When it comes to eyeshadows…I always come back to neutrals. I go on neutral palette sprees & recently my weapon of choice has been the Too Faced Boudoir Eyes Palette. Some of the shadows in this palette are repeats from other palettes…but they happen to be my favorites so I don’t mind! Keep reading to see some of my favorites & some new shades as well!
From Too Faced: This handpicked collection of eye shadows offers boudoir-worthy colors including five new shades just for this palette for a total of nine soft and sexy colors. Created with high concentrations of color, what you see is what you get: pigment-rich shades with a brilliant finish. As with all Too Faced palettes, a show-and-tell centerfold Glamour Guide is included to give you instructions on creating three Boudoir Eyes looks.
Swatches are left to right in the 3 sections located in the palette. Swatches done over a light coat of eyeshadow primer.
Day: In the Buff, Fuzzy Handcuffs, Voulez-Vous.
In the Buff- Creamy vanilla toned white. Satin.
Fuzzy Handcuffs- Very cool toned peach satin.
Voulez-Vous- Smoky eggplant satin with brown undertones.
Classic: Satin Sheets, Sugar Walls, Garter Belt.
Satin Sheets- Fair pink with a strong gold duochrome.
Sugar Walls- Pinky-beige/nude satin with silver micro glitter.
Garter Belt- Warm matte grey wight extremely fine silver shimmer. It doesn’t really come across on the eye.
Fashion: Birthday Suit, Lap Dance, French Tickler.
Birthday Suit- Light shimmery beige toned taupe.
Lap Dance- Purple toned grey shimmer. Looks more purple IRL.
French Tickler- Extremely dark black/brown with gold micro glitter. It says it is black but I definitely see a hint of brown in there.
Like most other Too Faced Eyeshadow palettes you get 9 shades in a variety of finishes. These shades are all meant to be used in different combinations to create a sultry look. I like this combination a ton, it is sexy while still being wearable & neutral while still being interesting. Overall, a very strong palette for me personally. The shades I reach for most are Lap Dance (which I have in another palette & use consistently), Garter Belt because it is just a gorgeous grey, & French Tickler because it is ultra pigmented & just looks beautiful.
You can purchase this palette from Sephora,ULTA, & often wherever Too Faced products are sold.
What do you think of this palette? Is it something you’d reach for? What are your favorite palettes for a sultry eye look?
