March is basically over? Apparently? I’m not exactly sure how that happened since these 31-day months usually feel like they take forever! Either way, I’m happy about it! April is my month since it is my birthday, my mom’s birthday, & when I tend to put away the heavy snow gear. Because this is likely our last winter with legitimate snow since we move back to Las Vegas in a few month. Basically we’re jumping for joy- not snow people we quickly learned. So that’s also a favorite!
Whew! Okay back on topic! I skipped last month in my favorites rotation because I honestly didn’t have anything new or that I’d been using enough to count. I’m picky when it comes to favorites! This month I have some older favorites & quite a few new ones! I have all beauty favorites but I’ve been toying with the idea of doing lifestyle favorites on my other blog Home in High Heels…would you guys be interested in that?
Sally Hansen Instant Cuticle Remover– My cuticles are an absolute mess lately. I’m not sure if it because the winter is fading out or what but I have really needed to give them every bit of extra TLC. This cuticle remover is a gel & is so easy to apply it is ridiculous.
Milani Bella Eyes Gel Powder Eyeshadow in Bella Champagne– This was one of my favorites when I reviewed the entire range here & sometimes she just lives on my vanity. & is awesome. I love the color & it just fits in with about every look to help brighten up my tired-looking eyes lately.
Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Eye Color in Orchid & Sugar Frost– I’ve reviewed these & even did a makeup tutorial using the shade Orchid because they’re just so lovely. Beautiful pigmentation, nice wear-time, & just a luxuriously creamy feel to them. I need even more shades than I already have!
Sun Bum Pro Face Stick 30– Think it is too early to be breaking out the sunblock? Well then you’re just plain wrong! & likely not as pale as me? Either way this stick is seriously handy & doesn’t break out my skin or irritate me at all. Plus I can just throw it in my bag.
It Cosmetics Velvet Luxe 310 Precision Complexion Brush– This brush comes to a pointed tip that is just…the easiest way to get to the facial details. I mean it- I haven’t found anything like it! Check out my full look at these new It Cosmetics brushes in my comprehensive blog post here.
Lorac Pro 2 Palette– Definitely my favorite palette lately! I did a full review here so you can see all the shades– I’m obsessed with the kind of rose-y toned lighter shades the past week though!
It Cosmetics Live Beautifully #206 Buffing Mineral Powder Brush– Because my skin has been rejecting makeup, buffing is now more important than ever. Full post on these new brushes here.
L’Occitane Whipped Shea Hand Cream– Like my cuticles, my hands are just dry as dirt. Because my eyes are also itchy beyond belief (thanks allergies!) I have been using less fragranced things on my hands since they will be all up in my face. Check out my review of this line here.
It Cosmetics CC+ Cream– Because this isn’t on my favorites almost every month right? Get used to her- she’s glorious. Coverage, comfortable, & seriously the finish I dream of. Check out my full review & demo here.
It Cosmetics Velvet Luxe Soft Focus Sculpting 315 Brush– Want to apply blush or contour like a boss? Then go feel up this brush. You need to. Seriously. Do it. Check out my full review here.
Scentbird Perfume Service– I like the fragrance I got (read which fragrance I chose & the full review of the service here!) but the true gem here is the idea behind it! The packaging is handy, sleek, & I am seriously excited to try the fragrance I picked for my birthday month (April 7th!) since I haven’t been able to find it in stores.
Stila Stay All Day Vinyl Lip Gloss in Poppy Vinyl– I reviewed this red recently & just have fallen in love throughout the month. This color automatically makes my look more interesting & fun without being any work at all. & this formula is telling me I need more! Check out my review here.
It Cosmetics Heavenly Luxe #14 Radiance Wand- When I reviewed the recent It Cosmetics TSV I got to show off this brush! I’m not sure if I really went in-depth enough though because this brush is seriously pulling rank on the rest of my collection for applying face products. This is kind of similar in shape to the infamous Marc Jacobs Bronze Brush #12 (seriously this brush is crazy expensive!).
Demeter Fragrance in Orchid– I showed you guys a ton of Demeter fragrances but after having a dreary winter Orchid has been just lovely. I’ve almost been using it as a room/furniture spray just for a bit of spring.
KBShimmer Nail Polish in Sweet Egg-scape– I can’t stop talking about this shade! I reviewed it here & did nail art with it here. It has all the best glitter pieces!
Zoya Nail Polish in Rayne- This shade hasn’t gone up on the blog yet but I’ve been wearing it anyway. Because it makes me feel like Elsa. Basically.
So what are you feeling going into spring? Any products here on your wishlist or favorites? Anything you want to see this month? Tell me all about it in the comments!
