Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette Swatches & Review

January 8, 2014 By StephanieLouise 192Leave a Commenthttps%3A%2F%2Fwww.allthingsbeautifulxo.com%2F2014%2F01%2Furban-decay-naked-3-palette-swatches.htmlUrban+Decay+Naked+3+Palette+Swatches+%26+Review2014-01-08+15%3A06%3A00StephanieLouisehttp%3A%2F%2Fwww.allthingsbeautifulxo.com%2F2014%2F01%2Furban-decay-naked-3-palette-swatches-review.html

I bought it. Affiliate links.

If you love makeup then you might already be burned out on the Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette. If that is the case…well I’m sorry. I’m a bit late getting this up but I wanted LOTS of testing time to come to a conclusion. Now that I’ve had lots of time to test & play I’m ready to share my thoughts! Keep reading to see more!

 photo UrbanDecayNaked3PaletteRoseGoldEyeshadowSwatchesReview025_zps6cab8a3f.jpg
 photo UrbanDecayNaked3PaletteRoseGoldEyeshadowSwatchesReview04_zps0680aeb2.jpg

The Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette is more pink/mauve/rose toned shades overall. While the first Naked palette was warmer & bronzier, the second was much cooler & taupe-r, this one is definitely different. The packaging is very similar to the Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette- metal outer packaging that clicks into place, a rectangle design, decent sized mirror, double ended brush, & pretty secure close. Inside you have each shade labeled & it is plastic. The color on the outside is more of a rose gold & then there is kind of a ripple on the front which the second palette didn’t have. Overall very similar although not the same. This isn’t my very favorite packaging (I prefer the Urban Decay Vice 2 Palette which I reviewed here!) but it is sturdy & I haven’t had issues with shades cracking. I do find one side of my palette sticks which I guess is better than flapping in the wind.

 photo UrbanDecayNaked3PaletteRoseGoldEyeshadowSwatchesReview03_zps00c9547b.jpg

You also have that nifty double-ended brush. I prefer this for cream products but it is a nice brush generally speaking. With the other Urban Decay Naked palettes you received a deluxe sized eye primer. With this palette you got a set of 4 little bitty testers of their different types of eye primers. Meh. Definitely not a fan of that! I actually look forward to getting my deluxe eye primers so this was a shame because I don’t feel like it adds any value.

 photo UrbanDecayNaked3PaletteRoseGoldEyeshadowSwatchesReview026_zpsed4ef1d7.jpg

Inside you have 12 shades total varying from matte to shimmer to metallic. They range from lightest to darkest from left to right. Because these shade are so pink toned I was actually thinking about passing on the palette altogether. Pinks are really hard for me to pull off… Brown & hazel eyes often rock these hues without issue but my blue eyes can often look a bit blotchy or allergy ridden. I’ll have some tutorials coming up to show how I like to use this palette because I actually quite liked most of the looks I tried in the end!

The shades below in the first photo are in direct artificial light & the second is in natural shade.
 photo UrbanDecayNaked3PaletteRoseGoldEyeshadowSwatchesReview021_zps3752bbab.jpg

The left lighter side:
Strange is a pale white/pink with a slightly satin matte finish. Looks more yellow than it is above & looks matte on the eye. Dust is a pale metallic pink with white & golden micro glitter. A bit powdery & fallout happens with the glitter/texture. Best applied wet although I still find it patchy. Burnout is a light/medium peach with a pearly satin finish. Limit is a mauve toned pink that leans neutral/cool with a matte finish. Buzz is a coppery toned rose metallic. Lovely shade wet or dry. Trick & Nooner are both more accurate in the photos below.

 photo UrbanDecayNaked3PaletteRoseGoldEyeshadowSwatchesReview022_zps23a0819a.jpg

The right darker side:
Trick is a bronze-toned rosy copper with gold shimmer with a frosting nearly metallic finish. Nooner is a medium muted rose with a matte finish. Liar is a mauve/rosy toned brown/grey with a frosted nearly metallic finish. Factory is a medium brown with red/pink tones that are slight but identifiable with a pearl finish. Mugshot is a very slightly pink toned taupe with a metallic finish. Darkside is a purple/grey taupe with cool tones & a pearl finish. Lovely shade. Blackheart is a blackened burgundy with warm tones & red micro-shimmer. I don’t have anything like it.

 photo UrbanDecayNaked3PaletteRoseGoldEyeshadowSwatchesReview023_zps1d14e528.jpg

Here are my swatches in order from left to right Strange, Dust, Burnout, Limit, Buzz, Trick, Nooner, Liar, Factory, Mugshot, Darkside, & Blackheart from the Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette swatched over primer.

I think the only reason this palette functions well for me (the girl who loves taupes & gravitates towards cooler tones more than warm) is because of the varying tones in the second half of the palette. These are the shades that make the other side of the palette work for me because although they aren’t as pink they definitely work well together. Dust is my least favorite shade for the fallout. My most reached for & enjoyed shades are Limit, Nooner, Buzz, Liar, Mugshot, & Darkside. Although I think I prefer the tones in the Naked 2 Palette for my personal complexion & preferences I do actually quite like this palette. I find myself reaching for it to create romantic, work appropriate, or uncomplicated looks most. Overall these 12 brand new shades are lovely & most of them have a great formula & wear.

Have you tried any of the Urban Decay Naked Palettes yet? Are you buying into the Naked 3 hype? Would love to hear your thoughts below! Also feel free to let me know what kind of looks you’re interest in seeing with this palette!

Birchbox for December 2013 featuring Secret Agent Beauty, Fortune Cookies, & More!

January 6, 2014 By StephanieLouise 196Leave a Commenthttps%3A%2F%2Fwww.allthingsbeautifulxo.com%2F2014%2F01%2Fbirchbox-for-december-2013-featuring.htmlBirchbox+for+December+2013+featuring+Secret+Agent+Beauty%2C+Fortune+Cookies%2C+%26+More%212014-01-06+18%3A30%3A00StephanieLouisehttp%3A%2F%2Fwww.allthingsbeautifulxo.com%2F2014%2F01%2Fbirchbox-for-december-2013-featuring-secret-agent-beauty-fortune-cookies-more.html

 photo BirchboxDecember2013Review01_zpsdbc015d2.jpg

I bought it. Referral links.

Birchbox time again!I thought the packaging on this box is gorgeous! I love the gold & the theme…but the inside contents is a different story. Keep reading to see what was inside!

 photo BirchboxDecember2013Review03_zps30362663.jpg
 photo BirchboxDecember2013Review04_zps80575517.jpg

The theme was holiday (duh) & there was also a card included introducing the Cythia Rowley collection. I was hoping something from her collection would have been included but nope 🙁

 photo BirchboxDecember2013Review05_zpsf7e91302.jpg

Inside the December 2013 Birchbox-
BeeKind Body Lotion- I guess you can see how I feel about this in the video…my face says it all! lol This just doesn’t smell good to me at all & the texture isn’t fabulous enough to make up for it. Eco-friendly- Yes. For me? Nope.

Eslor Skincare System- 4 small foil packet samples? Nope, not impressive. I mean, seriously why haven’t they gotten this yet? One decent size sample is so much better than 4 tiny ones. Plus the adhesive is still stuck on these…they are kinda gross. I don’t see myself getting excited about using them.

Secret Agent Beauty Nourishing & Plumping Lip Gloss in Foreign Intelligence Flirt- Nice size lip gloss, nice color, but the packaging stinks. They made it really gaudy by putting lots of text on it. Also, the applicator is more conducive to maybe a moisturizer or concealer. Meh.

Number 4 Non Aerosol Hairspray- Nice size sample 7 a nice product. I actually have some Number 4 items I have lined up for review & it was nice to receive another one. i only used it once because this will be perfect for travel.

Emily’s Chocolates Milk Chocolate Fortune Cookie- Easily my favorite item in this box! Really tasty & a fun idea. I’d buy this again!

 photo BirchboxDecember2013Review02_zpsf6ee5755.jpg

Overall this wasn’t a home run box- I think I was expecting more out of a December box because they are often some of my favorites. Last month’s box (check it out here!) was actually amazing & I liked pretty much everything! This one in comparison was a let down- where is the holiday spirit? I was expecting some wow factor & I don’t feel like it delivered.

Birchbox is a monthly beauty subscription costing $10 a month. If you review each product monthly you also get credit money in the Birchbox shop. If you review each product each month (assuming there are 5) that equals $5 so the box itself pretty much costs $5 which is an awesome deal! If you’re interested in joining, please subscribe using my Birchbox referral link!

Have you received a Birchbox this month? Feel free to share your links below! Any products in this Birchbox that interested you?

BA Star Makeup Collection Swatches, Review, & Makeup Look

January 2, 2014 By StephanieLouise 197Leave a Commenthttps%3A%2F%2Fwww.allthingsbeautifulxo.com%2F2014%2F01%2Fba-star-makeup-collection-swatches.htmlBA+Star+Makeup+Collection+Swatches%2C+Review%2C+%26+Makeup+Look2014-01-02+20%3A25%3A00StephanieLouisehttp%3A%2F%2Fwww.allthingsbeautifulxo.com%2F2014%2F01%2Fba-star-makeup-collection-swatches-review-makeup-look.html

 photo BAStarProMakeupReviewSwatchesTutorialHoliday201301_zpscce31a7f.jpg

PR Sample.

So recently I was sent some items from BA Star to try out & they seem to be a bit holiday related. I wore this look a bit before the holidays & the products on their own here & there. I wasn’t ready to fully review until now because I just wasn’t sure about a few things! Keep reading to see what I though of all these items!
BA Star is a makeup line created specifically for athletes- dancers, cheerleaders, gymnasts, etc. I have really high hopes for a line dedicated to that much movement! I was a cheerleader & dancer up until the last two years of high school- makeup meltdown was constantly happening! They even have group packages & such which is really cool!

 photo BAStarProMakeupReviewSwatchesTutorialEyeLookLipsHoliday2013028_zpsc08e0cde.jpg
 photo BAStarProMakeupReviewSwatchesTutorialEyeLookLipsHoliday20130234_zpsac1fa9b4.jpg

BA Star Natural Shadow Palette-
I like the look of this palette but those cream glitters just aren’t logical. This isn’t personal against BA Star, it is every brand that tries to give you a clear gel with chunks of glitter expecting them to be long-wearing. But they never are. One is gold & the other is iridescent. So use them for costume or whatever but I’m going to focus on the 3 eyeshadow shades. The copper is beautiful & even more orange-y metallic in real life. Lovely shade. The brown is a very cool toned & has a decent texture. The last is a light cream. They are all much prettier & pigmented wet & I swatched them slightly damp for that reason. All of these shades are a bit flaky but still workable.

 photo BAStarProMakeupReviewSwatchesTutorialHoliday201304_zps78ef6979.jpg
 photo BAStarProMakeupReviewSwatchesTutorialEyeLookLipsHoliday20130223_zpsa727dc0c.jpg
 photo BAStarProMakeupReviewSwatchesTutorialEyeLookLipsHoliday2013022_zps53b3f8b8.jpg

BA Star Deep Plum Star Dust & Glitter/Shimmer Base-
I seriously hate this base. I’m hoping I got a dud because it isn’t tacky-it is sticky. Like really sticky. You can see it looks like my eyeshadow is creasing right after application above. Not cute. The Star Dust in Deep Plum however is absolutely fabulous. I love this shade so much! The swatches above show that many different tones, one swatch lightly with a brush & the other foiled. I have more swatches next to the lip color below as well. Such a gorgeous color.

 photo BAStarProMakeupReviewSwatchesTutorialEyeLookLipsHoliday2013025_zps8670215f.jpg

BA Star Lip Pencil in Holiday Red-
This isn’t the red I think of when I hear holiday red but it is pretty! It has some gloss to it & is more punchy than I had expected. pretty shade & didn’t bleed though so I enjoy it from time to time! Because it isn’t such a vampy red I had an easier time pairing it with daytime looks as well.

 photo BAStarProMakeupReviewSwatchesTutorialEyeLookLipsHoliday2013026_zps339b92d0.jpg

Swatches left to right- BA Star Lip Pencil in Holiday Red, light swatch of BA Star Deep Plum Star Dust & a foiled swatch of Deep Plum.

 photo BAStarProMakeupReviewSwatchesTutorialEyeLookLipsHoliday201303_zps5f404f9a.jpg

On my eye I’m using the brown & cream colored eyeshadows from the first palette on my crease/highlight then the BA Star Deep Plum Star Dust over the base.

Overall I liked the Star Dust the best, I’d love to get my hands on more! I’d be interested in the palette if the glitter creams were eyeshadows instead & I’d also be interested in more of the lip pencils! What do you think? You can visit the BA Star website here!

Lorac Pro Palette Swatches, Review, & My Favorite Way to Wear It!

December 31, 2013 By StephanieLouise 199Leave a Commenthttps%3A%2F%2Fwww.allthingsbeautifulxo.com%2F2013%2F12%2Florac-pro-palette-swatches-review-my.htmlLorac+Pro+Palette+Swatches%2C+Review%2C+%26+My+Favorite+Way+to+Wear+It%212013-12-31+00%3A25%3A00StephanieLouisehttp%3A%2F%2Fwww.allthingsbeautifulxo.com%2F2013%2F12%2Florac-pro-palette-swatches-review-my-favorite-way-to-wear-it.html

 photo LoracProPaletteMain_zps4638e0ed.jpg

I bought it. Affiliate links.

For over a year now when asked “What is your favorite palette?” or “What palette should I buy?” my first thought is the Lorac Pro Palette. Sure, I ask what people need- color, texture, neutrals, mattes- but usually this is the end recommendation! This is my most used palette of the year & I absolutely love every shade! As much as I love more colorful looks this has all of the basics. Add a colorful Urban Decay palette or some Sugarpill singles & you’re absolutely set! Keep reading to see why this is my top pick of the palettes!
From ULTA- Go PRO with the LORAC PRO Palette! Created by celebrity makeup artist Carol Shaw, this PRO artistry palette is packed with 8 Shimmer and 8 Matte Eye Shadows in all the shades you need to create the hottest looks straight from the Red Carpet. LORAC’s velvety-smooth shadows are infused with soothing botanicals and are ultra-pigmented to perform wet or dry so you can shade, shadow, line and define your eyes, just like a PRO. PRO Palette Contains 16 Eye Shadows and a Mini Behind The Scenes Eye Primer for stay-true color that lasts, a PRO must-have!

 photo LoracProPaletteReview01_zps39b0f8f9.jpg
 photo LoracProPaletteReview02_zpsfdc4189c.jpg

So this comes in a basic box, cute but still professional looking. The actual palette packaging is something not everyone will love. The outside is slightly similar to NARS packaging meaning it can get dirty looking & have some fingerprints. I honestly don’t mind it because it is incredibly thin but not the cardboard isn’t flimsy at all. I mean crazy thin! Perfect for daily use, storage, & travel. A very smart design that doesn’t feel bulky or cheap.

 photo LoracProPaletteReview03_zpsedcff3ec.jpg

Inside you have a decent sized mirror, 16 shades in varying tones, & color names below each shade for convenience. The top row is matte & the bottom is shimmer.

 photo LoracProPaletteReview04_zps37490f4f.jpg

Top Row (Matte) – White, Cream, Taupe, Light Pink, Mauve, Sable, Espresso and Black Bottom Row (Shimmer) – Nude, Champagne, Gold, Light Bronze, Pewter, Garnet, Deep Purple and Slate.

 photo LoracProPaletteReview06_zps722e64df.jpg
 photo LoracProPaletteReview05_zpsa41acfb4.jpg

All of these shades are quite soft & buttery, you need to tap off before use. I find these very easy to blend out effortlessly. Even the shades that might seem a bit chalky blend on the eye to perfection without much work. You can also use these shades wet or dry for a variety of looks.Swatches below are over the Lorac primer included with the palette.

 photo LoracProPaletteReview07_zps17ba133f.jpg

Top Row of the Lorac Pro Palette (Matte) –
White- Matte white with cool tones. A bit powdery but blends out beautifully.
Cream- Matte slightly warm light beige. A bit stiff but buildable.
Taupe- Matte warm medium brown. Great texture.
Light Pink- Matte very pale cool pink. A bit powdery but easy to work with.
Mauve- Matte muted plum toned pink. Nice texture & blendability.
Sable- Matte warm/red toned medium to dark brown. Great shade.
Espresso- Matte cool dark brown. Slight satin but appears matte on the eye.
Black- Matte medium to dark black. Very buildable for intensity.

 photo LoracProPaletteReview08_zps43d41e01.jpg

Bottom Row of the Lorac Pro Palette (Shimmer) –
Nude- Nearly metallic warm beige-toned champagne. Smooth.
Champagne- Champagne that it very close to Nude. A bit more stiff.
Gold- Metallic bronze toned gold. Very pigmented & easy to use!
Light Bronze- Frosted yellow-toned light peach.
Pewter- Frosted slightly metallic medium taupe. More dimension out of the pan.
Garnet- Metallic red toned copper brown. Amazing on blue eyes!
Deep Purple- Deep blackened plum with micro-shimmer. Kind of a satin.
Slate- Shimmer with a deep cool toned grayed blue. The shimmer is kind of a purple/teal.

A nice mix of colors, both cool & warm. Likely the most versatile of all of my neutral palettes. I also have the Lorac Pro to Go palette which I reviewed here & also absolutely love. Both palettes have excellent pigmentation & blendability. They are just an excellent formula & the varying shades make everything from easy day or work looks possible along with sultry night time smoky eyes. Awesome overall. I also compared the Lorac Pro Palette to two of my other favorite neutral palettes here: Lorac Pro vs. Urban Decay Naked vs. The Balm Nude ‘Tude Palette (Detailed!)

I thought I’d close out this post with one of my all-time favorite eyeshadow looks using the Lorac Pro Palette. I simply love it! Check out the full post with instructions here!: Fake a Taupe Eyeshadow Look with Lorac Pro + Rimmel Show Off in Nova Tutorial

The Lorac Pro Palette is available from ULTA & also contains a mini eye primer for $42.

So as you might have been able to glean from my post- I LOVE this palette! Do you own the Lorac Pro Palette? Want to see any specific looks using it? What are your favorite palettes?

Melissa Beth Kiss & Makeup Case in Raspberry Review

December 24, 2013 By StephanieLouise 203Leave a Commenthttps%3A%2F%2Fwww.allthingsbeautifulxo.com%2F2013%2F12%2Fmelissa-beth-kiss-makeup-case-in.htmlMelissa+Beth+Kiss+%26+Makeup+Case+in+Raspberry+Review2013-12-24+22%3A49%3A00StephanieLouisehttp%3A%2F%2Fwww.allthingsbeautifulxo.com%2F2013%2F12%2Fmelissa-beth-kiss-makeup-case-in-raspberry-review.html

PR Sample.

When it comes to travel, my makeup case is the most important thing. Sure jewelry is valuable & shoes are necessary but makeup is my main concern. Not only can it break, crack, smash, or explode but I love some of my limited edition items which are essentially irreplaceable. I need an excellent makeup case. Melissa Beth has designed this case to be both functional & adorable- there are many styles to choose from! Today I’ll be showing you mine in the shade “Raspberry”.
From melissabeth.com : It’s what is on the inside that counts! Your make up case should be just as fab as your handbag. KISS and MAKE UP is the perfect cosmetic bag for all your essentials. Double sided zip compartments, removable inside pouches and custom brush holders make this make up case something to brag about.

 photo MelissaBethKissandMakeupCaseReviewPinkMakeupCase01_zps787f7876.jpg
 photo MelissaBethKissandMakeupCaseReviewPinkMakeupCase02_zps8ee35edf.jpg

The exterior is velour & kind of terry cloth like. Soft bust also stain resistant. I like that you can clean it but it isn’t clear or plastic feeling. The piping is super cute & corresponds with the inside. Even the zippers have a cute design that is easy to grip. The lining inside is wipeable so even if there is a spill things are simple to clean up.

 photo MelissaBethKissandMakeupCaseReviewPinkMakeupCase05_zps96428475.jpg

On one side you have a brush holder area with stretchy loops. I like to have both brushes & pencil type products here for easy reach. I packed this like a weekender & I take less brushes but I still take quite a few eyeliners so this method is perfect for me!

 photo MelissaBethKissandMakeupCaseReviewPinkMakeupCase03_zps435ea517.jpg

In the middle you have a removable & flippable clear pencil type case. it fits my Lorac Pro to Go Palette (review here!) perfectly! If you choose to take more brushes I recommend putting your pencils & lippies in here!

 photo MelissaBethKissandMakeupCaseReviewPinkMakeupCase04_zps9bd8ae81.jpg

Turn the flap (or unbutton it & throw it in your purse!) to see both of the clear cases that are also removable. I have my skincare & bases in one & my makeup in the other. For a quick trip this is absolutely perfect! Need more room? Leave these out & pack other items inside for an extended trip. Love it!

You can purchase the Melissa Beth Kiss & Makeup Case in Raspberry here or check out the numerous other colors like teal, lime, or hot pink!

OPI Holiday Manicure with Mariah Carey Holiday 2013

I bought it. Affiliate links.

I love a good mismatched manicure! I picked up 3 of the OPI nail polishes from the Mariah Carey Holiday collection recently & wanted to use them. Lucky for me my nail polish needs to be replaced frequently so I slapped them all on at once! Yeah I’m cool like that.

 photo HolidayManicureOPINailArtMariahCareyVisionsofLove02_zpse32bb17c.jpg
 photo HolidayManicureOPINailArtMariahCareyVisionsofLove01_zps3ca7629b.jpg

OPI Visions of Love is a gorgeous shade which is why I used it as my base. it doesn’t scream “I’m a holiday polish!” so I thought it would be an easy base. This is a vampy dark oxbloodish red crelly. I used one coat over a base coat because i knew I’d be slapping stuff on top of it. Not bad for one coat honestly.

 photo HolidayManicureOPINailArtMariahCareyVisionsofLoveMyFavoriteOrnamentISnowYouloveMe01_zpseb283cb6.jpg
 photo HolidayManicureOPINailArtMariahCareyVisionsofLoveMyFavoriteOrnamentISnowYouloveMe02_zps74908175.jpg

The big glitter on my pointer finger is OPI I Snow You Love Me & the dense champagne glitter is OPI My Favorite Ornament. I love both of these actually! The circle glitter is gorgeous although it is kind of difficult to apply. Next time I will apply with a dotting tool & not my brush. I Snow You Love Me was way more wonderfully dense than I had expected! Next time I won’t layer it, I think it will rock on its own!

Did you pick up any of the Mariah Carey Holiday 2013 collection? I got this in a trio from ULTA which you can purchase here. I feel like I’ll be able to use these shades again & again!

Hair. Man. I’ve been having some fits with mine lately. Why don’t you do as I say hair? But seriously, let me get back on track.the nuNAAT Garlic Magic line was released in August 2013 & I’ve been using the products for almost 2 months. Keep reading to see my thoughts!
This line is targeted towards “slow-to-grow and fragile hair” & since lately my hair has been more fragile than normal I figured it was finally time to try them out. My hair is very dry & unfortunately one of the medications I take makes my hair fall out every once in awhile (even my lashes which is more depressing than I can describe). I actually have very thick, fine, tangly hair. I don’t get excessively oily but I like something that really cleans my scalp since my hair looks best day 2-3 after washing.

From the nuNAAT website- Our Garlic hair care collection is the perfect solution for hair that is especially weak or slow to grow. Formulated with garlic extract, this product line works its magic at the roots, cleansing the scalp of impurities and strengthening hair follicles. Also ideal for fighting dandruff, excessive oiliness and hair loss.

Before using my hair was a bit more dull & I actually really see a difference! My roots get clean without being stripped, my ends aren’t overly dry, & the two styling products are a big hit! Let’s break it down ya’ll!

nuNAAT Garlic Extra Force Shampoo- Formulated with garlic extract to help restore hair’s natural balance for stronger, faster-growing hair. Also helps to fight dandruff, excessive oiliness and hair thinning. Designed for daily use.

nuNAAT Garlic Extra Force Conditioner- Promotes the strengthening of hair, healing from the inside out and leaving hair soft, healthy and shiny. For best results, use daily with NAAT Garlic Extra Force Shampoo.

Both retail for $5.99 each for 16.9 oz.

nuNAAT Garlic Magic Hair Mask- Moisturizes and strengthens hair from the roots. Formulated with garlic extract, this natural hair mask leaves hair with a fresh, clean scent and intense shine. Ideal for controlling frizz. Apply generously to clean hair and slowly massage from the roots to the ends. Let stand for 20 minutes. Rinse thoroughly. $6.99 for 17.6 oz.

nuNAAT Garlic Extra Force Styling Cream- This lightweight styling cream works to control frizz while keeping hair moisturized. Designed to be used several times a day, if necessary. $5.99 for 10.5 oz.

I’m really impressed with this line overall! I love the scent- fresh & floral. Not vampire repellant & not garlicky at all, promise! I really love this mask & love how shiny it leaves my hair! The styling cream was a big surprise for me, I normally never use it! I actually really liked using this on my damp hair & hand combing it through my hair. I love leave-in treatments. I’m really happy with the results & super happy with the price! I found my hair looking shinier & more healthy.

The prices are reasonable, I can pick them up at Walgreens, & they are all quite nice sizes. What’s not to love right? You can also purchase from drugstore.com & the nuNAAT website.

L’Occitane Divine Immortelle Eyes & Lotion Review

December 21, 2013 By StephanieLouise 208Leave a Commenthttps%3A%2F%2Fwww.allthingsbeautifulxo.com%2F2013%2F12%2Floccitane-divine-immortelle-eyes-lotion.htmlL%27Occitane+Divine+Immortelle+Eyes+%26+Lotion+Review2013-12-21+13%3A21%3A00StephanieLouisehttp%3A%2F%2Fwww.allthingsbeautifulxo.com%2F2013%2F12%2Floccitane-divine-immortelle-eyes-lotion-review.html

Love luxe skincare? Well then this is the post for you! L’Occitane somewhat recently released their Divine collection & I have two outstanding products to share! Both are skincare, both are beautifully packaged, & both give me that awesome happy feeling. Keep reading to see why!

 photo LOccitaneDivineLotionEyeSkinReview02_zps2b2ed45a.jpg

L’Occitane Divine Lotion is absolutely not what I expected & ultimately blew my expectations out of the water. I can’t even contain my excitement over this product! Instead of a moisturizer this is actually a moisturizing toner! I am SO into toners so it figures I’d gravitate to this! I have very dry skin & this milky toner is my answer to winter. With a soft floral scent & luxe texture this product as totally reshaped the way I see toners. I’ve never tried one that wasn’t the consistency of water. You apply this to a cotton round on freshly washed skin. It leaves my skin so soft, not dry or tight & all, & incredibly supple.

L’Occitane Divine Eyes is packaged in the cutest little bottle with a pump. This is meant for anti-aging & moisturization around the eyes & it delivers.I find this to be kind of a milky gel, strange right? I love how fast it absorbs while still leaving my undereyes feeling moisturized. Although scented, this doesn’t irritate my eyes or the eczema around them. I’m left with really smooth looking & feeling skin around my eyes.

Here’s the not so good news- these products are pricey. The L’Occitane Divine Lotion retails for $54 & the L’Occitane Divine Eyes retails for $76. Ouch. But you only need a small amount of each product, the packaging is luxe, & the ingredients really work. Pricey? Yes. But if they sound like what you’ve been looking for I urge you to try them!

I’ve used lots of L’Occitane products over the years & these are now some of my favorites! What are your L’Occitane favorites?
