Glossybox really hit it out of the park for the July 2014 box! For me this box was all about luxe products that make me feel like I’m having a spa day. Because doesn’t everyone need one of those every once in awhile? Brimming with deluxe sizes, check out what this month’s subscription box has to offer!
Inside the box this month we have 5 items- & all of them are definitely deluxe in size! In fact- this box was a crazy good value in general!
Here’s my card that came inside the box for this month with more information on each product. Feel free to click to enlarge!
GlamGlow YouthMud Tingle Exfoliate Treatment– I can’t remember a more talked about brand for masks in the past few years! These masks are pricey to be sure but they’ve definitely developed a hardcore skincare fan base. Because this one isn’t for dry skin I’ve been using this as a spot treatment. It is definitely powerful!
Philip B pH Restorative Detangling Toning Mist– This is about half a full size (which retails for $24 ) & the texture is really thin. This product is supposed to help balance the pH of tap water to the seal the cuticle of your hair for a smoother finish. Interesting. It definitely helps detangle & I especially like how weightless it is which means I can use it closer to my roots.
Mitchell and Peach Body Cream- This brand is completely new to me- & so is the scent! With pure English honey, organic cocoa, & shea butter this body cream kind of reminds me a bit of tea! It isn’t super thick so it sinks in really quickly. It contains steam-distilled floral essential oils from the Mitchells’ fifth-generation estate in Kent, England…which is probably why it is pretty pricey!
Malin + Goetz Mojito Lip Balm– This balm has a soft mojito scent & really not much flavor which is fine with me. The texture is very rich but not slick. It almost feels like a moisturizing, somewhat dense, lip primer treatment. It feels really comfortable!
Skin Inc. Custom Blended Serums- I also wanted to make a special note about the Skin Inc. serums because if you follow me on Instagram (one of my favorite social media options EVER!) then you likely saw I had the scoop on 2 samples while this box was still available! I got the Anti-Aging Serum in the box but I have actually been sampling the Brightening version. Aren’t these serums just the coolest looking in the bottle too? I noticed the Brightening version helps with my more dry areas but I haven’t tried the Anti-Aging one yet. I really like the texture as well- not too think or then & also not tacky. These ARE full size & retail for $45 each.
Glossybox has been REALLY impressing me each month! If you’re interested in a fun monthly subscription with a nice mix of items that tend to be even better than “deluxe” sizes- this one might be for you!
Have you tried Glossybox? What did you get in your box this month if you’re subscribed? Anything catch your eye?
