brassica Seed Oil: A lightweight hair oil that smooths and provides brilliant shine for heat-styled hair, while refreshing with spun sugar and red velvet cream.
Last but certainly not least is the sweetest oil of all! It may have sweet notes but it isn’t overwhelming at all so don’t be afraid! Again- this oil is for all hair types but I notice it adding more smoothness. “Brassica Seed Oil is a natural alternative to silicone” so imagine the luxurious silicone feeling without all the bleck. I tend to reach for this one more when I’m heat styling.
You can purchase these oils & many more styling products from Madam C.J. Walker from Sephora.
