So I received this amazing polish in my Wantable box & normally I’d review the box then do swatches… however there was a bit of a snag & they’re replacing a product so we’re switching it up. This polish just couldn’t wait, isn’t she lovely? keep reading to see more swatches & find out about the completely new to me polish company called Rainbow Honey!

Rainbow Honey appears to be closed right now & oddly enough with my great timing they’ll be reopening tomorrow & restocked with lots of gorgeous shades which I spied on their lovely facebook page. Their products are Big 3 free & made with ingredients never tested on animals. Plus they’re made in the USA, love supporting my country! They happen to be designed & distributed in Clifton, New Jersey.

Rainbow Honey Lumine Hall- An indigo jelly-ish base packed with blue, purple, & gold shimmer then topped off with amazing square iridescent glitter. 2 coats. 1 coat of quick dry top coat. 

Here it is matte which obviously takes away the jelly-ness but I think it lets you see how playful these glitters actually are. 1 coat of Butter LONDON Matte Finish Top Coat for this. 

Overall, very happy! This is a lovely polish with an original coloring & glitter configuration. Plus, the bottle & brush were quite nice & easy to work with! I didn’t have to mess too much with glitter placement or dragging so that is always appreciated. I think I’ll be on the lookout for more Rainbow Honey shades after trying Lumine Hall…

After reviewing Lush Lacquer in Clowning Around & seriously struggling to wear any other polish like ever again…I just had to go for round 2! This is Lush Lacquer in Summer Lovin. Inspired by summer & the famous movie Grease this polish screams summer fun! Keep reading to see swatches & my thoughts!

From Lush Lacquer’s Etsy description: It has a pink jelly base with a mixture of neon glitters…we packed this polish with neon pink, orange, yellow and blue matte glitters. We also added medium size pink matte glitters for contrast.

I’m a little confused because my polish definitely look orange? I wore it here over a white base to make it pop since my nails had some staining. I see orange though…do you? Either way, gorgeous polish! I think I’ll put this on my toes next, it is just so bright & fun! This is 2 thin coats. I think I’ll wear it on its own next time or maybe layer it over pink?

So now that Christmas is passed & I feel like I’m running a bit late on these but I decided I wanted to show them off closer to New Years! This part has my favorite polish of all, Bling in the New Year! I hope you love them! Check out Part 1 of the Joyful Noise swatches + review with my favorite Christmas mix possibly of all time!

For some reason, this one was hard for me to photograph! The brown almost looks like shadows in some lighting but it actually really lovely! Definitely makes me think of warmth so it is also aptly named. This is 2 coats over bare nails & one coat over the red.

Star of Hope- This is a yellow metallic with small satin neon yellow hexes, super fine gold glitter, small yellow hex glitters, medium small hexes, & gold star glitters. Seen over bare nails except my ring finger which is butterLONDON Pillar Box Red.

I thought this would be a layering polish, thus one of my fingers having the red base, but this is definitely better on its own! I’m not a big yellow fan but this has the most dimension in a yellow I’ve ever seen. Very well thought out! I also love the addition of the star glitters, super fun! This would be a great accent nail as well!

Bling in the New Year- A clear base packed with super fine holo glitter, small bright blue glitter, small holo glitter, medium silver glitter, & medium blue glitter. All glitters are hexes except the superfine holo dust. Seen here over Zoya’s Natty. 

What you are looking at is glory in nail polish form. This is 2 really fine coats because I wanted to make sure you could see the galaxy like quality. Gorgeous. I love this over the dusty blue that is Zoya Natty. I highly recommend this combo! I wore this for over a week! I refused to take it off, it is holo awesomeness!

I’m SO excited to be bringing you this post today! Yes, these polishes are glorious. But another reason is the technical difficulties I’ve been experiencing lately have been ridiculous. One thing after another. I’m hoping everything is back in good working order! Now…let’s see these swatches! They’re bound to put you in the holiday spirit! Laura just makes the most gorgeous combos!

Let’s address the name change first shall we? Indeed! Nails by Laura will now be known as Joyful Noise Cosmetics! From now on, I’ll be reviewing & referring to items by this new name but I wanted to explain a bit before anyone got confused! What does this mean for you? Absolutely nothing! It’s no secret that I’ve felt limited by the name I chose when I first started almost 2 years ago, and feared I had established myself too well with that name to change it.

Snow Bulb Fight: A milky white base packed with a hidden red/orange microshimmer. The glitters in this include extra large red hexes, medium green, yellow, lavender, blue, & super light green hexes. The most abundant glitters are small hex glitters in the shades orange & purple. 2 coats over a white base.

Nargles in the Mistletoe: A clear/light green base jam packed with glitter. Medium red & green hex & square glitter with very small light blue, red, green, & silver hexes. Seen here over ButterLONDON Pillar Box Red.
