This is a post that has been quite anticipated! Sleek came on my radar quite awhile ago- long before their shipping became more affordable & before they jumped on Amazon. While I initially was drawn to the eyeshadow palettes which I’ll be reviewing later on…these blush trios are heavy hitters. You may have caught my review of the Sleek Face Form Countouring Trio then you already know I like the formula of the face products. What you didn’t get to see was how absolutely STUNNING some of my favorite Sleek blush shades are…so I’m thrilled to show them to you today! [Read more…]
If you’re anything like me, this time of year brings along some seriously dry lips. I’m going through tubes, pots, & tins like a mad woman already. It is so much work! A great lip exfoliant is important but so is your follow-up balm. When I was searching the Sephora site a few months back I settled on trying something new!
The Tokyo Milk Dark Lip Elixir in La Vie en Rose caught my eye over the 5 other options because I am such a sucker for rose scents. Most people don’t like the tin aspect of lip balms where you have to physically touch it but I honestly don’t mind. Actually…when I’m lazy I stick my lips in there anyway. It IS mine after all. La Vie en Rose contains rosewater, sweet orange, & peach as the main descriptors. All of the balms apparently contain both jasmine & bee balm. I actually love the scent- it smells very rosy & soft. My main issue was with the tin- I can’t get this lid to secure! I was SO sad & actually wasn’t sure if it was worth keeping…then my husband commented on how nice my lips looked & that this was slightly sweet. [Read more…]
As far of holiday releases go…this was definitely unexpected! EOS has come out with 3 new limited edition balms & none of them say fall or the holidays to me. At all. But that isn’t necessarily a bad thing because I am absolutely loving them- & their cute little wing design packaging! Laura from My Newest Addiction have been blogging friends a really long time so it only makes sense we decided to do our first video collab together! We wanted to both use the It Cosmetics Naturally Pretty Palette because she is so stunning & versatile. When we came up with the Alter Ego Palette idea we thought it would make a great tag too!
How does it work? Pick one of your favorite palettes & zero in on shades you use the least then create a look!

When I started seeing people report about these new Maybelline Electro Baby Lips popping up I was hooked. If you remember way back, I’ve reviewed Maybelline Baby Lips here & then some of the wonderful limited edition shades here. I just love them. They are moisturizing, smell great,& come in a variety of shades. The new shades here are much brighter so I was convinced I needed them in my life! Keep reading to see if you need them too! If you have seen my other reviews for the Maybelline Vivids (I’ve swatched them all! Part One is here & Part Two is here!) you may be telling me, “Stephanie? Why do you possibly need more Vivids?” & to this I say, “I NEED THEM ALL!” Because I really do feel that way. I simply need every single one. When I heard they were releasing 3 limited edition shades it should be no surprise I needed them in my collection. But I was scared….after many weeks of searching they just weren’t showing up! But…then they did so here they are! [Read more…]
So if you saw my first post then you knew to expect me to pick up the last 3 shades in the Maybelline Color Sensational Vivid line. I’m obsessed with “pop of color” lips (especially for spring & summer) so it isn’t a suprise I ended up buying all 10 shades to have the variety & pigmentation with the drugstore price tag! & without further babble…here are the last 3 shades! [Read more…]
When it comes to Spring, I like to rock me some bright lips. Neon lips, off color lips, ridiculously pigmented lips. In the past, I’ve only stumbled onto a handful of drugstore shades that fit into this category. Maybelline Vivids are something I’ve been obsessing over since I first read the press release & I’m so incredibly excited to show them to you today!
