I’m a definite facial setting spray fan. I’ve tried a ton ( seriously- the empties I could refer back to!) & I’m constantly happy with results. Setting sprays always keep me coming back for more & I’m also consistently happy to see new takes on the claims. Because who doesn’t want it all, right? One of my absolute favorites is from Skindinavia & I’ve been wanting to try the Bridal version for ages! How does it stack up? Keep reading to check it out!
Skindinavia The Makeup Finishing Spray – Bridal locks in color for up to 16 hours, preventing fading, creasing and melting. The fine mist formula protects your makeup from smudges caused by tears, kisses and sweat, ensuring that it remains fresh and flawless throughout your big day. Ideal for all skin types.
One of my favorite things about this formula is that it is especially resistant to lights. If you work in a studio with hot lights or make videos yourself- you know what they do. The melting is real. Another thing that really is personal for me is my ridiculously dry skin. So. Dry. It feels like no matter what I do, you can see it. & somehow, despite that, my makeup still wears off. I have to find a balance between something that “sets” my face while not drying it out. Because…just no. I don’t need that.
So how does the Skindinavia Bridal Setting Spray stack up? Well…I love it. I thought the original was the answer to my problems & during the summer I probably will still use it…but Bridal is so my match day to day! This has a more natural finish- not quite dewy but not as “oil control” as the others either. I’m kicking myself for not trying this sooner! If you haven’t tried a setting spray but have similar skin- give this Bridal option a shot. I use it to make my eyeshadows “wet” for more opacity, spray after my makeup to set, & actually use it as my primer when I’m all out of the Skindinavia Primer Setting Spray I reviewed here. No sticky feel, no movement of my makeup, & a natural hold. Prayer answered.
You can purchase the Skindinavia Bridal Finishing Spray from Skindinavia on Amazon, Dermstore, & of course, the Skindinavia website here.
