Skincare is a big deal for me & it is one of those loves I try to spread around. It isn’t a secret that I love facial brushes- with my dry skin I dive headfirst into anything that helps exfoliate my skin! Today we’re looking at the FOREO Luna for Combination skin as that is the right fit for me. This device promises a lot of things- & I’ll be getting into all of them! The LUNA for Combination Skin’s brush surface features up to 80 percent of thinner silicone touch-points for gentle cleansing, with two additional waves of thicker touch-points for cleansing oily patches. The antiaging surface on the reverse side consists of a series of concentric silicone waves. The LUNA reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and leaves the skin looking and feeling firmer and more elastic. It removes dead skin cells and unclogs pores of dirt, oil, and makeup residue, while enhancing the absorption of the client’s favorite skincare products.
The Foreo Luna is a silicone facial brush that channels both T-sonic pulsations for deep & gentle cleansing. You also have the option of lower-frequency pulsations to reduce the signs of aging. You can see the anti-aging side is the back- right above the area where you plug it in to charge. Speaking of charging…it lasts up to 450 uses per full charg. It requires no replacement brushes & is fully waterproof as well. This facial brush is also phthalate-free & uses body-safe silicone. It also comes with a charger & a two-year warranty.
So did I get incredible results? Actually, yes I have! I’ve been using it for about 2 minutes morning & night. I first remove my makeup or skincare residue then use a more moisturizing facial cleanser. You press the middle button & can actually adjust it to lower or higher. You apply cleanser, wet your Luna, & then cleanse. Rinse as usual. Last you’re supposed to apply the device with the anti-aging side to wrinkle-prone areas- for me that is any visible lines I see since I’m young. I figure those will only get deeper! Lower-frequency pulsations are directed through concentric silicone waves onto wrinkle-prone areas to smooth the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
If you don’t have combo skin like me there’s no need to fret. The LUNA comes in 3 varieties- Combination Skin, Sensitive/Normal Skin, & Ultra-sensitive Skin. One of the biggest plus points is that you won’t need to replace any parts- no more buying brush heads or worrying about bacteria buildup! It is up to 35x more hygienic than standard sonic-cleansing brushes. I love that this isn’t too abrasive so I can use it multiple times daily without overdoing it- something I can’t say for my bristle brushes as my skin gets sensitive. The Luna unclogs pores of 99.5% of dirt & oil as well as 98.5% of makeup residue. It is safe to say this is a love-match for me & it is totally worth the investment.
