If you’re a long-time reader of my blog then you know I shout UV protection from the highest points.When cancer runs in your family & you want to end up with fabulous skin with as little aging as possible…SPF becomes your bestie. Actually it becomes your savior. So now that we’ve established all of that let’s take a look at this beautifully useful scarf from Sundriven & why I’m loving it!

The Sundriven Olivia Hooded Scarf comes in a variety of colors but this one happens to be Aqua Teal. I had big dreams to photograph in sunshine but nearly every time it would either start to rain or immediately cloud over. This weather is ridiculous. But even when it is cloudy you need SPF so don’t underestimate it! This scarf is 98% effective at blocking UVA & UVB rays which is impressive.

Sundriven has other products as well such as wraps & gloves but the fabric is the real story here. The fabric is eco-friendly, smooth, extremely comfortable, & helps with temperature control. In fact this fabric even helps with moisture- preventing any bacteria growth & absorbing 50% more moisture than cotton.

I happen to have sensitive skin & this scarf has been excellent for that. Even when damp it doesn’t alter the feeling of the fabric & it remains super soft. Sundriven® products are made with botanical fibers eliminating the risk of skin irritation. The fabric itself is made mostly of natural fibers & doesn’t contain any chemical additives. You’re left with a perfectly smooth scarf with no stiffness & lots of flexibility without feeling flimsy.

You can see it comes with a hood too! I like that the back doesn’t cover too much because I get hot when I’m driving. I like using this in the car for the added protection around my neck & chest. Who wants wrinkles there? Not me! Plus it is super comfortable. If I was on a road trip I’d consider this a must!
