Orange is the New Black is one of my favorite shows currently…so we quickly flew through the 2nd season. I’ll make sure not to reveal any major spoilers but this season was intense (which was expected) but also full of awesome twists. One of my favorite characters on the series (which is on Netflix for those who haven’t indulged yet!) is Nicky aka Nichols who is just a seriously awesome character. She’s rough one minute & understanding the next but always speaks her mind. In collaboration a few other vloggers & bloggers (linked below!) we sought to cover some of our favorite characters- keep reading to check out my look! [Read more…]

DIY Zoya Stained Glass Nail Art for Summer

June 30, 2014 By StephanieLouise 90Leave a Commenthttps%3A%2F%2Fwww.allthingsbeautifulxo.com%2F2014%2F06%2Fdiy-zoya-stained-glass-nail-art-for.htmlDIY+Zoya+Stained+Glass+Nail+Art+for+Summer2014-06-30+16%3A23%3A00StephanieLouisehttp%3A%2F%2Fwww.allthingsbeautifulxo.com%2F2014%2F06%2Fdiy-zoya-stained-glass-nail-art-for-summer.html

I’ve been trying out some new DIY nail applique techniques lately (like this summer faux water marble here) & I thought this collection would lend itself well. The overlay shades are from the Zoya Bubbly Collection for Summer 2014 which I reviewed here.Keep reading to check it out!

I wanted to show this look in both shade & sun- they are super pretty either way no? I’ll admit my technique is lacking as this is my first time ever making the appliques as overlay so they’re a bit bumpy. Bummer…but for me the glitter helps make up for it!

 photo ZoyaGlitterStainedGlassNailArtforSummer2014DIY02_zpsdf6047d4.jpg
DIY Zoya Glitter Stained Glass Nail Art for Summer with DIY Nail Appliques

I used a base color of Zoya Ling (from the Summer 2014 Tickled Collection reviewed here) since I was hoping they’d pop but still look brightened.

DIY Zoya Glitter Stained Glass Nail Art for Summer with DIY Nail Appliques
DIY Zoya Glitter Stained Glass Nail Art for Summer with DIY Nail Appliques

The shades I used for the stained glass effect are all from the Bubbly Collection-  Alma, Jesy, Harper, Binx, Stassi, & Muse. I applied them to clear plastic (in this case the backside of leftover bubble wrap- don’t judge me!) in random motions. I think I did about 2 coats of each shade because I didn’t want them to be too sheer. They dried then I cut them into pieces & applied them over top coat. I cleaned up the edges & added a pop of color in some areas with tiny cut outs. I had to be really careful to add a touch of acetone to get it to blend a bit. I finished with top coat.

So have you made your own appliques for your nails yet? I think I need to try some with stamping next…you guys haven’t seen me stamp in ages! I totally go through phases! What colors are you loving this summer?

Beauty Box 5 Unboxing for June 2014 featuring Vitabath, Nicka K, & More!

I tried these packets- kind of. I tried the two peachy colored ones. The Eslor Replenishing Scrub & the Comforting Mask. I’m kind of funny about most facial products in packets but a scrub I don’t mind. I’ve actually used both of these before & they’re nice although I would have preferred one sample sized product.

Beauty Box 5 Unboxing for June 2014 featuring Vitabath, Nicka K, & More!

Like I said in the video- Vitabath rocks my world. You have likely seen my reviews here in the past but I don’t think I’ve included the Vitabath Wild Red Cherry scent. It reminds me of a flavored drink mix- but not in a bad way? I honestly am not a huge cherry fan but I do like this one. The Nicka K polish is on my toes- nice red very classic. The Glam Natural mascara is way too natural for me- both too wet & not a buildable formula or brush. I used the shampoo/conditioner today from Organix &  while I didn’t dislike it I also don’t think it is hydrating enough for my ridiculous hair. I’m a weirdo though so I bet most peoplewould love it.

All in all- a nice box but not a total home run. Sometimes my favorite thing about these boxes is knowing what I’m not into too- always helpful. But I love this nail polish & the body wash- both great sizes! You can purchase a Beauty Box 5 subscription here + use the FREE614 code while you can!

Urban Decay Electric Palette- Bright Tropical Eye Tutorial + Collab

Urban Decay Electric Palette- Bright Tropical Eye Tutorial + Collab

I bought it. PR Sample. Affiliate links.

Have you noticed I’ve been absent? Bleck. Home stuff. I apologize. I am also late late late on this collab with the lovely Laura of My Newest Addiction who had her video up promptly yesterday. Check out her beautiful bright look here! I immediately knew I wanted to use the Urban Decay Electric Palette because I’ve had it just sitting there looking all gorgeous…staring at me. Judging. So here it goes & I hope you dig it!

So here’s my video tutorial which I actually enjoyed filming. I hope you’re subscribed to my channel on youtube so you never miss one! I have another video tutorial coming up tomorrow as well- see I’m making up for lost time! Here’s Laura’s video here!

Urban Decay Electric Palette- Bright Tropical Eye Tutorial + Collab
Urban Decay Electric Palette- Bright Tropical Eye Tutorial + Collab

This look didn’t photograph as true to color as I had hoped but I think it is pretty easy to see on camera! I used the Jordana12 Hour Made to Last Eye Pencil in Eternal White as my base. This really helps these shadows both cling & pop on the eye. I use it the most often- so much better than NYX Milk by the way! No creasing & it really lasts! The Urban Decay Electric Palette really does need a base though- you don’t want staining & without it the colors aren’t nearly as vibrant. Please note that not all of the shades in this palette have been okayed for use around the eye area so use them at your own digression.

Urban Decay Electric Palette- Bright Tropical Eye Tutorial + Collab
I used the shades Thrash, Jilted, & Urban in that order with the brush that comes in the palette as well as the Real Techniques Essential Crease Brush. I then used the powder & the blush in the ItCosmetics CC+ Radiance Palette ( I reviewed this palette + an It Cosmetics set here!) along with the Real Techniques Multi Task Brush. I love these brushes- I make no apologies for it! My lip color is the OCC Stained Glass Lip Tar in New Wave…I really liked it about 5-7 minutes after application but in the video it doesn’t look as good I don’t think.

So there you have it! I hope you dig my tropical look using the Urban Decay Electric Palette. What shades do you want to see from this palette next? Any favorite combos?

It Cosmetics It’s All About You! Set is Now Live! Review + Demo

Hey guys! I meant to have this up earlier but my eczema was hardcore this week & then last night we had ridiculous storms. There was a river running through my backyards flooding everywhere. Whew. Can’t wait to move. Anyway… let’s talk about the It Cosmetics It’s All About You! Set that’s live & ready to be purchased right this minute! Keep reading to check it all out!

 photo ItCosmeticsItsAllABoutYouKitwithCCRadiancePaletteReviewampDemo03_zps6bfc5e70.jpg

Right out the gate because it is time sensitive- this deal will be up on QVC for only $59.96 until 2:59 am EST on June 22nd…tomorrow. I actually already bought another kit to give my mom. I really do think it is that great. This set comes with 5 awesome products- some of them I consider holy grail.

 photo ItCosmeticsItsAllABoutYouKitwithCCRadiancePaletteReviewampDemo04_zps30072dba.jpg
 photo ItCosmeticsItsAllABoutYouKitwithCCRadiancePaletteReviewampDemo06_zpsadff1090.jpg

I want to start with the CC+ Radiance Palette first since I don’t have anything like it from the brand! Face palettes are so hot right now because they’re easy to use, easy to travel with, & just a clever concept overall. I dig them. This palette contains 3 silky powders. From left to right we have a CC+ Brightening Powder for color correction & radiance, CC+ Brightening blush in a beautiful coral shade, & a lovely matte bronzer.

 photo ItCosmeticsItsAllABoutYouKitwithCCRadiancePaletteReviewampDemo05_zpsd4f57978.jpg
Each product is infused with good-for-your-skin ingredients like vitamins A, C, & E, grapeseed oil, anti-aging peptides, hudrolyzed collagen, green tea, silve, & aloe. The result is is powders that apply beautifully smooth, true to color, & blend like a dream. I absolutely love applying it with the Heavenly Luxe Dual-Ended Cmmplexion Perfection Brush. It comes in this kit- the large side is fabulous & I even used the small side in a hurry to apply the bronzer to my hollows while blending with the other side. The brightening powder is a neutral beige/peach & I love it to set my undereyes lightly & I sweep it where I normally put highlighter.

 photo ItCosmeticsItsAllABoutYouKitwithCCRadiancePaletteReviewampDemo08_zpsf2355db6.jpg

The brush is also great for blending out the It Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Waterproof Concealer. I feel like the shade Light really suits me well. You need to take the time to blend but if you have dark undereyes like I do then you won’t mind that a bit. It really conceals & stays put all day. The brow pencil in this set is also my long-time favorite It Cosmetics Brow Power Universal Brow Pencil. I’m blonde but this universal taupe shade suits me great. I also love the spooly on the other end. I am normally a brow powder gal but this is my favorite pencil.

 photo ItCosmeticsItsAllABoutYouKitwithCCRadiancePaletteReviewampDemo07_zpsb6cb7939.jpg

I’m not usually a huge fan of powders because I tend to be more dry & have the aforementioned eczema but the It Cosmetics Celebration Foundation in Fair is my exception. Because they pack in so many great ingredients apparently my skin doesn’t mind at all. It glides on, sets my makeup with added coverage, & doesn’t look cakey. I don’t use powder foundation often but when I do this is what I reach for.

 photo ItCosmeticsItsAllABoutYouKitwithCCRadiancePaletteReviewampDemo02_zpsca7736a6.jpg

Even if you like a few of the items in this kit it is better to buy it ow- you’ll save a lot of money. You can purchase this set from QVC now.

Skindinavia The Makeup Primer Spray Review

June 18, 2014 By StephanieLouise 95Leave a Commenthttps%3A%2F%2Fwww.allthingsbeautifulxo.com%2F2014%2F06%2Fskindinavia-makeup-primer-spray-review.htmlSkindinavia+The+Makeup+Primer+Spray+Review2014-06-18+12%3A33%3A00StephanieLouisehttp%3A%2F%2Fwww.allthingsbeautifulxo.com%2F2014%2F06%2Fskindinavia-the-makeup-primer-spray-review.html

Skindinavia The Makeup Primer Spray Review
PR Sample. Affiliate links.

Ever thought to yourself: “I just don’t have time for primer today!” I have. I feel you. I’ve been there. If you have combo skin like I do you probably know the many benefits of primer & try to make time for it anyway. Primer not only makes my makeup last longer…but actually appear smoother & better looking. Nothing beats pretty skin when I need to feel more confident! So what has Skindinavia come out with that could possibly rival my beloved makeup setting spray I’ve been using for ages? Two words: Primer. Spray. Keep reading to see why this was a home run!

Skindinavia The Makeup Primer Spray Review

From Skindinavia- Our revolutionary ultra-fine primer mist creates a smooth, silicone-free canvas for flawless makeup application and long lasting makeup wear. Skindinavia’s vitamin-based primer is clinically proven to reduce redness and diminish the appearance of fine lines. Recommended for all skin types.

I have a secret- I have always used my Skindinavia setting spray before makeup application & after. This was a natural progression for me! But this is definitely better- it just works better than my prior formula in all areas. I have an issue with primers that have silicones if I try to use them too many day in a row. Makeup staying flawless & long wearing? Awesome. The effect being breakouts? Yeah, kind of defeats the point. Such a cruel cycle.

The Skindinavia Makeup Primer Spray is everything I’ve been looking for & more! I usually do about two sprays after my moisturizer has sunk in a bit with an X on my face. It only takes about 2 seconds. No time wasted & the spray itself is really fine. I let it set (so I usually curl my lashes, apply lotion, or do my hair) then move forward with face makeup. I finish up with a setting spray out of habit but to test this out I didn’t. This definitely helped my makeup last longer on its own! Plus it didn’t dry out the already dry areas on my skin. Formulated with zero silicones, oil free, & nothing that messes with my sometimes sensitive skin this is a big hit for me!

Have you ever tried a primer spray? What are your biggest gripes with traditional primers? Isn’t this packaging design cool? (Last comment nerdy but still relevant!)

Tarte Amazonian Butter Lipstick Set Lip Swatches & Review

June 17, 2014 By StephanieLouise 964 Commentshttps%3A%2F%2Fwww.allthingsbeautifulxo.com%2F2014%2F06%2Ftarte-amazonian-butter-lipstick-set-lip.htmlTarte+Amazonian+Butter+Lipstick+Set+Lip+Swatches+%26+Review2014-06-17+23%3A31%3A00StephanieLouisehttp%3A%2F%2Fwww.allthingsbeautifulxo.com%2F2014%2F06%2Ftarte-amazonian-butter-lipstick-set-lip-swatches-review.html

Tarte Amazonian Butter Lipsticks Swatches & Review - Sweet Peach, Angelic Nude, Merry Berry, Pink Poinsettia, & Candy Red

I bought it. Affiliate links.

When I think of Tarte lip products- I never thought of lipsticks. If you’re familiar with the brand then you probably own a Tarte LipSurgence- or 12. But there’s a newer product in town & I decided to check them out! Tarte Amazonian Butter Lipsticks are right on trend- I’m seriously seeing “butter” more in makeup than in food these days! Keep reading to check out my thoughts on this new-to-me range from Tarte & the amazing value in this kit!

Tarte Amazonian Butter Lipsticks Swatches & Review - Sweet Peach, Angelic Nude, Merry Berry, Pink Poinsettia, & Candy Red

Overall I’m really liking these lipsticks & I am honestly so into the butter lip craze. Comfortable lip colors- what’s not to like? All of the shades in this line have a minty scent & flavor which I personally do like although I know some people don’t. They are on the same level as the Tarte LipSurgence pencils. Sadly with the lip comfort comes a shorter wear time- only about 1-2 hours. I find that they reapply really easily & layer great- these are really handy to reapply quickly because you don’t need gloss or liner. I did find that the darker shades stained my lips which I personally enjoy.

These shades are all very luxe to apply & very creamy. I love the texture but then again i tend to have dry-leaning lips. The shades are pigmented & even the two with shimmer I really enjoy. I don’t find them gritty but I also need to pay attention as they wear off or else I get left with glitter lips. No one needs that! Each shade retails for $16 but since I bought them in this amazing set from ULTA for only $33.00 I find that a steal. These were cheaper than the drugstore!

Tarte Amazonian Butter Lipsticks Swatches & Review - Sweet Peach, Angelic Nude, Merry Berry, Pink Poinsettia, & Candy Red

The packaging is a bit different though- cardboard? That’s odd. But they feel sturdy & look quite nice. I was completely ready to give the packaging a thumbs-down but they have held up in my purse…which is brutal.

Tarte Amazonian Butter Lipsticks Swatches & Review - This is in the shade Sweet Peach

Tarte Amazonian Butter Lipstick in Sweet Peach- This is such a happy peachy pink shade. There is fine gold shimmer but I don’t feel it on my lips & I think it just gives the overall color more of a shine- not glittery.

Tarte Amazonian Butter Lipsticks Swatches & Review - This is in the shade Angelic Nude

Tarte Amazonian Butter Lipstick in Angelic Nude- A creamy nude that isn’t too matte or too shiny- just comfortable & creamy. I am really digging this because nudes aren’t always the easiest to rock on my fair skin.

Tarte Amazonian Butter Lipsticks Swatches & Review - Sweet Peach, Angelic Nude, Merry Berry, Pink Poinsettia, & Candy Red

Left to right Tarte Amazonian Butter Lipsticks in Merry Berry, Pink Poinsettia, & Candy Red.

Tarte Amazonian Butter Lipsticks Swatches & Review - This is in the shade Merry Berry

Tarte Amazonian Butter Lipstick in Merry Berry- You can see this pulls a bit brown on me because I’m so fair but I think it looks more berry in real life. This is kind of warm but the addition of blue shimmer makes it look cool toned. I find it looked really balanced tone-wise.

Tarte Amazonian Butter Lipsticks Swatches & Review - This is in the shade Pink Pointsettia

Tarte Amazonian Butter Lipstick in Pink Poinsettia- This is kind of a deeper watermelon shade which makes it easier to wear all year. I don’t think this pulls too winter/fall or spring/summer. Again looks nice & creamy.

Tarte Amazonian Butter Lipsticks Swatches & Review - This is in the shade Candy Red

Tarte Amazonian Butter Lipstick in Candy Red- This is a creamy candy red & I love it! It has those pink tones to it so that makes it easier for me to pull off when I have heavy eye makeup on. I like shades like this when I don’t want a full-on red. Another one I think I can pull out all year.

For me personally I don’t know if I would splurge on these singularly but the set is a steal. These are hardcore moisturizing or opaque or my favorite packaging- that’s just my opinion. I’m all about the splurge here & there when something really knocks my socks off. So what makes these worth the buy? I love these shades, I think they look really pretty on my lips, & the positives are really positive. I reach the most for Angelic Nude (which is shocking!) because it is such an easy to wear nude & Sweet Peach because I just love peach shades this time of year. I’ll likely reach for the other shades more in cooler weather since I’m just not reaching for reds & berries as much in this hot weather.

I’m pretty sure once this set sells out it will be gone since these aren’t permanent shades- so check out the Tarte Online Only Kiss and Makeup 5 Pc Amazonian Butter Lipstick Set from Ulta for $33.00 here. You can also check out these lipsticks singularly at Sephora, ULTA, & wherever Tarte products are sold.

Have you tried any Tarte Amazonian Butter Lipsticks? Are you going to pick this set up? Which “butter” type lip products are your favorites?

Vine Vera Resveratrol Cabernet Skin Care- Pour a Glass for Your Skin

June 16, 2014 By StephanieLouise 9726 Commentshttps%3A%2F%2Fwww.allthingsbeautifulxo.com%2F2014%2F06%2Fvine-vera-resveratrol-cabernet-skin.htmlVine+Vera+Resveratrol+Cabernet+Skin+Care-+Pour+a+Glass+for+Your+Skin2014-06-16+13%3A58%3A00StephanieLouisehttp%3A%2F%2Fwww.allthingsbeautifulxo.com%2F2014%2F06%2Fvine-vera-resveratrol-cabernet-skin-care-pour-a-glass-for-your-skin.html

 photo VineVeraCabernetHigh-PotencyCollectionSkinCareReview02_zps51fbbd20.jpg
PR Sample. Brought to you by Vine Vera.

Vine Vera is a bit different than what I normally cover on this blog. While I often cover skincare to test out a variety of product ranges the price on these gives me a bit of a jolt. In order to be the best blogger I can be & see things from all sides I dove headfirst knowing that I’d be interested in hearing more about the miracle ingredient Resveratrol & how this duo would perform. After 6 weeks I’m ready to give you my thoughts on two of the Vine Vera products from the Cabernet High-Potency Collection- the Resveratrol High-Potency Cream & the Resveratrol High-Potency Serum. Keep reading to check it out!

From Vine Vera– So what is this seemingly magical compound? Resveratrol is a chemical that various plants produce to fight off attackers, or to withstand lack of water or nutrients. It has been found in various foods, including fruits and nuts, as well as in the roots of Japanese knotweed. Though some believe Resveratrol was first extracted from Japanese knotweed, in face it was initially isolated in 1940 from the roots of a flowering plant called a hellebore by a Japanese scientist. Contemporary experts began researching Resveratrol’s possible medical value in the 1970s. Additional investigation uncovered that plants seem to produce resveratrol in response to stress from injuries or diseases as a protective mechanism. In the early nineties it was proposed that resveratrol’s might be responsible for the cardiovascular benefits of red wine. Since then, hundreds of reports have indicated that resveratrol’s benefits in protecting against diseases and extending life span. Lately Resveratrol popularity is linked to being an ingredient in Vitis vinifera L., or the common grapevine. The greatest concentration of grapevine resveratrol is found in the grape skin, giving red wines a concentration ranging anywhere from 0.2 mg/l to 7.0 mg/l, depending upon the wine.

 photo VineVeraCabernetHigh-PotencyCollectionSkinCareReview01_zps82a5ad6f.jpg

So let’s look at the packaging on both of these products first because I think it is really lovely. They each have this deep, brown plummy reflective surface. The boxes they came in were bronze (see above) & really sturdy. I find these both seal nicely & the serum has a pump while the cream is a twist off. Both feel luxe but not too flashy.

 photo VineVeraCabernetHigh-PotencyCollectionSkinCareReview04_zps9d8c8f73.jpg

Vine Vera Cabernet Resveratrol High-Potency Serum– This unique, moisturizing serum will leave your skin feeling silky smooth and radiant. Infused with Kelp Extract (Laminaria Digitata), Vitamin C (Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate), Sweet Almond Oil (Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis),Seaweed extract (Laminaria Japonica Extract), and Resveratrol (Pitchia/Resveratrol Ferment Extract), this extraordinary serum will reduce the signs of aging while replenishing your skin’s loss of moisture.

I really do enjoy this serum & a little goes a long way. The texture is very different- like a mixture of a primer, gel, & a serum. This is clear & doesn’t really have much of a scent. This sinks into my skin quickly & my skin instantly feels smoother (likely because of the texture) it is very comfortable.

 photo VineVeraCabernetHigh-PotencyCollectionSkinCareReview03_zps74209482.jpg

Vine Vera Cabernet Resveratrol High-Potency Cream–  This unique ultra-light cream will leave your skin feeling silky smooth and radiant. Infused with Vitamin A (Retinyl Palmitate), Vitamin E (Tocopheryl Acetate), Avocado Oil (Persea Gratissima Oil), Seaweed Extract (Laminaria Japonica Extract), and Resveratrol (Pitchia/Resveratrol Ferment Extract), this fabulous cream will reduce the signs of aging while replenishing your skin’s loss of moisture.

The scent on the cream is also very faint but a bit stronger than the serum. I pick up a few earthy notes mixed in with a slight moisturizer smell. Once it is on my skin I don’t notice it though. The texture is a cream & gel hybrid which means I actually tend to use less than my normal creams. It doesn’t feel heavy once it is on my skin but does really lock in the moisture.

Because I have been using these two products as a duo I wanted to do my review that way as well. I notice my skin retains more moisture when I use them & feels a bit plumper upon application. I’ve been using this down my neck as well & noticed my eczema that I get there isn’t acting up as much either. Because I’m in my 20s I don’t have deep wrinkles yet so I can’t attest to the anti-aging benefits. If aging skin reacted the way mine has, however, I could see these products really being impressive. My skin feels quite smooth & it is usually dry. I have been using this duo for six weeks (mainly at night because they don’t contain spf) & still has plenty left as well- these will last a decent amount of time.

While the price on both these products is jarring ( they add up to over $1,000 ) I did actually enjoy the results. I’m hard on skincare because I think every woman should be- it is something you apply daily directly to your body. You should have expectations & be a bit bossy. Like I said- I’d be quite interested to read more from someone with aging skin since the Resveratrol studies have been a fascinating read.

Have you tried any Vine Vera products or those containing Resveratrol? What is the most you’d spend on an amazing skincare product?

Epic Blend Lip Balms Review- Vegan, Hemp, & Amazing! Oh My!

Epic Blend Lip Balms Review- Vegan, Hemp, & Amazing! Oh My!
PR Sample.

Are you a lip product addict? Glosses, stains, sticks, & balms…I can never get enough. Unfortunately- my lips definitely can. In fact they scream for mercy with all the testing I do. What can I say? I like to change things up…a lot. Lip balms & treatments have become part of my routine out of necessity & you’ll always find one on me. I’m always locked & loaded! I recently had the opportunity to try out some lip products from Epic Blend & now I’m ready to share my thoughts!

Epic Blend Lip Balms Review- Vegan, Hemp, & Amazing! Oh My!

I have an amazing selection here- can you tell? These Epic Blend lip balms are cruelty free, gluten free, paraben free, & some of them are vegan. That’s quite the selection! They ever release limited edition flavors (scents? which is it with lip balms?) on their website here– right now they have banana & chocolate rum. My husband would kill for banana!

Epic Blend Hemp Balms-
Here I have the Coconut, Mint, Citrus Kick, & Vanilla options. I think my favorite is the mint because I’m bias. I’ve grown mint & used it in cooking for years & the fresh scent automatically makes me happy! The Citrus Kick leans a bit grapefruit which I love & the coconut smells just like pure coconut which I also like. The vanilla wasn’t my personal favorite but if you want a vanilla that isn’t too sweet you’d probably really like this!

Epic Blend Vegan Balms-
I have both Wild Berry & the Pineapple Mint which are both vegan. I am absolutely in love with the Pineapple Mint! I’ve already established I’m mint-biased but this is absolutely awesome. I am not normally a berry fan but I like this one too- it doesn’t smell artificial.

Epic Blend More Moisture Balms-
Last we have Unflavored, Grape, Green Apple, & Cherry. I find the formula on these to be a little more slick but more moisturizing as promised. The grape smells just like a purple drink you’d buy in the store but the green apple isn’t as strong. In fact I think I really like the Green Apple because of that. I am not usually a big fan of Cherry scents but I do like this one likely because it smells more tart. The unflavored is perfect for those sensitive to scents… or when I have a headache which I tend to get pretty frequently.

I am loving the variety here- there is definitely one (or 10!) options for everyone. They aren’t too masculine or feminine either…which my husband is always grateful for. I do wish there was a variety that contained SPF & I would love to see something tinted from the brand since these have such great ingredients while being affordable!

You can check out Epic Blend products on their website here. As far as I know you won’t find these in stores here in the US yet- but here’s a list of places you can find them in Canada!

Which balm appeals to you most? What do you look for in a great lip balm?
