Let’s chat skincare! I noticed quite a few of the items are currently testing happen to be blue- at least on the outside! From acne treatment to masks to cleansing…I’ve got a lot to chat about! Keep reading to check it out!
Erborian Korean Skin Therapy Cleansing Water– “A three-in-one, micellar water that simultaneously refreshes, cleanses, and removes makeup.”
Will I ever get over the magic of cleansing waters? I mean…I really don’t think so! The reason I like this better than a few others I’ve been trying? The scent isn’t overpowering & wayyyy lighter which I appreciate. I use this in the morning to remove my overnight skincare without stripping my skin badly. I feel like it really does a great job at this!
Kimberly Parry Sea Organics Hydrating Gel Mask– “Hydrating Gel Mask with Blue Agave and Dragon’s Blood diminishes lines and pores and alleviates problems that arise from compromised skin, aging and environmental stresses.”
This is one of the best smelling masks I’ve ever used! It smells very herbal & soothing- it contains only organic ingredients as well. Think of it as a moisture surge mask! It says to leave it on for 20 minutes, but sometimes I apply a thin layer & sleep in it when my skin is especially damaged. I especially like it on my eczema areas where I get really red & dry.
Zapzyt Acne Wash Cleanser & Zapzyt Pore Clearing Scrub– “Clinically proven safe and effective on sensitive skin.”
Why did I pick that quote above the others? Because it is pretty rare. When I am switching out my cleanser to combat acne- it isn’t the norm. & I need products that help without overdoing it. Normally if I’m using more than just the spot treatment below, it is something like high stress or pretty bad hormonal. Both of the products move into my routine seamlessly without irritating my skin. I don’t need to use them daily, but I’m always confident when I reach for Zapzyt that they’ll help!
Zapzyt Acne Treatment Gel– “Clears acne pimples and blackheads fast. The oil free, odorless gel vanishes as it clears skin.”
What makes the Zapzyt Acne Treatment Gel my favorite treatment of all? It actually works. This acne treatment gel is water based & doesn’t contain alcohol like the competitive products – which only irritates redness of the already red/inflamed zit area. This isn’t something I have to use every day- it is just for breakouts. Hormonal is usually why mine pop up, so I don’t change my whole skincare routine for it! I just add it in when necessary & let it work its magic!
Herbivore Lapis Facial Balancing Oil– “A hydrating face oil to balance skin while improving visible redness and blemishes.”
I save this for when I’m having breakouts! I use Zapzyt to treat & this Herbivore Lapis Facial Balancing Oil to help moisturize. This vegan oil contains no fillers- which is what you should look for in a facial oil if you really want a treatment. The focus isn’t acne though- it is balance. It absorbs quickly without further clogging pores after treatment.
Lisse Real Hydrogen Yuza Snow Ice Cooling Cream– “Aqua micro capsules that store ample amount of water burst instantly as they touch the skin, giving it a cooling effect and lowering the skins temperature.”
I had a pretty bad chemical burn. I did NOT use this on it but I did use it as I was trying to heal it later on down the line! It is a cooling product which I really like- especially since you can keep it in the refrigerator. I’m a HUGE fan of fruit extracts in my products as well because it is a more gentle exfoliator. So this helps exfoliate, brighten, cool, & moisturize all in one! I adore multi-use products!
What are your favorite skincare products at the moment? How do you combat hormonal breakouts? Any favorite blue products I need to add to my list?
