Revlon PhotoReady Eye Art Lid + Line + Lash Duos Swatches & Review
This post is somewhat embarrassing because it shows my complete lack of control when I really like something. Seriously I just buy almost an entire line…proof in this post as I currently own 8 out of 10. & it is killing me not to make it 10 out of 10. I have a problem.
The Revlon PhotoReady Eye Art Lid + Line + Lash Duos come in 10 shades like I said above & each product is double-ended. Each duo comes with a cream eyeshadow on one side & a glitter on the other. The two colors I don’t have are Fuchsia Flash which is a very pale pink & fuchsia glitter & the other shade is Burnished Bling which I fully intend to pick up when I finally find it in stock! The Smashbox Master Class 3 Palette is my Favorite! + Eyeshadow Look!
I’ve made a major error & I need to apologize. I’m so sorry I’ve fallen in love with a palette that has already sold out online except for Amazon. I tend to try & review items for longer than most apparently & not I’ve waited too long for this rave review. Trust me when I say you need to get your hands on this palette.
The Smashbox Master Class 3 Palette is limited edition & the first in the series I’ve picked up. The other palettes were pretty but just not what I was looking for. They weren’t as pretty as this one from what I can remember & something about the packaging just wasn’t right. They weren’t as travel-friendly which is important to me for when I actually travel. Maybelline Master Hi-Light Blushes & Bronzers Full Swatches & Review
Drugstore crazes come in waves & often I am the first to run out & grab new items. Maybelline has released some of my favorites- I have pages & pages of reviews. Because I bought all of this line, I actually decided to take a long time to get my thoughts together. & I have lots of opinions!
The Maybelline Master Hi-Light Powdered products fall into either the blush or bronzer category. I believe there have been a few limited edition releases but there are 6 total in the permanent range. Lorac 3D Liquid Lustre Set for Holiday 2014 are Everything!
Shall we talk about my love of glitter & glitz? I think we should! Nothing screams holidays to me quite like an abundance of shimmer & glitters. I adore the drama & the shine that catches all the lights. Glitter can get a seriously bad reputation- something meant only for the young & chunky + uncomfortable to wear. That just isn’t true anymore- there are options for us glitter aficionados…& I’m going to share one of my favorite intense shimmer options with you today!
Lorac Lustre Drops are nothing new to me- I pick them up whenever possible. I actually reviewed a similar limited edition set last year around this time which you can see here. The two shades of Lorac Lustre Drops that are permanent & available year-round are Diamond & Gold which are both gorgeous. Last year the shades in my set were Diamond, Platinum, Amethyst, & Topaz. My Favorite Lipstick for Over 5 Years & Other Favorites
Today I wanted to take a break from holiday posts just for a moment to bring in a post I’ve had waiting in the wings since before I even cut my hair. I took these photos when I realized I was using some of my favorite products in my collection & realized this would probably be helpful to share. My collection is pretty vast so the go-to items are really important to me. & some have been around for ages. I just love favorites don’t you?
Have you ever picked up a lipstick & thought “I could wear this with everything…”? It is rare for me. I really do switch out lip colors seasonally & quite often so it is a pretty big deal. If you’ve been reading my blog for awhile now then you likely know I grew up raiding my mother’s Lancome stash. It was a pretty big deal. Although I know for a fact I’ve been using this lipstick for 5 years at a minimum…it is likely more like 10. I think it was 3-5 years ago that my mom & I randomly started a conversation talking about our favorite purse lipstick…& it was the same one. The one I’m wearing above is Lancome Color Design Lipstick in Love It! which is probably the best thing ever. I mean- that name? Was it not meant to be a favorite? Butter London Lippy Moisture Matte Lipsticks Swatches & Review
Has anything hit harder in the lip arena lately than the matte trend? Matte lipsticks are so hard to get right. For my dry lips I have to pay attention to moisture content & something that glides on beautifully. I need something that is beautiful, easy to apply, & won’t make my lips look like the Sahara. Is that too much to ask? Is it really?
Butter London has solved so many issues for me including not having very many matte lipsticks to recommend to people. It Cosmetics Limited Edition- The IT Girl! CC+ Lip Serum Holiday Collection Lip Swatches & Review
This morning I woke up to the heater being off. I left my slippers downstairs so I had to walk barefoot on the tile. I then proceeded to freeze my hands when washing them. Winter is definitely here. Because I grew up in southern California, I am a bit bias about this winter nonsense. I would much rather visit snow than live in it. The one shining light during this season for me is the makeup…& all of the new releases! It Cosmetics is one of my favorite brands & today I get to share one of my favorite lippies in a limited edition form.
