So in case you missed my Glossybox US unboxing video (you’ll always see Glossybox on Youtube first because afterwards I review it here!) then you aren’t aware of the randomness. This is the February Glossybox which arrived kind of late but I liked it all the same. You’ll see some brands you recognize, some full sized products, & some snail slime. Why yes, you did read that right!

As usual, Glossybox includes the theme, products, & more information on their card. I love this layout & it feels well thought out. They also include a Glossymag with photos & tid bits about beauty & trends.

Bvlgari Eau Parfumee Au The Blanc Soap- This is a nice sized soap sample & smells of the fragrance of Eau Parfumee Au The Blanc. This is 1.76 oz & a full size is 5.3 oz & retails for $30. This has a nice scent & lathers well. It was nice to add into my soap rotation but it isn’t something I’ll be running out to purchase.

Da Vinci Cosmetics Shimmer Powder in Champagne- This is a full size sample of a shimmering eyeshadow. I personally would have preferred something a bit more daring shade wise but I can see this appealing to a lot of people. This is a lovely beige/champagne & it applied rather sheer. I can foil it for a denser application. It says you can use it as a highlighter on the cheeks but I think it is way too shimmery for that! A full size is $15.

Lisi Sheer Sparkle Lip Gloss in Battery Park- This gloss is available at a NY beauty boutique but unfortunately it didn’t blow me away. For one thing this gloss is so sheer that I might as well use a clear gloss with gold shimmer. It also boasts a “delectable scent” but I don’t smell anything but your average lipgloss in mine! Maybe I got a dud? This is a full size & it retails for $7 for .31 oz.

Missha Super Aqua Cell Renew Snail Hydro Gel Mask- If you saw my unboxing video then you probably know how I feel about this sample! This is a full sized mask which retails for $6. Why haven’t I tried it? Well…I just can’t bring myself to put snail slime on my face. It says it is an Asian beauty secret that moisturizes, soothes, regenerates your skin, & is known to reverse skin damage with natural healing powers. I love you guys & you mean the world to me but I seriously don’t think I’m going to put snail slime on my face…& yes snail slime extract is in the ingredients list.

Nail Rock Nail Wraps in the design Metallic Stripe- I have shown these on the blog before & really love the idea of an easy to apply & use nail design at home. This design has black, silver, & gold metallic stripes & I love them! This is a full size & retails for $8 a pack for a full set.

All in all, a nice Glossybox! A lot of full sizes too! For $21 a month the Glossyboxes have been a nice value for me personally & this one was no different. I love me some Glossybox & even though this one came a bit late….it was totally worth the wait! With items from two of my favorite brands (TARTE & OPI? It is Christmas again!) & a few other brands I like as well. Impressed ladies, very impressed. Keeping reading to see what was inside!

This was a collaboration Glossybox with an awesome blogger who created The Man Repeller so it came in a fancy gray box & fabulous black & silver star tissue paper. I love this look!

OPI Can’t Let Go Liquid Sand Nail Polish: I love this polish oh so much that I swatched it yesterday. Checkout my breakdown here! I love that they included a full size & from their current line, not something off trend. Last month a full size Zoya & this month a full size OPI? Full of win.

Estee Lauder Sumptuous Extreme Lash Multiplying Volume Mascara: I rather like Estee Lauder but I don’t think I’ve ever tried a mascara! Funny…I thought I’d tried everything! This is in Extreme Black (yay, I am so glad they don’t pawn off brown shades I’ll never wear) & I’ll give it a shot when I get through a few more mascaras.

FRESH Umbrian Clay Mattifying Serum: I don’t think I’ve ever tried this although I quite like FRESH as a brand overall. This sample is packed full to the brim & smells really earthy & natural. I haven’t tried this yet but I’m sure I’ll appreciate it when the heat comes around in a few months.

Le Metier de Beaute  Replenishing Daily Solution: I’ve never tried this but I’ve had it on my radar. This is supposed to be the creme de la creme & I’m excited to try it out. Yes, it is in a foil packet. With all the full sizes in this box….I won’t complain a bit.

Naciso Rodriguez for Her Toilette Spray: I don’t think I’ve had this scent before but it smells absolutely lovely. Definitely feminine with some musk maybe? It doesn’t strike me as youthful but more sophisticated.

Sebastian Professional Potion 9: This is a really nice size sample! This is described as a wearable-styling treatment & smells like a high end salon. Oddly enough, this is peach in color which was unexpected. I’ve only used it once but it works well to smooth a style together. It left my hair & hands smelling magnificently clean & fancy.

TARTE Glamazon Pure Performance 12 Hour Lipstick in Fierce: I was praying this lipstick would come into my life & here it is. I love so many TARTE products but with my ridiculous lipstick stash I kept talking myself out of buying any of these. SEE? The universe wanted me to have it! Fierce, comfortable, & perfectly packaged. TARTE can pretty much do no wrong.

I love trying new subscriptions! La Bella Box arrived while I was away & I’m so excited to show you what was inside! I’d describe this box as being a more useable wellness box because although it contains some beauty items it also had home items I’ll actually use!

The La Bella Box is a simply designed box perfect to store the small items & for regifting or storage. Since this is my first box, I’m not sure if the packaging changes but this is very nice. The items are placed on top of black crinkle shards & wrapped in antiqued gold tissue paper. Lovely presentation & it doesn’t feel cheap at all.

It comes with a standard card with information about the products. This feels & looks almost identical to those you’d find in Birchbox. They have the prices for each product which I really appreciate. When companies leave that off I have a bit of a gripe.

Little Blooms Handmade Elastic Knotted Ties(3 Pack worth $5)

I know some people aren’t a fan of these types of hair ties but I love them. I stack them with my bracelets & people never notice the difference! They’re flat, stretchy, & comfortable to wear both in my hair & on my wrist! These are made by an Etsy seller & I’m digging these wearable shades. She also has lots of glitter varieties…I’d love to get my hands on those!

Truffle Truffle Classic Milk S’more (Worth $2.75 each)

I posted a picture of the inside of this candy here & omigosh it is ridiculously tasty. Packed in layers & then covered in chocolate it is a magnificent treat. Check out my Instagram picture to see its chocolate-y yummy glory!

Kishr Ancient Wellness Beverage ( One satchel is worth $1.75)

I adore tea & this is definitely a different blend for me! I opted not to sweeten it (I pretty much never sweeten tea) & it was lovely with a bit of a kick from herbs I don’t normally sip. I liked it quite a lot!

Joe Jacket Reversible Eco-Chic Beverage Wrap (Worth $9.95)

Years ago I had planned to make one of these for myself…that didn’t happen! This wrap is really cute & I love that it is reversible. Although it isn’t the colors I would have chosen for myself (Seriously…white? Who can keep that clean?) I love the prints & that I can switch it over for a change on a day to day basis! From a fellow sewer, the stitching on this is great!

It has a more comfortable, original feel rather than professional. With some items from Etsy sellers (which I love!) & other small businesses, I’m loving the feeling of supporting other creative types without having to search for them myself. I think this is a valuable service & fills a gap in the subscription service market which is pretty saturated with ideas currently. If you’re looking for something new, out of the box, with a personal feel then I think this could be for you!

I‘m so sorry this has taken so long to get up! My Starbox had to be resent & then the snow delayed it! Darn Nebraska! Anyway, I have swatches on this post & an eye look which I should have up later today! Excited!

So for this month they had a truly amazing box, a full palette with a wide array of glorious shades! This is definitely my favorite December box because I love the way they put the colors together. They used inspiration from the colored lights on a Christmas tree…brilliant! I love it so much & it is perfect for all year.

Here’s the pretty sparkly snow insert (fun!) & the card that came with the box this month!

This palette is lovely & definitely a great representation of classic Christmas tree colors! Each color is set into the palette so there is no wiggling of these shades. The cover is clear with the Starlooks logo. 

& here are the swatches! These shades are amazing but my favorite is definitely the light gold/white shade. I adore these types of shades as a highlight or to layer over another color for the perfect touch of gold…I’m totally in love! These shades are wonderfully rich & have a variety of finishes.

For only $15 a month, the Starlooks Starbox is a steal. If you love makeup (which if you’re here, I’m guessing you do!) then this is definitely an excellent option.
