Whenever I see men’s kits, I get jealous. They always look so clean, well-packaged, & they really cater to my husband’s love of simplicity when it comes to any kind of self-care. If I handed him 9/10s of my stash he’d roll his eyes because he really is focused on the packaging! I loved advertising & media in college so that’s always something I think about with clients & as a consumer- who is the target? This SkinStore Limited Edition Men’s Collection is perfection & really hits every note- keep reading for all the details!
This kit comes in a really nice pouch- something my husband will actually keep & use. That’s rare- just letting you know! I noted that most of the items inside are target more for oily-normal skin as well, which he also is. You’ll notice everything has that manly/clean vibe, but I’ve actually used a few of these products myself!
Murad Essential-C Day Moisture Broad Spectrum SPF 30 (Full Size) valued at $65
Something I’ve used in a sample- & really think is great! Plus- this product alone basically pays for the entire bag! I will be passing this onto Ryan because he SO needs to remember to use SPF! It isn’t too thick & the packaging makes application super convenient as well! Plus- it is great for sensitive skin! This product is great for all skin types as well!
The Organic Pharmacy Ultra Light Moisture Gel (Full Size) valued at $65
This moisturizer really makes a lot of sense for men! With extracts of aloe, green tea, & licorice to soothe- you apply right after shaving the face! That’s super smart- like a built-in soothing step! It is also super lightweight!
Peter Thomas Roth Irish Moor Mud Mask (Full Size) valued at $58
Another one I’ve personally tried! peter Thomas Roth masks have a cult following for a reason- the results are impressive! This particular mask is black- & is all about clarifying. The volcanic ash & activated charcoal work together to pull out impurities- perfect for congested skin!
Redken Brews Clay Pomade (Full Size) valued at $18
This clay pomade is an excellent addition! Redken is a long-time favorite for me, but this one is new to me! Perfect for adding in texture & hold. I love that you can get the hair looking piece-y even if it is super fine.
Babor 3D Hydro Gel Eye Pads ( Full Size) valued at $29
Another product I’ve tried a sample of! These eye patches are hydrating & plumping while they depuff. I really love items like this for travel especially! Remove the pads from tray & place one below each eye. Leave on for about 10-15 minutes.
Skinceuticals C E Ferulic (4 ML size) valued at $23
This is a smaller, sample size but you really don’t need a lot of product! This Vitamin C anti-aging preventative acid treatment is supposed to improve texture while protecting the skin. A bit pricey- but I’m interested to see how the skin reacts! I’m less familiar with this brand so I’m definitely intrigued!
This entire collection is worth over $250 (I did the math so I know it is worth at minimum $258 not counting the nice leather bag!) & retails for a very reasonable price- CHECK IT OUT ON SKINSTORE HERE!
