Are you ready for Valentine’s Day tomorrow? I’ve been having all kinds of technical difficulties over here so I am already in need of a mini vacation. Today I’m sharing some seriously fun shades from KBShimmer that I’ve put together into a quirky Valentine’s Day nail art look. Because boring is…boring right? I have some shades from previous collections & one from the new Spring 2015 collection! Check them all out below!
Here’s what my nails looked like with just my base colors. I think something like this would be fun for Valentine’s Day or really any day. What do you think?

KBShimmer Toast-ess With the Mostess– Small to large circle glitters in pink, gold, & holo silver along with micro to medium hexes in the same shades suspended in a clear base. This was inspired by a glass of champagne. Seen here on half of my ring finger atop KBShimmer Beach Please.
KBShimmer Beach Please– An almost neon hot pink with purple tones. I only needed two coats & this had awesome application.
KBShimmer You Autumn Know– A white crelly base packed heavily with bright purple, gold, & orange hexes along with micro bar glitters in the same purple & orange. This is 2 medium coats on my pinky & everything lays perfectly even. Exceptional application for a crelly.
KBShimmer Sweet Egg-Scape– A perfect scattering of pale aqua star glitters, coral pink triangle glitters, red squares, lavender & silver holo hexes in a soft pink crelly base. 3 coats of perfection on my ring finger without too much fishing. From the new KBShimmer Spring 2015 collection.
I did a bit of nail art over KBShimmer Beach Please because I wanted to make some kind of present. I’ll admit it isn’t exactly my best or cleanest work but I got lots of compliments so I guess that it wasn’t awful! With some nail vinyls I squared off my present lines & added the glitter shades then finished off the lines with a quick swipe of white polish…quicker than it should have been judging by the lack of straight line. Oh well! I smacked a bow that I bought from Amazon here in the center. I liked this super pale pink contrasting with the other shades. On my thumbs I repeated my ring finger of KBShimmer Beach Please & Toast-ess With the Mostest in case you were wondering!
