This box was all about the holidays! Super cute card & great contents to match! I actually loved the front of the card (first photo) & will be keeping it in mind for some nail art next holiday season.

 photo GlossyboxDecember201303_zpsc80cdb85.jpg
Inside my December 2013 Glossybox–

Anatomicals You Need a Blooming Shower!- I received a facial spray from Anatomicals a number of months ago & again I’m wowed by their product! It looks like a clear gel soap but it lathers nicely. The sample is awesome, 5 fl oz is a great size! Normally you get around 2 oz so this was a nice surprise! The scent is a mix of fresh roses & light jasmine, I absolutely love it!

 photo GlamourDollEyesLook4_zpsd4303a42.jpg

Ardency Inn PUNKER World’s Baddest Eyeliner- My first Ardency Inn eyeliner! I like this type of format- a felt tip. This pencil is fatter than many others but the tip is super fine! I did the eye look above using it & my Glamour Doll Eyes pigments so you can see how thin you can get it! Super black too! Nice pigmentation. I won’t know how I feel until I see how long the pencil itself lasts & doesn’t dry up but so far really happy with it! (Excuse the quick eyeshadow application! Was in a rush!)

Michael Todd True Organics Pumpkin Mask- I’ve tried this before but it just wasn’t for me. It really stung my face & left it red ๐Ÿ™ I think I might give it another shot because I didn’t know I had such sensitive skin that week in particular. We’ll see because the claims are great!: dissolves impurities, unclogs pores, improves fine lines, etc.

 photo NailsIncVictoriaSwatchesNailPolishRed01_zps57f3f6e1.jpg

Nails Inc. Victoria Polish- I absolutely love Nails Inc. polishes so I was super excited to get a full sized nail polish in this box! It is worth $9.50 alone! This is the shade Victoria & it is a fabulous ultra deep red. 2 coats is shown above.

Naobay Oxygenating Cream Moisturizer- This cream is supposed to help balance skin while moisturizing. This item also smells a bit like fresh roses, divine! I’ve only been able to use it a few times because I am testing a new skincare line but so far so good! I like testing out moisturizers because even if they aren’t my favorite on my skin I can still take them to travel or use on eczema on the go.

Are you looking for an awesome giveaway? I was offered the chance to do one for you guys for next month’s box (January 2014!) which will have a FULL SIZED Beauty Blender inside! Enter below & good luck to everyone!!! & of course, a huge thanks to Glossybox for making it possible!

Birchbox for December 2013 featuring Secret Agent Beauty, Fortune Cookies, & More!

January 6, 2014 By StephanieLouise 196Leave a Commenthttps%3A%2F%2Fwww.allthingsbeautifulxo.com%2F2014%2F01%2Fbirchbox-for-december-2013-featuring.htmlBirchbox+for+December+2013+featuring+Secret+Agent+Beauty%2C+Fortune+Cookies%2C+%26+More%212014-01-06+18%3A30%3A00StephanieLouisehttp%3A%2F%2Fwww.allthingsbeautifulxo.com%2F2014%2F01%2Fbirchbox-for-december-2013-featuring-secret-agent-beauty-fortune-cookies-more.html

 photo BirchboxDecember2013Review01_zpsdbc015d2.jpg

I bought it. Referral links.

Birchbox time again!I thought the packaging on this box is gorgeous! I love the gold & the theme…but the inside contents is a different story. Keep reading to see what was inside!

 photo BirchboxDecember2013Review03_zps30362663.jpg
 photo BirchboxDecember2013Review04_zps80575517.jpg

The theme was holiday (duh) & there was also a card included introducing the Cythia Rowley collection. I was hoping something from her collection would have been included but nope ๐Ÿ™

 photo BirchboxDecember2013Review05_zpsf7e91302.jpg

Inside the December 2013 Birchbox-
BeeKind Body Lotion- I guess you can see how I feel about this in the video…my face says it all! lol This just doesn’t smell good to me at all & the texture isn’t fabulous enough to make up for it. Eco-friendly- Yes. For me? Nope.

Eslor Skincare System- 4 small foil packet samples? Nope, not impressive. I mean, seriously why haven’t they gotten this yet? One decent size sample is so much better than 4 tiny ones. Plus the adhesive is still stuck on these…they are kinda gross. I don’t see myself getting excited about using them.

Secret Agent Beauty Nourishing & Plumping Lip Gloss in Foreign Intelligence Flirt- Nice size lip gloss, nice color, but the packaging stinks. They made it really gaudy by putting lots of text on it. Also, the applicator is more conducive to maybe a moisturizer or concealer. Meh.

Number 4 Non Aerosol Hairspray- Nice size sample 7 a nice product. I actually have some Number 4 items I have lined up for review & it was nice to receive another one. i only used it once because this will be perfect for travel.

Emily’s Chocolates Milk Chocolate Fortune Cookie- Easily my favorite item in this box! Really tasty & a fun idea. I’d buy this again!

 photo BirchboxDecember2013Review02_zpsf6ee5755.jpg

Overall this wasn’t a home run box- I think I was expecting more out of a December box because they are often some of my favorites. Last month’s box (check it out here!) was actually amazing & I liked pretty much everything! This one in comparison was a let down- where is the holiday spirit? I was expecting some wow factor & I don’t feel like it delivered.

Birchbox is a monthly beauty subscription costing $10 a month. If you review each product monthly you also get credit money in the Birchbox shop. If you review each product each month (assuming there are 5) that equals $5 so the box itself pretty much costs $5 which is an awesome deal! If you’re interested in joining, please subscribe using my Birchbox referral link!

Have you received a Birchbox this month? Feel free to share your links below! Any products in this Birchbox that interested you?

BA Star Makeup Collection Swatches, Review, & Makeup Look

January 2, 2014 By StephanieLouise 197Leave a Commenthttps%3A%2F%2Fwww.allthingsbeautifulxo.com%2F2014%2F01%2Fba-star-makeup-collection-swatches.htmlBA+Star+Makeup+Collection+Swatches%2C+Review%2C+%26+Makeup+Look2014-01-02+20%3A25%3A00StephanieLouisehttp%3A%2F%2Fwww.allthingsbeautifulxo.com%2F2014%2F01%2Fba-star-makeup-collection-swatches-review-makeup-look.html

 photo BAStarProMakeupReviewSwatchesTutorialHoliday201301_zpscce31a7f.jpg

PR Sample.

So recently I was sent some items from BA Star to try out & they seem to be a bit holiday related. I wore this look a bit before the holidays & the products on their own here & there. I wasn’t ready to fully review until now because I just wasn’t sure about a few things! Keep reading to see what I though of all these items!
BA Star is a makeup line created specifically for athletes- dancers, cheerleaders, gymnasts, etc. I have really high hopes for a line dedicated to that much movement! I was a cheerleader & dancer up until the last two years of high school- makeup meltdown was constantly happening! They even have group packages & such which is really cool!

 photo BAStarProMakeupReviewSwatchesTutorialEyeLookLipsHoliday2013028_zpsc08e0cde.jpg
 photo BAStarProMakeupReviewSwatchesTutorialEyeLookLipsHoliday20130234_zpsac1fa9b4.jpg

BA Star Natural Shadow Palette-
I like the look of this palette but those cream glitters just aren’t logical. This isn’t personal against BA Star, it is every brand that tries to give you a clear gel with chunks of glitter expecting them to be long-wearing. But they never are. One is gold & the other is iridescent. So use them for costume or whatever but I’m going to focus on the 3 eyeshadow shades. The copper is beautiful & even more orange-y metallic in real life. Lovely shade. The brown is a very cool toned & has a decent texture. The last is a light cream. They are all much prettier & pigmented wet & I swatched them slightly damp for that reason. All of these shades are a bit flaky but still workable.

 photo BAStarProMakeupReviewSwatchesTutorialHoliday201304_zps78ef6979.jpg
 photo BAStarProMakeupReviewSwatchesTutorialEyeLookLipsHoliday20130223_zpsa727dc0c.jpg
 photo BAStarProMakeupReviewSwatchesTutorialEyeLookLipsHoliday2013022_zps53b3f8b8.jpg

BA Star Deep Plum Star Dust & Glitter/Shimmer Base-
I seriously hate this base. I’m hoping I got a dud because it isn’t tacky-it is sticky. Like really sticky. You can see it looks like my eyeshadow is creasing right after application above. Not cute. The Star Dust in Deep Plum however is absolutely fabulous. I love this shade so much! The swatches above show that many different tones, one swatch lightly with a brush & the other foiled. I have more swatches next to the lip color below as well. Such a gorgeous color.

 photo BAStarProMakeupReviewSwatchesTutorialEyeLookLipsHoliday2013025_zps8670215f.jpg

BA Star Lip Pencil in Holiday Red-
This isn’t the red I think of when I hear holiday red but it is pretty! It has some gloss to it & is more punchy than I had expected. pretty shade & didn’t bleed though so I enjoy it from time to time! Because it isn’t such a vampy red I had an easier time pairing it with daytime looks as well.

 photo BAStarProMakeupReviewSwatchesTutorialEyeLookLipsHoliday2013026_zps339b92d0.jpg

Swatches left to right- BA Star Lip Pencil in Holiday Red, light swatch of BA Star Deep Plum Star Dust & a foiled swatch of Deep Plum.

 photo BAStarProMakeupReviewSwatchesTutorialEyeLookLipsHoliday201303_zps5f404f9a.jpg

On my eye I’m using the brown & cream colored eyeshadows from the first palette on my crease/highlight then the BA Star Deep Plum Star Dust over the base.

Overall I liked the Star Dust the best, I’d love to get my hands on more! I’d be interested in the palette if the glitter creams were eyeshadows instead & I’d also be interested in more of the lip pencils! What do you think? You can visit the BA Star website here!

Quick & Easy Daytime to Bombshell Nighttime Eye Step-by-Step Tutorial!

January 1, 2014 By StephanieLouise 198Leave a Commenthttps%3A%2F%2Fwww.allthingsbeautifulxo.com%2F2014%2F01%2Fquick-easy-daytime-to-bombshell.htmlQuick+%26+Easy+Daytime+to+Bombshell+Nighttime+Eye+Step-by-Step+Tutorial%212014-01-01+00%3A58%3A00StephanieLouisehttp%3A%2F%2Fwww.allthingsbeautifulxo.com%2F2014%2F01%2Fquick-easy-daytime-to-bombshell-nighttime-eye-step-by-step-tutorial.html

 photo DaytimeWetnWildtoNighttimeBombshellLancomeEyeLookTutorialDIYMAIN_zpsdc0b92ee.jpg
I bought it. Affiliate Links.

So you want to see how I went from New Years Subtle daytime to New Years Eve Bombshell eh? Well, you’re in luck! I’m seriously wearing this as I type! I refuse to be the only one who needs to wear a simple look during the day & then transform into a New Year’s Eve goddess. Aren’t there any other real ladies out there? Well, this is my look- taking my super quick 3-5 minute eyeshadow look, wearing it all day, then transforming it into a look that only looks like it took ages. Because it is seriously simple & perfect for pretty much any time of the year. Keep reading to see the steps!

 photo longwearingstartDaytimeWetnWildtoNighttimeBombshellLancomeEyeLookTutorialDIY0_zps7aeea031.jpg

So let’s start with my daytime look- the main components are all drugstore. I used the Maybelline Color Tattoo in Barely Branded (Barely Beige works great too) as my base, no primer necessary for my lids. Over that is the Wet n Wild Color Icon single in Nutty which is a gorgeous taupe & to blend out my crease & highlight I used Wet n Wild Color Icon single in Brulee which is my perfect skin match. That’s it. No muss, no fuss, & seriously barely any work whatsoever. My brows are the Milani Brow Fix Kit in Light, my mascara is Tarte Lights Camera Flashes, & my eyeliner is on the tightline is It Cosmetics No-Tug Waterproof Gel Eyeliner in Black (review here). With this look I wear a natural blush, whatever face product I decide is necessary for my skin at the time, & pretty much any lip color I want although pink is the most common. Concealer as needed. Again, I just don’t have to think about this look.

 photo CompareDaytimeWetnWildtoNighttimeBombshellLancomeEyeLookTutorialDIY0_zpsbb8575bb.jpg

Often when I’m needing to go on a date night, attend an event, or go out at night with the girls I want something more fun. But not too much work. When your makeup still looks pretty flawless by the end of the day it seems a waste to take everything off. Sure, if you need to touch up your face with powder or new foundation have at it but the picture of my eyes taken above was after 9 hours of wear. It still looks pretty darn good. Here’s how to go from day to night!

 photo BlackRadienceAfricanViolet5112LipstickLipSwatch01_zps9346957c.jpg
If you have 1 minute- If you are in this big of a rush, change your lip color. If you try to do much to your eyes you’re likely to be so busy rushing that you coat your lashes in new eyeshadow or mess up your liner. Lips are the easiest to touch up & switch up. In the photos I’m wearing an awesome pink toned purple called African Violet from Black Radiance. This creamy, bold shade also leaves behind a pink stain that I love.

 photo DaytimeWetnWildtoNighttimeBombshellLancomeEyeLookTutorialDIY03_zpseb6c46ae.jpg

If you have 2 minutes- Apply a fabulous metallic eyeshadow, preferably one you can apply with your finger. Don’t look for a cream because you don’t want to apply a cream over a powder but do look for something you can blend out with ease. My go-to shade is the Lancome Color Design Eyeshadow in Single in All That Glitters which is an amazing metallic silver shimmer with the barest hint of green. Something metallic means you don’t have to do too much work because it will catch the light & reflect the light on its own. Blend out with a fluffy brush to blend the lines, I still used Wet n Wild Brulee.

 photo DaytimeWetnWildtoNighttimeBombshellLancomeEyeLookTutorialDIY04_zpsad9ab201.jpg

If you have 5 minutes- Do previous steps & then add a bit of liner to your tightline then extend down to just the outter 3rd or 4th of your waterline. Don’t close off your eyes because it won’t make them look as bright or big. Curl lashes.

 photo mascarapreDaytimeWetnWildtoNighttimeBombshellLancomeEyeLookTutorialDIY0_zps948a4995.jpg

If you have 7 minutes- Do everything above then add smoked out liner or my favorite winged eyeliner. I personally like the Stila Stay All Day Liquid Waterproof Eyeliner in Black which has an excellent tip for quick application since I’m accustomed to it. Does the wing make you nervous because you’re in a rush? Skip it! Add some black or another deeper shade (Jewel tones look awesome!) then smudge out the line for a sultry look.

 photo mascarapostDaytimeWetnWildtoNighttimeBombshellLancomeEyeLookTutorialDIY0_zps303b0680.jpg

If you have 8 minutes- Everything above! Add a coat of lightweight, non-clumping mascara like Covergirl Clump Crusher for extra black lashes & don’t forget a quick curl + touch up anything under the eye! Not sure if you can tell but the quick swipe of mascara makes my lashes look much better & fuller as well! If you’re a falsies fan then those can be used as well or instead!

 photo DaytimeWetnWildtoNighttimeBombshellLancomeEyeLookTutorialDIY09_zps3b39db58.jpg
 photo DaytimeWetnWildtoNighttimeBombshellLancomeEyeLookTutorialDIY010_zps6d0ef85b.jpg

Obviously take into consideration if you need to touch up anything else on your face like concealer or blush but that is pretty much all I do! I usually opt for a bold lip because then I rarely apply too much more of a flush! In the photos I’m wearing an awesome pink toned purple called African Violet from Black Radiance. If you have dry skin like me, check out my review of the Reviva Labs Vitamin E Stick– the perfect pick me up for touching up foundation that looks dry. Powder isn’t always the answer for us dry skinned gals!

Lorac Pro Palette Swatches, Review, & My Favorite Way to Wear It!

December 31, 2013 By StephanieLouise 199Leave a Commenthttps%3A%2F%2Fwww.allthingsbeautifulxo.com%2F2013%2F12%2Florac-pro-palette-swatches-review-my.htmlLorac+Pro+Palette+Swatches%2C+Review%2C+%26+My+Favorite+Way+to+Wear+It%212013-12-31+00%3A25%3A00StephanieLouisehttp%3A%2F%2Fwww.allthingsbeautifulxo.com%2F2013%2F12%2Florac-pro-palette-swatches-review-my-favorite-way-to-wear-it.html

 photo LoracProPaletteMain_zps4638e0ed.jpg

I bought it. Affiliate links.

For over a year now when asked “What is your favorite palette?” or “What palette should I buy?” my first thought is the Lorac Pro Palette. Sure, I ask what people need- color, texture, neutrals, mattes- but usually this is the end recommendation! This is my most used palette of the year & I absolutely love every shade! As much as I love more colorful looks this has all of the basics. Add a colorful Urban Decay palette or some Sugarpill singles & you’re absolutely set! Keep reading to see why this is my top pick of the palettes!
From ULTA- Go PRO with the LORAC PRO Palette! Created by celebrity makeup artist Carol Shaw, this PRO artistry palette is packed with 8 Shimmer and 8 Matte Eye Shadows in all the shades you need to create the hottest looks straight from the Red Carpet. LORAC’s velvety-smooth shadows are infused with soothing botanicals and are ultra-pigmented to perform wet or dry so you can shade, shadow, line and define your eyes, just like a PRO. PRO Palette Contains 16 Eye Shadows and a Mini Behind The Scenes Eye Primer for stay-true color that lasts, a PRO must-have!

 photo LoracProPaletteReview01_zps39b0f8f9.jpg
 photo LoracProPaletteReview02_zpsfdc4189c.jpg

So this comes in a basic box, cute but still professional looking. The actual palette packaging is something not everyone will love. The outside is slightly similar to NARS packaging meaning it can get dirty looking & have some fingerprints. I honestly don’t mind it because it is incredibly thin but not the cardboard isn’t flimsy at all. I mean crazy thin! Perfect for daily use, storage, & travel. A very smart design that doesn’t feel bulky or cheap.

 photo LoracProPaletteReview03_zpsedcff3ec.jpg

Inside you have a decent sized mirror, 16 shades in varying tones, & color names below each shade for convenience. The top row is matte & the bottom is shimmer.

 photo LoracProPaletteReview04_zps37490f4f.jpg

Top Row (Matte) – White, Cream, Taupe, Light Pink, Mauve, Sable, Espresso and Black Bottom Row (Shimmer) – Nude, Champagne, Gold, Light Bronze, Pewter, Garnet, Deep Purple and Slate.

 photo LoracProPaletteReview06_zps722e64df.jpg
 photo LoracProPaletteReview05_zpsa41acfb4.jpg

All of these shades are quite soft & buttery, you need to tap off before use. I find these very easy to blend out effortlessly. Even the shades that might seem a bit chalky blend on the eye to perfection without much work. You can also use these shades wet or dry for a variety of looks.Swatches below are over the Lorac primer included with the palette.

 photo LoracProPaletteReview07_zps17ba133f.jpg

Top Row of the Lorac Pro Palette (Matte) –
White- Matte white with cool tones. A bit powdery but blends out beautifully.
Cream- Matte slightly warm light beige. A bit stiff but buildable.
Taupe- Matte warm medium brown. Great texture.
Light Pink- Matte very pale cool pink. A bit powdery but easy to work with.
Mauve- Matte muted plum toned pink. Nice texture & blendability.
Sable- Matte warm/red toned medium to dark brown. Great shade.
Espresso- Matte cool dark brown. Slight satin but appears matte on the eye.
Black- Matte medium to dark black. Very buildable for intensity.

 photo LoracProPaletteReview08_zps43d41e01.jpg

Bottom Row of the Lorac Pro Palette (Shimmer) –
Nude- Nearly metallic warm beige-toned champagne. Smooth.
Champagne- Champagne that it very close to Nude. A bit more stiff.
Gold- Metallic bronze toned gold. Very pigmented & easy to use!
Light Bronze- Frosted yellow-toned light peach.
Pewter- Frosted slightly metallic medium taupe. More dimension out of the pan.
Garnet- Metallic red toned copper brown. Amazing on blue eyes!
Deep Purple- Deep blackened plum with micro-shimmer. Kind of a satin.
Slate- Shimmer with a deep cool toned grayed blue. The shimmer is kind of a purple/teal.

A nice mix of colors, both cool & warm. Likely the most versatile of all of my neutral palettes. I also have the Lorac Pro to Go palette which I reviewed here & also absolutely love. Both palettes have excellent pigmentation & blendability. They are just an excellent formula & the varying shades make everything from easy day or work looks possible along with sultry night time smoky eyes. Awesome overall. I also compared the Lorac Pro Palette to two of my other favorite neutral palettes here: Lorac Pro vs. Urban Decay Naked vs. The Balm Nude ‘Tude Palette (Detailed!)

I thought I’d close out this post with one of my all-time favorite eyeshadow looks using the Lorac Pro Palette. I simply love it! Check out the full post with instructions here!: Fake a Taupe Eyeshadow Look with Lorac Pro + Rimmel Show Off in Nova Tutorial

The Lorac Pro Palette is available from ULTA & also contains a mini eye primer for $42.

So as you might have been able to glean from my post- I LOVE this palette! Do you own the Lorac Pro Palette? Want to see any specific looks using it? What are your favorite palettes?

Is it really almost 2014? How does time keep flying by so fast? The holidays were wonderful &  I even took a much needed blogging break. Boy was it nice to get away from the computer! Plus tons of shopping! Check out what I’m lusting after, what I got off my list from last month, & which bloggers/vloggers have me yearning for new beauty finds!
From my November 2013 Beauty Lust List which you can see here I actually ended up with four out of six products! I absolutely caved but it was the holidays…there were sales! I just couldn’t help it! I ended up picking up the The Tarte of Giving Collector’s Set & Travel Bag, Cargo Let’s Meet In Paris Eye Shadow Palette for Christmas from my husband,  Stila Color Outside The Lines Smudge Stick Waterproof Eye Liner Set & the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette…because I have about no self control. Clearly.

It Cosmetics Naturally Pretty Vol 1 Matte Luxe Transforming Eye Shadow Palette– Oh palettes…how you steal my heart! I’m a huge fan of It Cosmetics (just type it into my blog search bar for past looks & reviews!) & I desperately want to get my hands on this new palette! I’ve heard nothing but great things about It Cosmetics eyeshadows but have never had the opportunity to try them myself. I love that all of the shades are matte except for one “pearl transforming” shade which makes this palette crazy versatile! I really, really need this!

BECCA The One Perfecting Brush– Basically…this brush is supposed to do everything. Like everything. It might even work mind control. “It can be used effectively as a foundation brush, powder brush, contour brush, bronzer brush, stipple brush, blush brush, fan brush, concealer brush, kabuki, or sponge.” Yes, all of that. I’m looking forward to reading tons of reviews & seeing video demos because she is a bit pricey!

Too Faced The Chocolate Bar Eye Palette– Another palette…stop rolling your eyes! Lots of neutrals & formulated with cocoa powder for that chocolate experience? Yes, why yes I am interested! Although mainly neutral there are a few cohesive colors. I’m still needing to mull this one over & possibly visit it in store!

Revlon Highlighting Palette in Rose Glow– Out of the three color options available currently from the new Revlon line, Rose Glow definitely appeals to me most. Bronze & Peach are both lovely & I might pick up Peach for the summer? But the pink tones remind me a lot of the gorgeous Physician’s Formula Shimmer Strips I adore except I’m much more likely to use these on my eyes as well. Excited to finally play with these in person!

Boscia Tsubaki Deep Hydration Sleeping Mask– This must be a new mask because I’m sure I would have sampled it by now! ” A deeply-hydrating overnight sleeping mask that intensely moisturizes and protects to deliver long-term antiaging benefits and smoother, baby-soft skin.” My very dry skin is kicking me for not getting this before the holidays! It has been so dry & windy here…I just can’t imagine a mask doing everything I want overnight! Too exciting! Plus, my skin tends to get along really well with Boscia.

BLOGGER/VLOGGER ENABLERS
The blogs I read & videos I watch that constantly leave me wanting to splurge on beauty.

Pink Sith Blog– This is less of a “I NEED TO BUY THAT!” & more of a It is perfectly okay for me to wear that daily type of thing. She posted about her favorite cold weather fragrances here & I’ve been wearing Flowerbomb nearly nonstop. I just can’t get enough! & clearly if Pink Sith approves that is totally okay.

My Beauty Bunny– Jen has created her own beauty product & I can’t wait to try it for myself! She has created an AHA moisturizer that is all-natural, cruelty free, vegan, GMO-free, paraben-free, sulfate-free, triclosan-free, artificial fragrance-free, gluten-free, and petrochemical-free! Check out her post with tons of details here! I’m too excited about it being able to even out skin tone too!

The PolishAholic– Dandy Nails isn’t a brand I’ve tried or really seen around much but these swatches totally blew my mind! Holo-heaven! I definitely need to check into this brand & as always her swatches are fantastic so check them out right this minute here!

So there you have it! I did tons of shopping the past two months…probably why my list isn’t currently a million miles long! How about you? Anything fabulous I need to check out? Tell me about it below in the comments!

My Christmas + Glamour Doll Eye Look with 5 Candles, Flawless, & Downtown!

I’m a Glamour Doll Insider. Affiliate links.

Hey guys! I loved taking a short break for the holidays, it was fabulously needed! I thought I’d show you the eye look that I wore today using Glamour Doll Eyes pigments & share a bit about our holiday!
It was a busy holiday for us but also a heck of a lot less busy than usual! This year we stayed here on base in Nebraska instead of traveling to see family. It was definitely less stressful! We definitely spoiled each other (say hello to Ryan’s new Xbox…) which was also nice! Some of the beauty related items he got me are the Cargo Paris Palette, Marc Jacobs Honey Perfume, & my first ever boxed blush from Benefit in Rockateur which I just hadn’t been able to justify on my own. Definitely items I wanted! Let me know if you want to see reviews on any of those!

For Christmas we had two single military guys over who couldn’t go home to their famalies. Basically they heeded to be fed! I made Jack Daniels Honey chicken, sweet beans, spicy beans, corn, & jalapeno cornbread. Yum! Everything was nearly demolished. Our trees (yes, there were two!) might be fake but they were gorgeous & I’ll be sad to take them down. I love having our house looking so glittery & colorful…shocker right? Ryan was able to have a few week days off so we got a lot of shopping done including some Peppermint Brownies from Trader Joe’s which are SO good!

Right now I’m working on my end of year favorites- you can see my 2012 videos here! This year I think I’ll add some posts as well since the videos can be irritating to link repeatedly & shorten & such. Hopefully you’ll enjoy them! For my eye look today I have Flawless as a base, 5 Candles in the crease a bit, & Downtown mixed with GDE Foil Me as a liner. You can view Glamour Doll Eyes products here!

I hope everyone had very happy holidays (whatever you celebrate!) & safe as well! I’d love to hear your Christmas list haul or what you’re looking forward to in 2014! What were some of your cosmetic favorites this year?

I love how easy this tree is! The only shade I used that I didn’t review there is the tree topper which is Sinful Colors Gold Medal. I hope everyone is having a fabulous day & holiday season! Thanks so much for making time to stop by! XO
