Luxury lip products aren’t always perfect but I’ve come up with some of my absolute favorites that I think are definitely worth the splurge! As I’ve been going through my stash to move I’ve been coming up on some lippies that I love & others that just weren’t right for me. Nothing hurts worse then throwing away money on something you just couldn’t get to be a favorite. Now you won’t have to! Keep reading to see my top picks!
For this collection, I really wanted to focus on lipsticks- not glosses. I did include one that is a colored balmy texture but…I mean rules were made to be broken right? I also chose some based on my favorite colors out of the line & I tried not to overlap brands. Variety is the spice of life!
Dior Lip Glow Color Reviver Balm– This balm is designed to be sheer & enhance your natural lip color. It took me awhile to warm up to it- isn’t this just like a lip balm? The answer is no! It might not look like anything spectacular in swatches but on the lips it gives the most beautiful heightened lip color. It is also moisturizing & beautifully packaged. This is the perfect shade for a more natural look! I have the pink shade but it also comes in coral.
Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Sculpting Lipstick in Potent– If you’ve read any of my posts about these lipsticks (check out my reviews & swatches here & here!) then you know I’m smitten. Potent is the shade I selected to show because it was one of the first I purchased & the color I still reach for most often! This color is a soft slightly peach/nude toned creamy pink & goes with pretty much everything! These lipsticks are all super creamy, ultra pigmented, & crazy comfortable to wear. I find myself purchasing shade after shade!
Too Faced Melted Lipstick in Melted Chihuahua– Funny shade name- stunning shade! This dusty mauve was love at first swatch & the entire Melted lipstick line is stunning. You’ll fall in love with one or more shades if you love pigmentation, long wear time, & a nice variety of shades! Another shade I’m completely in love with is the Melted Metal shade in Peony which has gorgeous shimmer & a bit more sheer coverage!
Butter London Moisture Matte Lipstick in Ruby Murray– Ever run into a shade that is traditionally more seasonal but you find yourself wearing it all year? That’s how I feel about Ruby Murray! I reviewed a ton of the Butter London Moisture Matte Lipstick shades here & am still enjoying them immensely! These are super smooth mattes with awesome pigmentation! Some of my other favorite shades are Macbeth & Abbey Rose!
It Cosmetics CC+ Blurred Lines Lipstick in Love– This shade is a sheer mauve-rose shade that has stolen my heart. I think this is a specialty shade because you can’t buy it everywhere but I urge you to seek it out! This formula is so comfortable, glossy, & they have naturally pretty shades! I need more!

Charlotte Tilbury K.I.S.S.I.N.G Lipstick in Stoned Rose– This lipstick is divine- the packaging alone means you need one! The formula is a special blend of waxes and light-diffusing pigments which leaves lips looking perfect. Stoned Rose in particular is a lovely nude-based rose that just looks so sophisticated when applied. I’m head over heels!
Tarte LipSurgence Matte Lip Tint in Hope– This is a longtime favorite! The Tarte LipSurgence Matte line has a soft, velvety-matte finish & the jumbo crayon makes it super easy to apply. These are comfortable as well! The shade Hope is a muted rosy color that I just can’t get enough of- the perfect my lips but better matte shade! & also a top seller from the brand!
Laura Mercier Paint Wash Liquid Lip Color in Red Brick– This demi-matte formula has a precise applicator & ultra lightweight feel I can’t help but love! This shade in Red Brick is my favorite of the two I own because it is a red with lots of control. It is long-wearing & really great for sensitive lips since it is D5-free & formulated without fragrance or alcohol.
YSL Rouge Volupte Lip Color in #9 Caress Pink– In my opinion, this is the ultimate icon of a luxury lip product. The weighted gold packaging & gorgeous array of shades from
