Beauty Box 5 has arrived for December & I’m excited to share my thoughts! This was a really nice box & I’m quite pleased with it! As with my past few boxes (you can see a ton of unboxings by searching for Beauty Box 5 in my search bar!) this box had a great mix! Keep reading to see what was inside & my unboxing video as well!

Isn’t the card for this month cute? I love the photo! Like a lot!

 photo BeautyBox5BB5December2013HaulReview04_zps718525bb.jpg

The items in my box for December 2013:

Body Drench Daily Moisturizing Lotion in Sugar Cane– This lotion smells like pure sugar cane- if you’re into sugar scents you’ll love it! This is a nicely silky lotion, perfect for arms & legs. This isn’t as thick as I need this time of year but I think it’ll be nice during the spring!

Ofra Cosmetics Sultry Lipgloss Plumper- This lipgloss has a slight plumping tingle & is scented/flavored with a bit of mint. I really like the shade & it is very appropriate for fall/winter. It is more pigmented than a lot of glosses I get in sample boxes which I really appreciate!

Clean & Clear Morning Burst Hydrating Gel Moisturizer- I am definitely excited to try this moisturizer but I’m saving it until my skin is less excruciatingly dry. This is water-based, supposed to be for all skin types, & it contains both cucumber & mango extracts. Exciting stuff right there!

Every Beauty Flexible Foot Smoother– I’ve had one of these before & really enjoyed it so I was happy to get another full size! Basically this is a medium sponge that has coarse exterior to scrub feet. I really like to use it before a pedicure! This alone retails for $4.99.

 photo BeautyBox5BB5December2013HaulReview05_zpsc7980fea.jpg

NYX Cosmetics Love in Rio Eyeshadow Palette in Bossa Nova– The most exciting part of this trio is this is one I would’ve likely picked out myself! All three contain shimmer or glitter ut they’re nice & neutral. I’ll be really excited to use this one, so far I’ve only had time to swatch with all the holiday bustle! This trio alone retails for $6.00

 photo BeautyBox5BB5December2013HaulReviewSwatches01_zps267f4e32.jpg
Here are my swatches of the Bossa Nova NYX trio & the Ofra gloss! Over ELF primer.

You can subscribe to Beauty Box 5 monthly for $12 a month, $30 for 3 months ($10 a month), or even $99 a year (only $8.25 a month!) which is a pretty darn good set of options if you ask me! You receive 5 samples monthly & it has helped to introduce me to lots of new brands to play with!

Another great variety- eyeshadow, body lotion, lipgloss, facial moisturizer, & a foot product! Nice & varied but also two makeup product- my favorite to get in subscription boxes! I’m really happy with this box, what do you think? Do you subscribe to Beauty Box 5?

What Kind of Courses Should I Take to Improve My Blogging Career?

December 18, 2013 By StephanieLouise 214Leave a Commenthttps%3A%2F%2Fwww.allthingsbeautifulxo.com%2F2013%2F12%2Fwhat-kind-of-courses-should-i-take-to.htmlWhat+Kind+of+Courses+Should+I+Take+to+Improve+My+Blogging+Career%3F2013-12-18+14%3A45%3A00StephanieLouisehttp%3A%2F%2Fwww.allthingsbeautifulxo.com%2F2013%2F12%2Fwhat-kind-of-courses-should-i-take-to-improve-my-blogging-career.html

Do you ever wonder how bloggers use business tools and courses to their advantage? Wondering what kind of educational classes to take to further yourself in the blogosphere? There are tons and that isn’t even counting those specific to your industry! Here are some of my top picks to advance your blogging career since education is the #1 most important step if you want to build a monetized platform.

Look at your blog as a business because it is! What kind of courses do you need to invest in to see the return in your blog? The ones I always think of first are writing (of course!) but you’ll want to look more into areas you might not have needed to delve into at your prior employment.

Math is a huge part of starting a real business because you’re going to be dealing with money. Accounting classes are excellent to get under your belt as well as looking into advertising courses to better market yourself. Because you are a brand now, you’ll need to start looking at yourself as one. While you didn’t cut your own check or remove taxes likely at your previous position now you’re doing all of that and more! You’ll need to keep your own books, references for taxes, and so much more. You’ll also need to learn how to sell yourself and your blog and track everything as you go.

Some other courses to look at are public speaking/debate, communications, and photo editing classes. All of these things come together to make you blog (and you!) better as a whole. You’ll eventually want to be speaking face to face with clients, photographing outside of your studio, and editing more photos a day than the normal person takes in a year. Streamlining and learning these things from a professional will save you tons of wasted time, wasted money, and just plain frustration. It is so much better to be prepared because there is a ton of competition in the blogging community. You need to be original but you also need to be very professional. Many bloggers also ghostwrite (writing classes pay off!), run social media for brands, and tackle lots of miscellaneous guest posts and various projects.

The bottom line is- educate yourself by investing in yourself. You’ll see a major return in your blogging, writing, and day to day ease of commitment. Because this job is technology-based it is constantly changing and evolving, and so should we. You’ll never be sorry that you learned how to speak confidently in public or that you can balance your own books.

Demeter Holiday 2013 Picks- Perfect Scents that Trigger Memories!

December 17, 2013 By StephanieLouise 216Leave a Commenthttps%3A%2F%2Fwww.allthingsbeautifulxo.com%2F2013%2F12%2Fdemeter-holiday-2013-picks-perfect.htmlDemeter+Holiday+2013+Picks-+Perfect+Scents+that+Trigger+Memories%212013-12-17+18%3A58%3A00StephanieLouisehttp%3A%2F%2Fwww.allthingsbeautifulxo.com%2F2013%2F12%2Fdemeter-holiday-2013-picks-perfect-scents-that-trigger-memories.html

 photo DemeterHoliday2013FragrancesChristmas2013_zps25eaf5a1.jpg

PR Sample.

If you haven’t seen any of my many past Demeter recommendations…well then you just haven’t been around long enough! I have some really special scents to share- all of them holiday or winter related. If you’re a fragrance fiend, away from family, or just love the scents of the holidays you’ll definitely want to check out my thoughts on Demeter Cinnamon Bark, Christmas in New York, Pixie Dust, Snow, & Candy Cane Truffle!
Note that Cinnamon Bark is the only full size ( 1 fl oz) spray size. The others are from the Demeter Limited Edition 4 Piece Sets & contain .5 fl oz that are called Cologne Mini Splashes & don’t have a spray nozzle. These would be perfect stocking stuffers as a set or broken up for multiple people! I selected these scents personally except for one so there are tons more options as well. Also keep in mind scents smell different on everyone!

 photo DemeterHoliday2013FragrancesChristmas2013CinnamonBark01_zps5420217e.jpg

Demeter Cinnamon Bark- This is the selection that was a surprise & boy it was a surprise! Neither Ryan or I like artificial cinnamon at all. You won’t find it in any candles, food, or room sprays in our house. It makes us both sneeze. A lot. Imagine my shock when we both actually liked this? This smells more woody than cinnamon on me personally & smells lightly like the holiday aisle but you’re more next to trees because it isn’t overwhelming. This is a very confusing explanation…but that’s what it is!

 photo DemeterHoliday2013FragrancesChristmas2013ChristmasinnewYork01_zpsee55dba8.jpg

Demeter Christmas in New York- I love scents that make you picture a place & this is definitely one of them. I’m not personally from New York (California all the way!) but I can really imagine the bustling crowds, fresh pine, sparkling decorations, & flashing lights with this scent. Demter describes the notes as “Egg Nog, Spices, Apples and roasting chestnuts, all the elements that are uniquely New York at Christmas-time.” I agree & pick all of that up along with some pine & a bit of chocolate.

 photo DemeterHoliday2013FragrancesChristmas2013PixieDust01_zps64efc928.jpg

Demeter Pixie Dust- This might be the fragrance I was most excited about- hello Tinkerbell! This is super fruity & sugary but also really light as a scent itself. If you’re into sweet scents that waft & make people think you’re a fabulously sweet, sparkling fairy then I think you’d really get a kick out of this one!

 photo DemeterHoliday2013FragrancesChristmas2013Snow01_zpsff7835e8.jpg

Demeter Snow- I don’t think there is another scent more winter-magiclicious than Snow. How could there be? Like many Demeter scents this one plays mind games with me- how did they bottle snow? We live in snow now (hello Nebraska…) but obviously I grew up in the most magical place of all- Huntington Beach, California where the weather is always gorgeous & pretty predictable. Snow reminds me of visiting my family in Indiana as a child & my papa pulling me around on the sled in their yard. I also think about being away from home with Ryan & being independent now. This scent smells very clean with notes that come across as very earthy on me & fresh.

 photo DemeterHoliday2013FragrancesChristmas2013CandyCaneTruffle01_zps9697a732.jpg

Demeter Candy Cane Truffle- The last scent is new to Demeter & was released in November 2013. Candy canes can smell a bit harsh so they added in some chocolate to soften it up & make it more wearable. Demeter is the only brand that has gotten chocolate right for me thus far & this smells like holiday sweets- absolutely enticing with a bite of candy cane. Love.

You can use the Demeter store locator on their site here to find a store near you but I highly recommend ordering from online from the Demeter website as well! They have a 100% money back guarantee so if you don’t like the scent or it just doesn’t work with your body chemistry you can return it hassle-free. The Demeter Ultimate Holiday Stocking Stuffer Mini Sets retail for $20 each for 4 .5 fl oz bottles & the 1 oz bottles retail for $20.

What are some of your favorite holiday scents? What fragrances trigger your memories this time of year?

Why yes, yes I do love metallic nails! This is the time of year when I reach for them most- doesn’t the holiday season scream for more sparkle & shine? I have 4 of the polishes from the SinfulColors Mirror Metallics line today including what might be my favorite green of the 2013 holiday season! Keep reading to check them out!

 photo SinfulColorsMirrorMetallicsNailPolishSwatches2013TriplePlatinum03_zps5136bb77.jpg

Sinful Colors Triple Platinum- Metallic silvered lavender. 2 coats. This looks close to silver in brighter lighting but in low light or indoors you can tell it is an icy lavender.

 photo SinfulColorsMirrorMetallicsNailPolishSwatches2013RedEye02_zps753217d8.jpg

Sinful Colors Red Eye- A very sparkling pink toned holiday cherry red metallic. 1 coat. Much pinker & brighter on the nail.

 photo SinfulColorsMirrorMetallicsNailPolishSwatches2013BlueSteel02_zps11c6f82a.jpg
 photo SinfulColorsMirrorMetallicsNailPolishSwatches2013BlueSteel03_zps7ac09261.jpg

Sinful Colors Blue Steel- A steely blue metallic with deeper tones in certain lighting. 1 coat. More complex on the nail.

 photo SinfulColorsMirrorMetallicsNailPolishSwatches2013PineAway02_zpsaf4f12d8.jpg
 photo SinfulColorsMirrorMetallicsNailPolishSwatches2013PineAway03_zpsb1f6b7b3.jpg
 photo SinfulColorsMirrorMetallicsNailPolishSwatches2013PineAway01_zps826739da.jpg

Sinful Colors Pine Away- A brightened holiday kelly/pine green metallic. 1 coat. Much brighter on the nail than in the bottle. Also more complex looking in my opinion.

My favorite of this collection is Pine Away because I’m a total sucker for greens & this one is really more gorgeous on the nail than I had anticipated. Nice surprise! Red Eye was also an awesome look, so flashy! All of these shades are limited edition at the time of this posting so snap them up while you can!

How Did I Start Blogging Full-Time?

December 16, 2013 By StephanieLouise 218Leave a Commenthttps%3A%2F%2Fwww.allthingsbeautifulxo.com%2F2013%2F12%2Fhow-did-i-start-blogging-full-time.htmlHow+Did+I+Start+Blogging+Full-Time%3F2013-12-16+14%3A47%3A00StephanieLouisehttp%3A%2F%2Fwww.allthingsbeautifulxo.com%2F2013%2F12%2Fhow-did-i-start-blogging-full-time.html

 photo KaplanBeforeampAfterStagingPhotosPhotoshopEducation012_zpsd0eabe08.jpg
 Sponsored Post.
Do you ever wonder how bloggers ended up blogging full-time? Such a large part is dedicated to educating yourself & immersing yourself into the business world. Sure, my job looks super glamorous from the outside (hello, I literally review blush & lip gloss sometimes!) but there is a lot of behind the scenes action that goes into it. You have to make the first step though! Are you ready to jump into a new career that will brighten your future? I was definitely ready to do something I’d love every day!
The first thing to do is determine if you’re ready to take on the business side of things. If you’re planning to go at it full time, business knowledge is an absolute must. Be ready to take on a completely professional outlook on what might have once been a hobby. Are you ready to do this full time? Are you ready to leave your current job? I was lucky enough to start out blogging young (although I wish it had been earlier!) so I was definitely ready for a positive change that I could control. I went to school and also looked up specific courses that interested me and would help me in the future.
Create a space perfect for success. Transitioning to working at home can be really difficult. I highly recommend you treat your home like an office. Look for a specific schedule that works for you. When I first started I’d write at all hours of the day and night. Eventually I realized I was missing out on family time or letting things slide by. If you keep regular business hours, take work breaks, and make sure to eat meals, you’ll develop a more comfortable routine. This helps a lot in schooling as well. Courses on accounting, English, writing, public speaking, & photo editing would be very helpful both immediately and in the long-term.
Having complete control over your future can be a bit intimidating but planning is key. Learning the business side of blogging isn’t something I learned overnight- it took a lot work. Learning to pitch myself, knowing my worth, and managing costs were all new to me. Never undersell yourself. It’s absolutely manageable & absolutely worth it. I can’t imagine not doing this now and couldn’t be happier. I think that is the most important thing when choosing a new career- look for things that will truly benefit you and make sure your education will improve your future. I can’t think of one instance where I thought, “Man, I sure wish I wasn’t this educated!” Seriously guys, that doesn’t happen.

& then with an overlay of Northern Lights Hologram Silver Top Coat from Out the Door. This honestly couldn’t get much more lovely for a look that is a bit softened & winter-y. Love. Which way do you prefer it- textured or holo-fied?

What kind of snow-y winter-y lovely looks are you loving this season? I just bought the most gorgeous blue eyeshadow, ’tis the season for icy looks no? What are you wearing on your nails today?

I am always interested in trying out new brands so naturally when I had the chance to try out some new Eddie Funkhouser products I took it. They actually let me pick these 3 items & I’m so happy I did! I chose two lipsticks & a matte blush- & I think you’re really going to dig them. Keep reading to check out Eddie Funkhouser Ultra Intense Cheek Color in Plum Crazy, Chromographic Lip Color in Kiki, & Hyperreal Nourishing Lip Color in Quiet Riot!
About EDDIE FUNKHOUSER®- the latest in a diverse portfolio of game-changing beauty brands created by groundbreaking makeup artist, beauty spokesperson and expert product developer, Eddie Funkhouser.
With its refined, minimalist packaging and world-class, studio-grade formulas, (created predominantly in Italy) EDDIE FUNKHOUSER has been widely-embraced by makeup artists and beauty aficionados seeking smart innovation, unique style and high-performance beauty products.

 photo EddieFunkhouserSwatchesReviewLipstickKikiQuietRiotIntenseCheekPlumCrazy01_zps5b57a533.jpg

I really like the packaging on these- very chic & simple.  I like the peek window on the blush, I always appreciate that. They are all made from black plastic but they feel sturdy & well thought-out.

 photo EddieFunkhouserSwatchesReviewLipstickKikiQuietRiotIntenseCheekPlumCrazy02_zps85640f72.jpg
 photo EddieFunkhouserSwatchesReviewLipstickKikiQuietRiotIntenseCheekPlumCrazy03_zps027a7f51.jpg

We’ll dive into Eddie Funkhouser Ultra Intense Cheek Color in Plum Crazy first! This is a really flattering shade & I think you can build up the color enough that it is absolutely flattering on most people. I love a nice dusty mauve-ish plums & these are hard to find both matte & in a nice formula. I find this to feel very high quality (likely because it is finely milled) & I honestly haven’t had any issues blending which is a miracle on my dry skin. Sometimes matte blush is hard for me to pull off this time of year (I usually go for creams during the drier months) but this looks absolutely naturally beautiful. This blush retails for $8.99.

 photo EddieFunkhouserSwatchesReviewLipstickKikiQuietRiotIntenseCheekPlumCrazy04_zpsec696a5f.jpg

So these two lip colors are from different ranges- Kiki is from the Chromographic Lip Color line & Quiet Riot is from the Hyperreal Nourishing Lip Color line. Kiki is a gorgeous & ultra creamy coral pink. This has an awesomely creamy formula & looks absolutely gorgeous on me…you’re going to have a hard time getting me to wear anything else this spring/summer. Quiet Riot is also really moisturizing & maybe a bit more lightweight? This shade is a lovely raspberry toned pink. Love. Both lipsticks retail for $11.99 each.

 photo EddieFunkhouserSwatchesReviewLipstickKikiQuietRiotIntenseCheekPlumCrazy07_zpsc23e4210.jpg
Left to right- Eddie Funkhouser Hyperreal Nourishing Lip Color in Quiet Riot, Chromographic Lip Color in Kiki, & Ultra Intense Cheek Color in Plum Crazy.

You can really see the difference here, that blush is super matte & man do those lippies look creamy & moisture rich! I love these colors, they’re just too fabulous.

You can purchase Eddie Funkhouser products from their website, select Rite Aid stores, & Urban Outfitters online. They have tons of products including highlighters, eyeshadows, & face products. Everything is pretty reasonably priced as well, especially for the wide color range & beginning to be available at drugstores.

I’m loving these & definitely hope to get my hands on some more! I hope they start merging into more drugstores since Rite Aid is west coast only- but I’ll have to see if I have one near me next time I’m in LA! Let me know if you’d like to see these products used in a particular look sometime soon!

Let’s just get this out of the way: this is a rave review. I love love LOVE these & they’re definitely a dangerous new beauty addiction. Bite Beauty Best Bite Lip Set is for Holiday 2013 & I want a million of them. The case…the shades…everything. Keep reading to find out more about this love story! (PS you can eat these too, no really!)

The packaging is absolutely adorable. You can see the sleeve in my first photo but above is what the tin actually looks like. Sleek & reusable- I’m such a freak about reusable things. They automatically gain like 10 points especially if they’re functional.

 photo BiteBeautyLipCrayonsHoliday2013ReviewSwatches03_zps48de4870.jpg

Inside we have the 4 pencils wrapped nicely & do you see the lid? THAT IS A MIRROR! A mirror in a perfect purse sized tin. Where have you been all my life fancy Altoids cousin? You’re my favorite, I shall hug you, love you, & name you George.

 photo BiteBeautyLipCrayonsHoliday2013ReviewSwatches04_zps4f57c0c2.jpg

Inside the glorious tin (seriously, I can’t get over it!) you have 4 beautiful deluxe sized Bite Beauty High Pigment Matte Lip Pencils. One shade is a limited edition & the rest are available year round. You are getting 0.05 oz of products in each pencil. A full size is $24 for 0.09 oz. Those are pretty big full sized right? This set of 4 deluxe sized pencils is only $25 & a $55 value. Plus, the tin ya know. Oh that tin.

The shades inside are absolutely gorgeous & almost universally flattering. You have Quince, Rhubarb, Cranberry, & Madeira.

Swatched left to right:  Quince, Rhubarb, Cranberry, & Madeira.

All 4 shades are matte (as the name implies) & come in a twist up jumbo lip pencil form. I personally love this type of packaging & it looks very sleek. Functional on the go for me because you don’t need to apply items on top or bottom to make these work- the formula is incredible. Super creamy, 1-2 swipe high pigmentation, & even last about 5 hours on me. For a comfortable matte that is just crazy. I have a really hard time not topping matte shades off with gloss/balm about 30 minutes in but these were really comfortable. Excellent suprise. They also have a slightly sweet taste…I didn’t eat them although they are made from completely edible ingredients so I guess I could…

From Sephora- This product is free of synthetics, polybutenes, and petroleum byproducts and made exclusively with lip nurturing food-grade ingredients that are healthy enough to eat.

Just saying! I actually see that as a huge plus. I mean, I have to ingest at least some when I wear lip color right? At least this is food-grade?

As for the colors I think this is a nice range of very wearable shades. You’re not going to find an electric pink or shimmer but there is an awesome red. Quince is a brighter slightly berry pink but very wearable for that slight pop of color work lip. Rhubarb is my most reached for, a gorgeous muted mauve-y rose. Cranberry is a beautiful slightly berry red, perfect for holiday parties.  Madeira is a slightly pinkish toned nude on me. It was the shade I was most nervous about because it is a very light nude but I actually liked it on much more than I had expected.

This set is limited edition & exclusive to Sephora either in stores or online here for $25.

Honey Obsessed: BEEloved Beauty Favorites

December 11, 2013 By StephanieLouise 222Leave a Commenthttps%3A%2F%2Fwww.allthingsbeautifulxo.com%2F2013%2F12%2Fhoney-obsessed-beeloved-beauty-favorites.htmlHoney+Obsessed%3A+BEEloved+Beauty+Favorites2013-12-11+18%3A16%3A00StephanieLouisehttp%3A%2F%2Fwww.allthingsbeautifulxo.com%2F2013%2F12%2Fhoney-obsessed-beeloved-beauty-favorites.html

PR Sample. I bought it. Affiliate links.

So you love honey? I love honey. My husband has collected over 15 jars of different types of honey. He is obsessed with honey. But seriously! Bees are just the coolest little dudes & they work it so we can steal their stash for ingredients & inspiration alike. Below are some of my absolute favorite honey products-EVER. You better BEE-lieve it!(I had no choice, I had it in the holster & had to use it.)

 photo perlier-imperial-honey-body-butter-01_zpsd6c9a41d.jpg

Perlier Imperial Honey Marvelous Nourishing Body Butter– This is a very luxe product & definitely costs more than many other body butters in my collection but the product itself is absolutely fantastic. This whipped body butter contains the most honey-rific scent on the entire list & the scent actually lasts at least 6 hours on me which is insanity. The butter itself is very rich, perfect for winter, & also has notes of oriental woods which make me think of fall & winter. Plus it is extremely moisturizing & not greasy, my skin feels like velvet after use. IFabbo5 to take $5.00 off your order of any Perlier products on HSN.

This exclusive melting body butter from the rare Honey of the Black Bees combined with Royal Jelly, is a true youth-elixir. It nourishes the skin, leaving it pleasantly scented with the sensual notes of Honey and Oriental woods. Perfect to protect the skin from cold in winter and also ideal to help soothe and protect the skin after sun exposure. – See more at: http://www.perlier.com/ingredients/imperial-honey/imperial-honey-nourishing-body-butter-6-7-fl-oz#sthash.XqrMfL6T.dpuf

Beecology Shampoo & Conditioner– I used this shampoo & conditioner over the summer & although it didn’t quite have the moisture my dry hair needs I think it would be great for normal hair! The products are sulfate free, lather nicely, & left my hair with very nice volume. They also contain honey, aloe, & soy proteins. Lovely line (other products as well!) & smells of glorious honey! Plus this small business gives back in big ways & their love really shows in their products.

 photo MarcJacobsHoneyPerfume_zps183a904f.jpg

Marc Jacobs Honey Perfume– Where to start with this fragrance? I don’t own a full size yet but I really hope Santa brings me one! While it isn’t straight honey-scented it has that gorgeous honey scent mixed with mandarin, peach, & a warm base. This is energetic & more of a day time scent for me, & it smells absolutely luxe! Santa baby, won’t you bring me this kiss of honey elixir?

 photo LOccitaneCuticleampNailCream_zps98026b86.jpg

L’Occitane Cuticle & Nail Cream– The honey in this product helps to soften cuticles & nails then teams up with shea to get deep down for moisture. I use something more dense & thick at night but for daytime this little baby is full of win. Smells of shea & honey, precision tip, great not greasy on my skin… You can see my more detailed review along with some of my other L’Occitane hand products here.

 photo PhilosophyHoneyBuns3in1_zpsa3b3cdeb.jpg

Philosophy Honey Buns Body Wash 3 in 1– I’m a big time Philosophy 3 in 1 fan & have purchased an embarrassing amount. There’s just something about so many of their scents that either remind me of my childhood or make me smell like a baked good. Yum. This scent is so homey, warm, & comforting. I’m impressed that it taps into some childhood memories. Please note I only use this as soap, not shampoo

 photo CBoothHoneyAlmondNourishingOilDryMist_zps5180e6c3.jpg

C. Booth Honey Almond Dry Oil Mist– I received this product in a Glossybox ages ago & I have gone through the mini & a whole one! You can use this on both face & body but I use a denser oil on my face so this is only body for me personally. The mix of almond & honey is absolutely heavenly. This oil is seriously the most lightweight I’ve ever put on my body & sinks right in. The scent lingers & is just such a spa experience for me…for less than $7.

 photo NiveaKissofMilkampHoney_zpseb31a14d.jpg

Nivea A Kiss of Milk & Honey Lip Balm– For some reason the mix of milk & honey sounded very unappetizing to me but this product is seriously awesome. This scent is so calming & soothing- perfect when I’m sick or having an allergy attack. This is kind of a medium balm- not too thin or thick. I wear something much heavier at night but this is perfect to throw in your bag for the gym, your car, or your purse. It goes on really smooth & the scent is definitely a honey favorite.

What are some of your favorite honey or bee items? I also have lots of food related honey loves- we are obsessed. Did you know Jack Daniels has a honey version too? Excellent for cooking up a great sauce or glaze! Man. We might to attend some sort of group… after writing this post I see we’re deep in the honey pits of love. Despite that, tell me about some of your favorite products below so I can add to the addiction!
