Spring Beauty Picks that Bring the Luxury Feeling

I feel like spring has finally sprung! Ryan brought home the most beautiful flowers this week & I felt that buzz of spring in our house truly for the first time this year. Unfortunately it quickly turns to summer here in Las Vegas so I have to soak it up while I can! I’m loving the emerging pastels, blooming perfumes, & especially the soft prints. Today I’m sharing some of my picks for spring- all of them gorgeous & luxe feeling! Keep reading to check them out!

For me, the first step in a good day is a bath. Don’t laugh at me! The bath is my me-time & I like it to be as relaxing as possible. Village Naturals is a newer brand to me & has a lovely lavender scent in their line. If you follow me on Home in High Heels or Snapchat at Stephlouiseatb then you probably already know I’m into aromatherapy & essential oils. The Pure Lavender Essential Oil is so relaxing & I can place a few small drops in my bath or oil diffuser which I adore. It is free of synthetic ingredients & their oils are 100% pure, therapeutic-grade essential oils. If you are a fizzy lover like me then you need to check out the Calm Lavender + Chamomile Double Butter Bath Bombs! They are aromatic & ultra-moisturizing with nourishing shea & cocoa butters. & they’re infused with essential oils and extracts of lavender + chamomile with an antioxidant-rich blend of vitamin C & E for that spa experience at home.

After I get out of the bath I always focus on my skin. I feel like my pores are open & ready to be treated! I always follow up with some kind of mask or exfoliant because my skin really responds well to the TLC. If I’m going to apply makeup I tend to go with something that won’t be too abrasive like the European Wax Center Reveal Me Face. This gel is naturally derived fruit enzymes eliminate dry, dull surface cells & helps to support natural cell turnover. It leaves my skin feeling so soft & smooth but isn’t harsh at all. My makeup definitely applies better! When my skin is really congested & needs something a bit more intense a treatment like the Dr. Brandt Microdermabrasion Facial Cream is in order. It is an exfoliating cream that you massage onto clean, damp skin & polishes away dead,dull skin. I really only need to use this once a week although you can use it twice if need be!

Then in walks my beloved multi-use product- the Vita Coco Coconut Oil! This oil is 100% organic, unrefined, cold pressed, virgin coconut oil. I use it EVERYWHERE! Ha! I have coconut oil everywhere from the living room to the bath to the kitchen. Cooking, hair, skincare, body care…even on my poor boxer mix who gets dry skin! If you think coconut oil is all “hype” I urge you to give it a shot! After I do some exfoliation I tend to follow-up with coconut oil because I find it really penetrates my skin & heals.

& last up is the beauty items! For spring I always think of “fresh” looks. I love a bit of glow but steer away from bronzer & gravitate more towards healthy pinks. For a pretty highlight, look to the European Wax Center Oh My Brow! Brow Highlighter. This is a soft highlighting illuminator perfect for along the brow bone & above the arch. There’s a blending sponge on the end as well for a flattering pearl color. The other two products pictured are the Butter™ London Plush Rush Lip Gloss in First Kiss & the Plush Rush Lipstick in Fab. I love the lipstick for the weighty, magnetic feel. The texture is so incredibly smooth, cushion-y, & full color with a lovely wear time. This shade in particular is a dusty rose with a soft finish. The lipgloss is a stunner- it really provides fullness with the plumping effect & this shade is perfectly fresh for spring.
