I bought it.

After using the Wet n Wild 8 Pans for the Spring 2014 collection & finally getting the review up this morning I figured it was time to show you my version of an orchid eye look with this palette. For those who don’t know, Pantone is the be all end all on trendy colors & this palette is right smack in the middle of the Orchid shade named the big honcho this year. Keep reading to see how I put this look together!

All shades are applied over primer- seriously do not even attempt this without it! These shades blend away without it.  Check out my review & swatches of the Flirting at the After Party palette & the Walking the Red Carpet Palette as well. Both are limited edition & were released for Spring 2014 so if you want one of both snag them while you can.

 photo WetnWildSpring2014FlirtingattheAfterPartySwatchesReviewPurpleOrchidEyeTutorial01_zps9cab5d02.jpg

The base of this shade all over my lid is the R eyelid shade which is the truest orchid in this palette. I applied a bit of the R Crease color in my outter corner to define it a bit & a tiny bit of the R definer in the very outter corner of my eye. I didn’t use a highlight from this shade because it really needed a matte, the shade I used was very close to the Wet n Wild single in Creme Brulee. The shade that makes this eye look for me is the  R browbone shade for me personally- I applied it with a bare fingertip to the center of my lid using a soft patting motion. Because it is practically a shifter shade it really adds some light to the look. I added a bit of the R browbone shade to my lower lashline at the very inner corner & a touch of the R crease shade blended under my lashline to the outter corner. I topped it off with a bit of winged eyeliner & mascara for a night out.

 photo WetnWildSpring2014FlirtingattheAfterPartySwatchesReviewPurpleOrchidEyeTutorial02_zpsc0c82279.jpg

I wore this out for a date night with my husband, he’s a big purple fan on me! I really like the way it turned out too. On my cheeks I have my Butter London Cheeky Cream Blush in Honey Pie which I love & reviewed here along with a few other shades. On my lips are some new NYX lip products I’m trying- the NYX Butter Lipstick in Fizzies & the NYX Butter Gloss in Sugar Cookie.

What do you think? How have you rocked the orchid trend so far this year? Remember to check out my full review on this palette here!

Wet n Wild Spring 2014 Walking the Red Carpet & Flirting at the After Party Palettes Swatches & Review

April 1, 2014 By StephanieLouise 151Leave a Commenthttps%3A%2F%2Fwww.allthingsbeautifulxo.com%2F2014%2F04%2Fwet-n-wild-spring-2014-walking-red.htmlWet+n+Wild+Spring+2014+Walking+the+Red+Carpet+%26+Flirting+at+the+After+Party+Palettes+Swatches+%26+Review2014-04-01+16%3A31%3A00StephanieLouisehttp%3A%2F%2Fwww.allthingsbeautifulxo.com%2F2014%2F04%2Fwet-n-wild-spring-2014-walking-the-red-carpet-flirting-at-the-after-party-palettes-swatches-review.html

I bought it.

Wet n Wild comes out with these 8 pan palettes multiple times a year & I always try to hunt them down. They usually retail for $4.99 & contain 8 shades each which are labeled suggestively with how to use them. This time they released 2 palettes- one more neutral/bronze & the other more purple based. Keep reading to see swatches & review!

 photo WetnWildSpring2014FlirtingattheAfterPartyampWalkingtheRedCarpetSwatchesReview03_zps344c1a17.jpg

Like I said above, the back of these palettes have some instructions as well as the front. I personally don’t think the back portion is super helpful but whatever right?

 photo WetnWildSpring2014FlirtingattheAfterPartyampWalkingtheRedCarpetSwatchesReview02_zpsb8074bb8.jpg
 photo WetnWildSpring2014FlirtingattheAfterPartyampWalkingtheRedCarpetSwatchesReview04_zps01623234.jpg

The front of these palettes are also along the same lines of what we usually see but with come cute white looking flashes. It goes with the whole party/red carpet theme. Inside you see multiple textures/finishes including one I haven’t really seen from Wet n Wild before.

 photo WetnWildSpring2014FlirtingattheAfterPartyampWalkingtheRedCarpetSwatchesReview06_zpscd32032b.jpg

First let’s look at Flirting at the After Party. I’ll be looking at the left & right side shades individually below but I think the palette as a whole deserves a look too. This isn’t a total shimmerbomb like many WnW palettes have been in the past but it also isn’t a homerun. Many of the shades are chalky & just not fantastic while others are quite nice. All of my swatches are over ELF eyeshadow primer- without primer I honestly don’t think I would wear these shades. Many of them are chalky & puff around so it needs a base to cling to. Without primer many of these shades literally rub away into nothing- even worse when trying to layer on the eye.

 photo WetnWildSpring2014FlirtingattheAfterPartySwatchesReview02_zps44b6e65e.jpg
 photo WetnWildSpring2014FlirtingattheAfterPartySwatchesReview01_zps1ecb6fa2.jpg

Top row- L Browbone (extremely pale lavender frost), L Eyelid (very cool gray toned purple with silver fine glitter), L Crease (medium matte lavender), & L Definer (deep very cool toned grape with pink shimmer).

Bottom row- R Browbone (light pink with violet shimmer), R Eyelid (warm orchid matte), R Crease (cooler toned orchid matte with blue shimmer), & R Definer (deep berry with slight warmth with cool toned shimmer).

The most original & exciting shades in this palette for me personally are the right browbone because it can be used as a shimmer overlay,  left definer because it comes off kind of metallic & silvery depending on what you use it with, & the right eyelid shade since it is the pure embodiment of the color of the year from Pantone which is Orchid!

 photo WetnWildSpring2014FlirtingattheAfterPartyampWalkingtheRedCarpetSwatchesReview05_zpscfc579d5.jpg

This second palette is called Walking the Red Carpet & has some really lovely shades in it. Each shade is swatched below over primer because again many of them can poof into nothing with some blending. I feel like this set is VERY divided into right & left- the right side is way more demure in my opinion! Check out how flashy the right side is!

 photo WetnWildSpring2014WalkingtheRedCarpetSwatchesReview02_zps36d3a869.jpg
 photo WetnWildSpring2014WalkingtheRedCarpetSwatchesReview01_zps7bd62fd9.jpg

Top row- L Browbone (very creamy colored nude/pink matte), L Eyelid (neutral wheat beige satin), L Crease (warm slightly red leaning taupe-y brown), & L Definer (deep brown matte with chocolate shimmer).

Bottom row- R Browbone (sheer white frost), R Eyelid (metallic gold shimmer with gold flakes), R Crease (golden shimmer, somewhat bronze toned), & R Definer (warm medium chocolate with gold shimmer/fine glitter).

 photo WetnWildSpring2014FlirtingattheAfterPartyampWalkingtheRedCarpetSwatchesReview08_zpsff9894b5.jpg

I have to say- these 3 shades were the ones that excited me most out of either palette at first glance! Although the gold Eyelid shade is flaky it is beautiful- can you see how different the texture is above?

From the Wet n Wild Walking the Red Carpet palette I think my favorite shades are the left browbone shade because on me it looks pretty much like a matte cream which is perfect for blending, the left crease shade because it surprised me by being a nice warm taupe, the right crease because it has a really honey-like coloring, & the beautiful right definer shade because it is just insanely beautiful. I think this palette has much better pigmentation than the Flirting at the After Party 8-Pan Palette but still not the amazing pigmentation from some of my past Wet n Wild trios & 6-pans.

Overall I’m happy I purchased each of these palettes, especially for $4.99 each. I love that they didn’t include a bunch of shades I’ve seen from them before- no basic white or basic black. Both palettes are quite nice over primer but I don’t recommend trying without it or else (at least for me) they blend into practically nothing. I think applying these with a dense brush or even a fingertip over eyeshadow primer is the way to go!

Have you picked up either of these palettes? Interested? These are limited edition so if you want them you need to snap them up while you can! Any eye looks you want to see?

Ipsy has been stepping it up for me lately & I’m pretty excited! When it comes to surprises I’ve been pretty happy with the bags I’ve been receiving from them & the March bag is no exception. Keep reading to see what I received in this nifty bag including products from Bare Minerals, Nicole by OPI, Be a Bombshell, & Pacifica. Keep reading for swatches & mini reviews!

 photo March2014IpsyBagReviewSwatches02_zpsae6c02ef.jpg

The March 2014 Ipsy bag was a special design & the theme was Destination Beauty. I received 4 products total this month- all really nice sizes actually.

Nicole by OPI Roughles Nail Polish in On What Grounds?- This is such a pretty color & has really nice texture! I’m literally wearing this as I type so sorry I don’t have a photo of my manicure. This is a softened aqua/mint shade with blue & perhaps brown bits in it? Very different from the many other textured nail polishes I own!

Bare Minerals Marvelous Moxie Lipstick in Get Ready- This is a mini lipstick & I love this formula! I was really excited this was included! The shade itself is a neutral & quite natural pink for my lips personally. Nice shine & great texture.

Pacifica Indian Coconut Nectar Body Butter- I actually have a full size of this body butter! I love the scent so much I actually bought a rollerball of the perfume too! It is a very vanilla based coconut scent, perfect for layering. I keep this in the back of my stash until it warms up because it is perfect for layering with summer-y scents. It is also vegan & cruelty-free.

 photo March2014IpsyBagReviewSwatches03_zpsad48f262.jpg

Be a Bombshell Eyeshadow Quad in Bora Bora- We’ve gotten lots of Be a Bombshell items in past bags & this might be my favorite! The shades SCREAM summer & really make my blue eyes pop! The quad contains all shimmering shades in a bright turquoise, light bronze, rich copper, & chocolate brown.

 photo March2014IpsyBagReviewSwatches04_zps7354c7be.jpg

Here are the swatches of the Be a Bombshell Eyeshadow Quad in Bora Bora followed by the Bare Minerals Marvelous Moxie Lipstick in Get Ready.

In case you aren’t familiar, Ipsy is a monthly beauty subscription service that costs only $10. Please use my referral link if you choose to sign up, I really appreciate it! The nice thing about Ipsy is that it provides me with gifts for others & cosmetic bags to regift as well.

I’m quite happy with this month’s bag which is good since I was really considering canceling. For the first time in a long time I like every single product! I can see myself using this quad during the summer as well as the lotion which I already like, I’m wearing the nail polish now, & this lipstick is divine!

Did you receive an Ipsy bag this month? Thoughts? Have you ever considered subscribing?

Essence Colour & Go Sparkle Sand Effect Nail Polish in Me & My Lover Swatches & Review

Essence Colour & Go Sparkle Sand Effect Me & My Lover Nail Polish Swatches Review
I bought it. Affiliate links.

I scooped up a new (well at least it is to me!) polish from Essence of their display at Ulta recently called Me & My Lover. It was the only shade I spotted that was textured & says it is a “Sparkle Sand Effect Nail Polish” & you know how I feel about textures. If you don’t…well then you really need to read some of my older posts! Was this one a love match? Keep reading to find out!

Essence Me & My Lover- A very pink based semi-sheer red with dark pink & gold micro glitter that dries to a textured finish.

This brush is quite fat & wide. Sadly mine had a few wonky hairs but they were easily trimmed. This isn’t a great brush for a textured polish because it picks up so much product so thin coats are more difficult to achieve. I wasn’t very impressed after my first coat so I did another. Unfortunately after 2 coats ( & 2 separate applications) I don’t think I consider this all that textured. In my opinion, if you dig the color go for this polish but don’t buy expecting a texture like the OPI, Zoya, or numerous other lines I’ve reviewed. I’d call this lightly textured in comparison to many of my shades.

Essence Colour & Go Sparkle Sand Effect Me & My Lover Nail Polish Swatches Review

I found these in the permanent Essence nail rack so hopefully it will be around for awhile! I believe these retail from $1.99-$2.99 & Essence goes on sale at my ULTA pretty frequently so I advise you to get an eye out for deals! You can purchase this shade from Ulta online currently for $1.99.

What do you think of this shade? Will you be seeking it out? I’d love to see more affordable textured polishes!

Hask Argan Repairing Shampoo, Conditioner, Deep Conditioner & Shine Oil Review

March 27, 2014 By StephanieLouise 154Leave a Commenthttps%3A%2F%2Fwww.allthingsbeautifulxo.com%2F2014%2F03%2Fhask-argan-repairing-shampoo.htmlHask+Argan+Repairing+Shampoo%2C+Conditioner%2C+Deep+Conditioner+%26+Shine+Oil+Review2014-03-27+13%3A46%3A00StephanieLouisehttp%3A%2F%2Fwww.allthingsbeautifulxo.com%2F2014%2F03%2Fhask-argan-repairing-shampoo-conditioner-deep-conditioner-shine-oil-review.html

 photo HaskArganOilMoroccanHairShampooConditionerOilMaskReview0_zpsb4f29fbe.jpg

PR Sample. Affiliate links.

Hask is a brand that is new to me but their products all looked like something I’d buy on my own so when offred the chance to review I was quite excited. They were kind enough to send me 2 different lines but the one I’m reviewing today is the Hask Argan line– perfect for my somewhat dry hair! Keep reading to see how we worked out together!

From Hask- If you had three wishes from a genie in a magic lamp, what would they be? New shoes? A fancy car? Maybe youโ€™d wish for perfectly soft, luscious hair! Well wish no more. You donโ€™t need a genie for healthy, beautiful locks when you have Haskยฎ Argan Oil products! Also known as โ€œliquid gold,โ€ Argan Oil is a precious, time-honored beauty secret in its native Morocco. Loaded with vitamins and antioxidants, Argan Oil from Morocco repairs, strengthens and moisturizes hair, all while taming frizz and adding shine. So saunter on down to the bazaar and barter for some of that liquid gold! Or you can, you know, pick up some Hask Argan Oil productsโ€ฆ yeah, thatโ€™d probably be easier. Oh, and genie? About that new carโ€ฆ.

So these products are free of sulfates, parabens, phthalates, gluten, alcohol, and artificial colors, all great things. The shampoo & conditioner are great- not too moisturizing but leave my hair nice & healthy feeling. Because I have quite dry hair I find the mask & oil really handy! I saved the mask to use after a few days of heat styling. I use heat protectant & such obviously but that still doesn’t lock in the moisture as well as I need. I love my hair day 2 to 3 but it can feel a bit dry. The oil is very lightweight & sinks right into the hair & the mask if fabulously dense & sinks in to treat my ends.

Packaging-wise I wish the mask was available in a larger size other than a packet- like a tub or bottle. I also would like a larger size of the oil- I feel like with my long, thick hair I’ll go through this quite quickly!

What do you think of these products? I’m really excited to try the other line as well- I’ve heard it is fab! They also have a macademia line that I’d like to get my hands on! You can buy these products from the Hask site as well as in CVS, Walgreens, Kmart, Walgreens, & numerous other stores which you can view on their site here.

Ageless Derma Natural Camoufleur Concealer in Fair Demo & Review

March 25, 2014 By StephanieLouise 155Leave a Commenthttps%3A%2F%2Fwww.allthingsbeautifulxo.com%2F2014%2F03%2Fageless-derma-natural-camoufleur.htmlAgeless+Derma+Natural+Camoufleur+Concealer+in+Fair+Demo+%26+Review2014-03-25+22%3A45%3A00StephanieLouisehttp%3A%2F%2Fwww.allthingsbeautifulxo.com%2F2014%2F03%2Fageless-derma-natural-camoufleur-concealer-in-fair-demo-review.html

I feel like I’m constantly searching for the perfect concealer. Undereyes are often my biggest problem so when given the opportunity to try the Ageless Derma Natural Camoufleur Concealer in Fair that is what I was most excited to test it on! Keep reading to see how this concealer stood up to dark circles & what my final thoughts are!

From  Ageless Derma- Ageless Derma Camoufleur Concealer is perfect for hiding those skin imperfections such as dark spots on the face that come with age or excessive sun exposure.  This concealer will cover up scars, port wine stains, and other flaws to make the complexion more even and flawless.  The Ageless Derma Concealer also works as an anti aging skin cream due to its pure mineral content and youth-renewing ingredients.

 photo AgelessDermaConcealerCamoufleurinFairSwatchesReview02_zpse15a03c0.jpg

With lots (lots!) of claims I was pretty excited for this! Ageless Derma claimed to hide flaws, have SPF, resist signs of aging, & help brighten dark spots. I have really dry undereyes so I was nervous- most concealers just don’t apply evenly without ending up patchy. But you can see it is really creamy above!

 photo AgelessDermaCamoufleurConcealerFairBeforeAfter01_zpsb5521987.jpg
 photo AgelessDermaCamoufleurConcealerFairBeforeAfter02_zps94b80cf6.jpg

Before concealer & after. You can see this concealer nicely removes any trace of redness & evened out the darkness as well. It isn’t especially moisturizing but with a nice eye cream this blend on nicely because you only need the smallest amount. It has nice concentration & great color correction abilities. Although not as brightening as I’m used to around my eyes it did help color correct some of my spots as well.

With a natural look and a creamy formula that will revitalize your skin with coverage that is flawless and healthy for your skin, you will love Ageless Derma Camoufleur Concealer. It is a 100% mineral make-up that comes in beautiful shades to cover any skinโ€™s imperfections, plus it is free of parabens.

I don’t think this concealer will be for everyone because it is super concentrated but I find it works nicely in many areas, especially spots. You can purchase this concealer from the Ageless Derma website & although a bit pricey this pot should last me nearly forever!

This month’s box is centered around Spring Cleaning- “out with the old, in with the new!” Here is the information card provided, click to enlarge.

Beauty Box 5 Subscription Box Soap Hard Candy Makeup beauty Subscription Monthly Review
Beauty Box 5 Subscription Box Soap Hard Candy Makeup beauty Subscription Monthly Review

Jane’s Pick All Natural Soap- So this is an all-natural soap infused with herbs & flowers…but unfortunately I haven’t a clue which scent mine is as it isn’t marked. They have lots of options & they’re all unique. Based on the scent I think mine is maybe Joy which is supposed to contain rose geranium & rosemary. It lathers nicely & leaves my skin feeling moisturized, you can tell it has some lovely oils!

Tree Hut Shea Body Butter- I’ve received Tree Hut products before & again- I totally love them! This is the Coconut Lime scent & it is fabulous. It reminds me of summer & tropical weather. The texture itself is amazing too, I’ve been buying this stuff ever since my first sample. It is so rich & extra thick that it quenches my quite dry skin. Paraben free, full of butters, & real extracts are the perfect blend.

Bellapierre Cosmetics Makeup Base- I love this inclusion! I have a few Bellapierre products but this one is totally new to me. This is an ivory shade that is supposed to serve as a concealer, illuminator, & eyeshadow primer. Although this wouldn’t work for all skin tones as a concealer this does work great as an eyeshadow base! It leans more dry than creamy, perfect to top shadow with. The color selection for me is actually quite nice as well!

Hard Candy Just Nails Nail Color- I haven’t seen this classic design from Hard Candy in quite awhile- my sheet says it is a 90s revival! My nail polish in the shade Pretty in Punk & it is a gorgeous pink! I love it! So much fun to see this bottle with the ring topper again, awesome addition for a real makeup enthusiast!

Swissco Dual Sided Facial Pad- I’ve never seen this before but it is a cool idea! So this little cleansing pad is a reusable dual-sided wonder to cleanse the face. For me though I think the exfoliating side might be a bit rough on my delicate facial skin so I’ve been using it down my neck & chest. It is supposed to achieve softer skin & smaller pores but I’ve been using it mainly for exfoliating to make sure pricey skincare really gets down deep.

Beauty Box 5 Subscription Box Soap Hard Candy Makeup beauty Subscription Monthly Review

Left to right we have the Bellapierre Cosmetics Makeup Base, Tree Hut Shea Body Butter in Coconut Lime, & the Hard Candy Nail Polish in Pretty in Punk.

You can subscribe to Beauty Box 5 monthly for $12 a month, $30 for 3 months ($10 a month), or even $99 a year (only $8.25 a month!) which is a pretty darn good set of options if you ask me! You receive 5 samples monthly & it has helped to introduce me to lots of new brands to play with!

So with a makeup item, nail polish, body soap, & body butter then the Swissco product which I consider a tool we have a well-rounded box for March 2014 wouldn’t you say? I’m quite happy with every product & I think I’ll actually be using them all which is excellent.

What do you think of this box? If you receive Beauty Box 5 I’d love to see what you got this month so feel free to let me know below!

Zoya Monet Swatches & Review for Spring 2014

March 21, 2014 By StephanieLouise 158Leave a Commenthttps%3A%2F%2Fwww.allthingsbeautifulxo.com%2F2014%2F03%2Fzoya-monet-swatches-review-for-spring.htmlZoya+Monet+Swatches+%26+Review+for+Spring+20142014-03-21+16%3A30%3A00StephanieLouisehttp%3A%2F%2Fwww.allthingsbeautifulxo.com%2F2014%2F03%2Fzoya-monet-swatches-review-for-spring-2014.html

PR Sample.

I always love getting the new Zoya collections & the Awakening one was absolutely beautiful- I fully swatched & reviewed it here. Monet came out with this collection & I decided to give it a post of its very own. Monet is beautiful but also has me torn- keep reading to find out why & check out the swatches!

 photo ZoyaMonetAwakenSwatchesReviewNailPolishSpring201403_zps44cd7f8e.jpg
 photo ZoyaMonetAwakenSwatchesReviewNailPolishSpring201404_zps6b6543e8.jpg

Why is Monet throwing me off? The formula isn’t spectacular- & that is putting it nicely. It definitely has some goop & thickness issues. It needs some thinner which I’ll be adding after I use it as few times. The glitter is hard to grab because of the base unfortunately.

So why did it get its own post? Just to complain about it? No! Because Monet from Zoya is THE perfect spring glitter. I have it over some of the Spring 2014 Zoya Awakening collection just to show that. Are these shades gorgeous? Obviously, they’re from Zoya. Can they be worn alone? Of course, have at it! But if you want a something extra- some pizazz that still says spring maybe? Then Monet is the answer.

All swatches are over the Zoya Awakening Collection (full review & swatches here) & they are varying coats of Monet. The peach shade is Zoya Cole, purple is Zoya Hudson, & pink is Zoya Dot.

Zoya Monet- A cellophane glitter topper suspended in a clear base.

So is it my favorite glitter topper from Zoya? Nope. I’m actually not sure which is my absolute favorite because I love the flakies from back in 2012 I reviewed & the more recent Maria Luisa which I reviewed here as part of the Fall 2013 Satin  release. That’s still one of my favorite fall releases ever…but now I’m getting off track.

Anyway. Recommending Monet? It depends. If you’re willing to really work with this glitter & eventually thin it out then I think you’ll love it. It really is instant spring to me- I feel like I almost have tiny Easter eggs on my nails. However, if you want to slap something on, I might urge you to look elsewhere. Monet is available for $10 from the Zoya website.

What do you think of Monet? Worth the work or are you passing?  What are your favorite shades for spring this year?

Butter London rolled out with a ton of new cosmetics & I’ve been trying them out for some time now! I’m finally ready to give you my thoughts along with swatches & then I decided to show you what I’m rocking for St. Patrick’s Day since I used a few products from Butter London which you’ll see below! Cream blushes, lippies, a cream shadow, & bright lime eyeliner? Keep reading!

The packaging is lovely on these across the board- sleek black with subtle touches. The running them is black, shiny, & clean looking. Each cream blush has a nice mirror but no wasted space. I appreciate this packaging & it makes it easy to use day to day.

Check out the interior of the boxes they came in- so cute right? I seriously want to hoard all of these boxes & maybe wallpaper a room or something? They’re adorable.

Butter London Cheeky Cream Blushes in Honey Pie, Abbey Rose, & Pistol Pink
First off, cream blushes are my jam. If you have any kind of dryness then you probably feel me! If you have oily skin, cream blushes help other blushes stay on longer. Moral of the story? Cream blushes win. The shades I have here are Honey Pie ( a soft slightly peach pink), Abbey Rose ( a more vibrant coral toned rose), & Pistol Pink (a hot fuchsia pink).

Normally I photograph without touching products but I wanted you to really be able to see how creamy these are & I’ve had them for well over a month. They still look brand new despite consistent use.

Left to right- Butter London Cheeky Cream Blushes in Pistol Pink, Honey Pie, & Abbey Rose swatched on bare skin. The pigmentation these is absolutely gorgeous- plus they’re really blendable! I like applying with a stippling brush, especially for the more vibrant shades. There is a another shade in this line I’m dying to get my claws on!

Butter London Wink Eye Pencil in Jaded Jack
This eyeliner is a bright lime green pencil liner. It is super creamy- no tugging at all. You will need a sharpener. Swatches will be below & of course this was a staple in my look today!

Butter London Twigged Wink Cream Eye Shadow
This eyeshadow was a complete surprise for me as cream shadows normally don’t look quite right on their own. Twigged is a beautiful color- a shimmer taupe. It has a doe foot applicator which I used for application then I blend with a flat brush. After it dries you can also layer on more which is nice for a darker look although I didn’t have issues with pigmentation. I don’t have oily lids but I didn’t have significant creasing issues & it set so it didn’t feel tacky throughout the day either.

Butter London Lippy Tinted Balms in Toasted Marshmallow & Teddy Boy-
Lippies! I love lippies! The texture on these is more of a lipstick that won’t dry out your lips- they have pigmentation so don’t expect sheer. & they’re also buildable!  I found them very cofortable to wear & apply without tugging or slipping. They apply with a slight shine which looks more moisturizing then they evolve into a satin throughout wear. Toasted Marshmallow is more of an orange based nude which is lovely but doesn’t look as good on my fair, cooler leaning skin. Teddy Boy, however, is an amazing rosy pink with the ability to look neutral on my lips. I LOVE it! You can see it in m look below!

Left to right is Butter London Lippy Tinted Balms in Teddy Boy, Toasted Marshmallow, top is Butter London Twigged Wink Cream Eye Shadow, then below is Butter London Wink Eye Pencil in Jaded Jack. Each lippy is 2ish swipes to build up the color a touch while the eyeshadow & eyeliner are one swipe. Top is in direct sunlight & 2nd is in shade so you can see the coloring on that eyeshadow change up a bit.

Today I’m wearing Butter London Lippy Tinted Balm in Teddy Boy, Butter London Twigged Wink Cream Eye Shadow on my lid, on my lower lashline is Butter London Wink Eye Pencil in Jaded Jack, & oh so lightly on my cheeks is Butter London Cheeky Cream Blush in Honey Pie.

Have you tried any of the newer Butter London cosmetics? I’ve reviewed & loved tons of their polishes so I can’t wait to see more in their makeup line! I love that there are very wearable neutrals then great pops of color! Anything I should check out?
