Funny thing, I seem to get some random requests for easy baby shower/baby themed nails here & there! Is it because of the now very in baby themed parties- showers, gender reveal, etc. type things going on? No idea! But I do know that if you request it…I have it! So today I’m showing you an easy baby shower themed nail art gradient using the three shades I reviewed here from the Zoya Textured Holo Magical Pixie Collection Spring 2014 which I reviewed here.

So this is a really basic design & although super blingy & holo & textured…I find these colors quite soft. Appropriate when it comes to traditional baby colors but definitely a whole lot more fun!

This is super easy to do honestly but I’ll run it down anyway. Start out with 2 thin coats of Zoya Cosmo. Use the other two coordinating shades (Lux & Vega) at either the base or tip of the nails using a cosmetic sponge very lightly. Using Cosmo as a base is great because it is so light that it almost looks like a light stain making the gradient really easy to achieve. Using a cosmetic sponge lightly just makes application & layering so much easier while keeping the textured look.

Thoughts? What kind of baby shower type nails would you rock? Digging these textures still?
