This post is pretty exciting for me to finally be writing! I’ve been trying out a new skincare tool (for those that don’t know I did an entire series on the Clarisonic in the past!) & it really is a bargain. For the longest time I’ve wanted a Foreo Luna but was never able to get my hands on one & justify the cost. I’d seen some really excellent reviews from blogging friends so it stayed on my list & on my mind. Recently I was asked to try the MelodySusie® Sonic Facial Cleansing Brush & couldn’t help but notice the similarities…keep reading to check it out!

Clearly this brush isn’t quite as well-touted as the popular Foreo Luna…but hopefully you can see the distinct characteristics that make this similar. Personally- after handling the Luna in a demo…I think I actually prefer the MelodySusie brush which I wasn’t expecting. I love my Clarisonic for deeper cleansing & exfoliation but over the years I’ve found I can’t use it daily. Because my skin is already dry & somewhat-sensitive this brush just seems to be a better match for daily use!
The basics of this brush are simple- the button in the middle turns it on. On either side you have a + or – & those make the cleansing pulses stronger or softer. This thing can go really high or low which is great if you don’t know what works for you yet to or to change up on different areas of the face. The base will light up as you adjust it. Because of the shape & material it is super easy to change speeds & such even with soap in your eyes- voice of experience here.
I still do normal exfoliation through the week a few times as needed but the MelodySusie® Sonic Facial Cleansing Brush is definitely helping to get my skin cleaner. Sometimes when I cleanse with oils (which I LOVE to do) I find that my skin takes longer to wash but this just isn’t the case with this tool. I actually think I completely prefer this shape to the Foreo Luna as well- the curve just makes it feel more comfortable to hold. I love that it has two “scrubbing” sides as well. I use the front for my sensitive areas on my face & the other around my hairline & neck where I can handle a bit more.
Like the Foreo Luna, the MelodySusie® Sonic Facial Cleansing Brush is charged up to use with a sealed/waterproof area but this one comes with a cord that can hook into my computer or an adaptable plug. That’s a plus for me since I honestly have like zero availible outlets in my house because…I like to have lights basically everywhere. One downside to the MelodySusie® Sonic Facial Cleansing Brush is that you can’t use it while it is charging but a charge lasts long enough that it doesn’t really bother me.
So am I happy with my MelodySusie® Sonic Facial Cleansing Brush? I think I pretty much answered that right? It helps get my face cleaner, is easy to use, doesn’t need to be replaced, & on top of all of that is less than 1/4 what the Foreo Luna I’ve been wanting to buy costs! I honestly could ask for much more! You can also get it in blue if this pink isn’t your thing.
You can purchase the MelodySusie® Sonic Facial Cleansing Brush for only $39.99 & it even qualifies for prime shipping which always sucks me in. Want an even deeper discount? For only the next few days you can use the code 3KXPSIOX for 21% off the Rose colored MelodySusie® Sonic Facial Cleansing Brush which means $8.49 off! I’ll try to get you guys as many days as I can but right now it is only good until April 5th! They even have a 6 month guarantee- so if you don’t have my results then you aren’t out the cash! What are you waiting for?
