I have to be honest with you guys, I had a really hard time writing this post. It is so hard to find positivity in the death of a child. Simply breaks my heart. As an online community, Nail Polish Wars brought us together to honor the life of Talia Joy. Talia had 2 very rare forms of cancer yet lived her life through positivity & beauty. Through her passing we have come together in the form of mint manicures, the last photo she posted on her Instagram account.

I went with Zoya Neely because it is just such a soft, beautiful minty green. I used rainbow laser strands to create a soft, heavenly feel. I imagined it like rainbows coming down. On my pointer is a stripe-ish application of Ocean Mist foil. I topped it with a small bow. I hope she would like it. I’m very sad about this, I’ve followed her for a long time & felt connected. 

She was an inspirational young girl & will be very missed. Whenever a person dies of a cancer we are saddened but children strike an especially painful chord.
