Valentine's Day Mani 2012: Sinful Colors Daredevil & Roses

Valentine’s Day holds a special place in my heart. My parents were married on this day so its always been extra love-y in my house. I’m a military wife so I have spent Valentine’s Day alone. This year I’m not so its especially special! Whether you call it a greeting card holiday or if you cherish this day of love, its one of my favorites in spirit.

Holiday manicures are always tough for me. I get so excited & plan out tons of designs then I tend to get super busy. This year was no different. I finally found all of my stamping tools since moving & knew I needed to stamp! I picked up Sinful Colors Daredevil a few days ago & decided a vibrant hot pink would be perfect. I adore hot pink with black so it all blended well.

This is actually 3 coats but I might have been able to get by with 2 medium ones. I am impressed and really love this color. Now onto the bad. SO HARD TO PHOTOGRAPH! You’ll see some shimmer here and there due to lighting but in person its not there. I think it more comes off as the shine.

Daredevil by Sinful Colors: An extremely vibrant, hot pink with blue undertones.

I feel like this captures the color while other pictures pick up the brightness.

I love these roses. They really show up great. The black polish is a rather ancient Wet n Wild from I don’t even know how long ago. One is from a Red Angel Plate & the other is from a Bundle Monster Plate.
