I am such a sucker for baked eyeshadows. You can use them wet or dry so it is like getting double bang for your buck. When I went into Victoria’s Secret I was actually seeking out a newer quad but this duo won out. The packaging is really cut, I have always liked the Victoria’s Secret baked eyeshadows, & it was limited edition so I couldn’t possibly miss out…right? Keep reading to see the swatches & review!
The exterior packaging on this baby is actually really cute. You have copper ropes creating an outline against a gradient blue background with a tinge of holo to it. Plus, a peek window so you can see what shade your buying & that it hasn’t been tampered with. Cheers to that.
On the back of the box:
Welcome to paradise, Bombshell. Dive into the glamorous life. Complementary shade duo for a custom eye look. Pigment-rich formula with a satiny texture drapes lids in pure color and an alluring finish.
VS TIP: For the perfect blend, wear the lighter shade all over lids, all the way up to the browbone. Wear the darker shade on lower lids, concentrating application in the crease for added depth.
You get 3 grams of product which is actually pretty descent since they are nicely pigmented & can be used wet/dry. For reference, a MAC single pan eyeshadow contains 1.5 grams for $15 & this has 3 grams for $15. The packaging the shade itself comes in is a lovely copper crinkled foil plastic packaging with a peek window. Quite striking. The packaging is more true to color in the 2nd photo, the copper was really reflective!

The lighter shade in this duo is a bare warm vanilla with blue/silver veins & golden satin shimmer. The darker shade is a very cool brown with a bit of taupe with bronze shimmer. Both i consider a satin finish & there really isn’t much fallout if any when I use them dry. None when i use them wet.
Swatches left to right: light shade dry, light shade wet, dark shade dry, dark shade wet.
Sadly this duo has sold out online so if you want to grab it you’ll need to go into your local Victoria’s Secret. They had other shades that were limited edition as well but this was the one that spoke to me. I love the packaging, the shades themselves are lovely, & I think it is a nice value. I see myself reaching for this a lot this summer.
