When it comes to Spring, I like to rock me some bright lips. Neon lips, off color lips, ridiculously pigmented lips. In the past, I’ve only stumbled onto a handful of drugstore shades that fit into this category. Maybelline Vivids are something I’ve been obsessing over since I first read the press release & I’m so incredibly excited to show them to you today!

Spoiled- Ants in my Pants Or here with the black & red…I was a woman possessed.
Zoya- Reagan I honestly had no idea I’d fall so hard for this shade of pink but it just looks phenomenal on my nails & against my skintone. & I’m not much of a pink girl honestly.
Zoya- Kimber I wore this on my nails then straight on my toes. I love it so much, it scream gorgeousness.
Spoiled- Shrimp on the Barbie So when I look back at 2012, this definitely was a favorite. Low price point, gorgeous shift, & I didn’t have anything like it. When I finally had to take it off my nails…I put it right on my toes.
Zoya- Arizona Confession: Not a big orange fan…but Arizona had me rocking orange like a wild woman. It just looked so great on my skin & so fabulous for summer & well into fall for me.
Spoiled- I Only Eat Salads I honestly don’t know why this struck such a chord with me, don’t have a shortage of lime greens. But it did, it does, & it forever will.
China Glaze- Riveting This was THE fall shade for me. did not want to take it off. It is absolutely gorgeous.
Revlon- Mint Gelato Believe me, I didn’t expect to fall for a scented polish at all. But omigarsh this shade, the formula, & the creamy mint scent are simply intoxicating.

Nails by Laura (Joyful Noise Cosmetics)- Black Tie Affair If you love Black & White Glitters, ah, love, Here it is over another favorite Zoya’s Wednesday.

Zoya- Wednesday OBSESSED. I seriously wore this on my nails forever to the point where I stopped doing nail posts for a bit. I am still in love & it is amazing & beautiful & & & LOVE.
Revlon- Facets of Fuchsia When this first came out, I had a fit & wore it allll the time. Purple & black, heaven.
Essie- Navigate Her I wear this as kind of a palette cleanser & I think it looks so simply pretty.
FLAKIES! From Finger Paints to Essie to Zoya to China Glaze & beyond…if I’m ever in doubt, you’ll find

New Years Eyeshadow: Think Pink in the New Year!
So for this New Year’s eyeshadow look, I thought I’d go pink! I have seen lots & lots of purple looks (my go to shade!) so I thought I’d go with a bright pink instead of glitter. I used a palette I don’t use much but really love as well! For everything I’ve used, just keep reading!
Primer: Too Faced Shadow Insurance
Eyeliners: Jesse’s Girl Kohl White Eyeliner in my lower rim, Covergirl Liquiline Blast in black on my upper waterline, & Jordana Fabu Liner Liquid felt tip liner in black on the lashline.
Eyeshadow: Coastal Scents Think Pink Palette ( I used the shades HP-ME20, HP-ME07, M08, & ME23 in case you want to purchase the Coastal Scents Hot Pots.) If you want to use your own shades I used a frosty white highlight, fuchsia pink base shade, frosty mauve pink inner corner, & black with fine pink glitter in my crease.
Mascara: L’Oreal Voluminous Carbon Black
What do you think? What color are you bringing in the new year with? How do you wear your pink eyeshadow? PS the nails in the top photo are my New Years manicure which I posted earlier!
New Years Nails: Confetti + Disco Ball Explosion Manicure!
To kiss 2012 goodbye I had to do some glitter bomb nails right? RIGHT! I honestly pulled both glitters off my nail rack & absolutely couldn’t decide…one looks like a disco balll…the other like straight confetti…why choose?
Base shade is Pamplona Purple from OPI. I then sponged on the gorgeous Julie G for Jesse’s Girl shade in Mermaid’s Tale. The glitters were both sponged on as well & both are from Forever 21! They have surprisingly nice polishes there although the names all pretty much suck! The confetti shade is labeled as crystal/multi & the silver holo disco ball shade is labeled as crystal/silver. I then topped it all off with Seche Vite!
I love them, so blingy! What nails are you rocking into 2013? What do you think of these glitters?

Original Maybelline Color Tattoo Swatches & Review
This post has been a long time coming & is probably crazy detailed. I’ve been wanting to review these for some time but when I do a review I was to be CERTAIN about my convictions. I wanted to use each of these numerous times in different ways so I could fully answer any questions & explain my experiences. Basically, I like to not be full of…well full of it in general. Lilly Brush Has Saved My Sweaters! More Money for Makeup!
Lilly Brush is my newest must have. When it comes to clothing, I seem to have a love/hate relationship with sweaters especially. For those of you who don’t know I pet sit as part of my income & also have pet of my own. Hair is everywhere in my house…we replace vacuums pretty regularly & it is a neverending battle. I didn’t grow up wearing many sweaters…at least not real sweaters. Now that we live in snow though…I now know the truth. Sweaters are a scam to get me to keep buying more sweaters.

NO MORE! Lilly Brush has changed all of that & I’m going to show you how! When I saw Logical Harmony do this awesome demo on pet hair, I was majorly excited. I can remove pet hair right before leaving & have it on me in literally 1 minute. Now I can carry this with me! Pet hair aside, that doesn’t cure the sweater problem. I decided to try it on the sleeves of my jammies which are the same as the cuffs on any of my sweatshirts.
This took less than 5 seconds & look at the difference! With just a few short strokes of the magic brush, gone! No damage either! I’m majorly impressed & I can’t wait to try it on those sweaters I’ve deemed “unwearable in public” so that I can enjoy them again! Totally worth it guys, even if it saves only one sweater it has more than paid for itself!
You can buy a Lilly Brush for only $12.95 on their website & you can choose from red or black. I love that I can throw it in my purse & go. It has nice packaging & although it looks basic, I’ve never found anything that works quite like it!

The bottles are really sleek & modern looking. Square with a white “hue” on one side & a white lid. I love the feel of these glass square bottles!
